  1. The set's name actually is Evo XL Machine, so what are you complaining about ?
  2. I noticed yesterday that the battle scene is full of references to HF designers (Christoph Games, Brian's Coffee...), and there is even a reference to Matt Betteker's blog (look at the logo on Jaw Beast's arm), so I assume he's the one who drew the comics. I really appreciate those little references and "winks". BTW, do somebody know who designed which sets ?
  3. Yeah, and maybe they will cancel the City theme since EB members keep complaining about how much police/firefighters themed sets we have each year. Also, I just noticed that Evo's underground walker seems to have a Trans-Yellow windscreen. If it is the case, that would be great.
  4. Indeed, funny concept, and great MOC. Good job !
  5. Are they also in charge of dubbing ?
  6. Thank you very much for this information, guys. So, to summarize, beside the (heavy ?) risk of plastic being poisoned by leaks, as explained by ShaydDeGrai, the only flaw of China-made Lego parts is a discoloration problem (which, of course, doesn't concern every part made in China), right ? And what do Chinese AFOLs think of this fuss ?
  7. I understand that they produce some parts in China to reduce the costs. But why don't they use regular ABS in their Chinese factories ? And why don't they use the "cheaper plastic" in, their European/Mexican factories ? Is it that impossible to get Chinese ABS parts and/or European/Mexican crappy plastic parts ? Or is it already the case ? So basically, why is China always associated with crappy plastic ?
  8. The Flap the wings thing in the description makes me rather think of a mechanism a la Dragon Bolt.
  9. No, I was speaking of this part. The jumper plate's stud goes into the hole, which allows to mount the engines upside down.
  10. Donut tile + Jumper plate.
  11. I really like the body design, and the shoulder/hip joint is a clever idea. But IRL, would it have enough friction to support the weight of the model ?
  12. Yup, very nice. I just think the heads are too "squarish", although I like Scuba's. Also, I noticed that Turbo is the only one to have the new style joints. Does he think the older ones are too mainstream ?
  13. Found these on bricklink : Looks like Laval/Worriz' design, but with different heads. Also... I would be annoyed if the mysterious 70211 turned out to be a lion. Two felines as big sets, meh. I'd be for more diversity.
  14. Not twelve, seven. Even if it was decorated, the same mold was used in the first Harry Potter Knight Bus in 2004. Also, some scorpions sets could also make use of the Mantax claw, who knows ?
  15. Is this what you're looking for ?
  16. LoC action figures ? It's nice to see new tribes. Now I want pictures, because I have absolutely no idea how those new sets could look like.
  17. Okay, thanks. I had actually no idea of the airing date, so that was a very random supposition.
  18. Do you think this delay is related to the airing date of next year's HF episode ?
  19. Leewan replied to Nuju Metru's post in a topic in LEGO Action Figures
I really like the legs design. But why didn't you just use these for the feet ? I also really like his right arm. But what is it supposed to be ? A gun ? Anyway, the crystals create a nice shape, and the different colors bring some nice variations. The blue bits on his left fingers look like rings to me. ^^ The Kanohi-changing function is original. There are four different masks, right ?
  20. New sets are avalible on the s@h in UK. I hope they will quickly become avalible in the rest of the world.
  21. Just saw this in the LoC 2014 thread. More #8 armors, more keetorange. Well, it won't be easy to use in MOCs, but this is still a welcome addition to the keetorange HF parts selection.
  22. Hey, guys, do you remember the (possibly) articulated arms Aanchir found in Lego's database a couple months ago ? Now we're absolutely sure they won't be used for HF minifigs, so their actual purpose is still a mystery... Also, something I wondered (maybe I should ask on one of the reviews' topic). VBBN, could you show us how does the Machines' cockpit look like with other canopies (especially this and this) ?
  23. Well, I think the new rules will now prevent thousands of people being disappointed because the project they supported didn't pass the review stage. Future will tell, but I think more projects that get the 10k votes will be likely to pass, with the new rules (not in quantity, but in proportion).
  24. I also think Doctor Who figs would be nice. Either Four, Ten, or Eleven (they are certainly the most famous Doctors).
  25. Their list concerned only winter sets. We might still get Chima UB this spring/summer. At least I hope so.
