  1. Both system could (and will, at least next year) coexist. I would like to see a new constraction theme based upon Mixel joints together with HF in 2015. We would get two constraction themes, but based upon two very different systems (well, they do have in common the balljoint/ballcup thing, but beside that, many things differ).

NPU for the HF visor and the GS half cocoon/pod ! Your renders are beautiful, and the MOC itself is excellent. Congratulations, man !
  3. The Queen's building seems pretty interesting. I count two XT4's torsos. Looks like we're gonna get a lot of those parts this year (three with Evo XL, one with Splitter Beast, two with the Queen...). Yuss !
  4. Well, hands are usually at the end of the arms. But yes, it's a bit weird that using the Savage Planet paw sacrifices the wrist articulation. Especially when they could do like with Raw Jaw and just add an extra armor. Anyways, this Machine seems to be a good set. And an awesome parts pack. I'll definitely get him. PS : Bionicle fan tag, yay !

Nice MOC ! It's instantly recognizable, congratulations. But indeed, I think it would be nice if you'd build it slightly wider. Not necessarily "to make bigger", but also to respect the proportions of the original building.
  6. bbqqq, what's the secret to render chrome bricks ? And does it only work in chrome gold, or is it possible to get the same result with other colors ?
  7. With its light blue panels and the flame stickers, the 42022 would be perfect for a mirthmobile (from Wayne's World) : Party on !

Thank you guys ! :D Unfortunately, I have no idea about what you mean...

Thank you guys ! The arms are built this way : And the masks are held by the round hole of the 1x3 beam thin.
  10. I'm gonna buy tons of Jaw Beasts ! Evo's Walker is original. I find it ugly, but at least it's original.
  11. Leewan replied to CCOOK's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's an excellent MOC, congrats, CCOOK !

Thanks for commenting guys ! Actually, the mask's "support" is attached in a very weird (but nonetheless legal !) way : this part is struck between this part's two balljoints. This connection is made possible by the width of the cross-section of this connector : it is less than one module wide.

Aaaaaaaaand.... Here's one of my latest MOCs, built fur fun. He calls himself Johnny the Eagle, but he's actually... YES ! A STARFISH ! He believes he's an eagle, and he's in love with the Moon... Poor Johnny... Brickshelf / MOCPage I hope you'll appreciate this funny little MOC !
  14. Good ! Yeah, I had understood that. I just didn't know how the third XT-4 torso was attached to the mini-turntable. Oh, yeah, I haven't thought of that. Clever !
  15. I started to build it too, but I don't really know how the legs and the shoulders areas are connected. ATM, I have this :
  16. Not my fault if you take things too seriously. Anyways, there are still a hammer and a wrench attached to the mecha's legs. v_v
  17. Instead of a gun, Rocka's minifig has tools. You're doing it wrong, Rocka ! Also, it seems that Evo's XL Machine has three XT4 torsos. This set will be an awesome parts pack...

I agree with the blue head/core idea, but I don't think adding some black to the skeleton would be a good idea (but it all depends on how colors are spread). I don't really remember, but I probably chose those colors because I had nothing else left. Most of my bones were used by MOCs I had built for the Festi'Briques exhibition which took place during the last weekend of October, and a lot of armors were on MOCs too. But you're totally right about the proof-of-concept thing. This MOC was mainly built because I wanted to see if the torso I designed for the contest was buildable IRL. But this is also a part of how I work. Most of my MOCs have custom torsos, and standard arms and legs. Also, posting this MOC made me want to rebuild its torso, and I made a little modification to it : I used this to attach the Hordika necks, instead of this assembly, which makes the whole torso lighter and simpler.

Thanks ! That's what I prefer : build custom bits, but while still keeping the standard size. About my color issue, according to BL, this is standard red. But it must be made of a different plastic, I don't know... And the gear's color is indeed called rust, at least on bricklink.

Your mistake is understandable, since, strangely enough, this foot's shade is a bit darker than regular red parts. And since this one is the only one I have... Well, anyways, I think you guys will see a dark red and white Hero appear very soon ! (And I have Worriz since two weeks, it's time to use his parts !)
  21. Leewan replied to Leewan's post in a topic in LEGO Action Figures
Thanks for commenting ! Probably because they are white. Maybe Metru feet could have been better. The Slizer foot is actually red. But dark red and white could be an interesting color scheme, I'll give it a try ! ;)

Pop pop ! Here comes an MOC I had forgotten for months. It's a Hero a friend and I designed back in Julk, which uses my DH entry's torso. Brickshelf / MOCPage Once again, comments and criticisms are appreciated. ;)
  23. Leewan replied to Chro's post in a topic in LEGO Action Figures
Thanks, Chro ! And... Are those armours attached to the body via balljoints ?
  24. New feet. Beast's claws/blades (they also appear in a ninjago set, and in a Chima spider set). And... Heroes' mechs' cockpits, and the containers in their backs. Also, I don't know if it was already noticed, but Evo's mechs will bring yellow 5M armors, I think they are welcome.
