  1. The mutated one is super cute ! I love it ! Unfortunately, the two versions, even if they have a similar shape, don't really look like each other. :/ That might be because the "normal" one is dark green and the mutated one is regular green, or because of the parts selection : they only seem to have the Rahkshi head in common. Also,I have one question, where are the green Nuva chest armors from ? They're not listed in green on bricklink. If it's painted, you did there an excellent job ! EDIT : Wait... Why am I in the Lego Action Themes section ?

Thank you for your kind comments. :) Hum yeah, must be because of the "military" colors and the pose (and maybe the helmet, which reminds me Halo and such universes). That's quite funny, because originally I didn't wanted to make a soldier-like Hero, I chose dark tan because it's a color that I like, and that is not used in HF, but yet looks good on a Hero. I made that pose just to show the Hero preparing to shoot, because an action pose is better than a simple standing pose (but much harder to make, especially in LDD x/ ). And the combination of all those elements make a soldier Hero. But your Hero, Toa_Of_Justice, is much bigger than mine (and looks more like a real soldier than mine, mine is more futuristic). I like creating new things. I could have used a normal 2.0 frame, but it's not as fun as custom frames. And it's way more challenging to create a new body than use just a single part, and this is interesting, for me. Also, this body is the one I planned to use for my HoM entry. Unfortunately, it didn't "work" with the mutation effect : this body is quite blocky, and it wasn't easy to work with it. So I built it on LDD for my DH entry, and used another body for the HoM category. The physical body uses a Metru chest armor instead of the MTIS (which fits only thanks to a bug in LDD, IRL the MTIS would collide with the Inika leg armor), with a slightly different build.
  3. Sorry for the DP, but here's my Digital Hero (pic is link to the topic) : EDIT : I hope I'm not too late and won't be disqualified, but currently, where I live, it's 23:58.

Here's my entry for the Digital Hero category : Marshall Boyle. (He's flying because of the geometry of the shin armor) LXF / Brickshelf
  5. Hero or Monster ? Click the pic to find it out ! :D

Hi guys ! Here's my entry for the Hero or Monster category ! They called me for a mission. Hero Factory was attacked. By strange creatures. Controlled by weird brains. So we were updated, we were given extra armor to protect our cores from those Brain Slugs. When my team and I left the Factory, there were lots of alien creatures fighting Heroes : some were red, some were grey, some were green, some were white... A real army, against us. So we joined the fight, we had to protect the city, and the Factory. We are Heroes ! And suddenly, while I was fighting a spider-like black and golden monster, my chief, Theodore Rodney, called me. His voice seemed far away from me, like an echo, like a voice that came directly from a dream. He yelled "Ryan ! Behind you !" But it was too late. I felt electricity running through my whole body. I was changing, I felt it. That scared me. What would happen to me ?! I wasn't able to think anymore, my mind was like lost, blank. I didn't knew where I was, who I was, why I was. I saw my arm become red, my sword fused with my hand, and a green organic matter started to cover it. Spikes where emerging from it, that was terribly painful. My back hurt, much more than my arm. Even if I wasn't able to see it, I felt the same transformation was happening to my back. And then I saw my leg become red too. What was going on ? And suddenly, a flash of pain crossed my head. And I felt angry. Terribly angry. Those Heroes... I had to kill them, I had been created for this ! My body was a great tool, it would help me to eliminate the Heroes, and give him the control of the city... MOCPage I hope you will like it, C&C are welcome ! :)
  7. Wow, awesome MOC ! It's quite simple, but very effective. And all those smooth surfaces are gorgeous.
  8. Wow, fantastic MOC ! Congratulations ! Do you have pictures of the MOC without the roof ? I'm curious to see the inside.

I agree with davidr about the gunmetal. This is a quite nice revamp, I like the overall look of the MOC, even if there are some minor flaws, like the thighs, that seem too thin to me, and the tubes, that may not be necessary (or not that way, they might look better if attached in another way). Anyways, I like it better than the original Stormer XL, so I think you succeed with your revamp ! :D
  10. Leewan replied to ZORK64's post in a topic in LEGO Action Figures
Hum, don't really like this Stormer, looks like a 2.0 Stormer, but a bit less good. His shield (?) reminds me his original arm he had in 2010. But he has a nice selection of parts. Anyway, thanks for the review, ZORK64.
  11. My entries (HoM and DH categories) are almost done, I will post them tomorrow. Even if I don't win, I hope you will like my MOCs. :D
  12. Another Impossible build :
  13. Leewan replied to TheRedGuy's post in a topic in LEGO Action Figures
I love the legs. The skeleton is incredible, there are so many balljoints ! I also like the four #4 armors on the body, they give a very good appearance to the MOC.
  14. My second Entry : Cragger's Sword :
  15. I have MODded Cragger, I will try to post pictures before this weekend. I bought Gorzan today, he's pretty nice. I will MOD his legs, though, they are a bit too small, IMO. And replace those feet by Pyrox's ones. They should be more adapted to a gorilla than the classic 2.0 feet.
  16. Hum, looks nice. But I'll be waiting for the review before deciding whether I buy it or not.
  17. So if I choose to edit my post, I will have to wait five days, and the edited post will count as an entry ? Well, I think I will make four more original entries rather than waste one and have only three new MOCs.
  18. Thanks for the advice, Aanchir. Well, I don't know, I've built a Wolf-like creature (basically Worriz or Laval, but with Fangz' head), on which I based my MOC, but since I have Fangz, I don't know if Chima characters' heads are much bigger. And even if blades touch the head, the whole build can be rotated backwards. I will try when I will have access to my parts.
  19. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... Here's my first entry ! I have some problems with POV-Ray, so I can't provide a proper render, so it will be a simple LDD screenshot : And the LXF file. As you can see, the MOC has a little mechanism which allows the propeller to rotate with a little gearing up. The MOC can and will be built IRL. This Back-copter does not fit every Ultrabuild since it is meant to be attached to the two intermediate balljoints on the HF torso. But with a few modifications, it can be attached to every UB, except perhaps for Cragger.
  20. Wow, sounds extremely exciting ! Can we enter the three categories, or do we have to choose only one ? EDIT : I think this answer my question.
  21. Are the outriggers able to raise the crane when they are not deployed ?
  22. Leewan replied to de-marco's post in a topic in LEGO Town
Awesome MOC ! Is it strong ? Because with all this SNOT and those tiles, the MOC seems fragile.
  23. Leewan replied to ToaBulk98's post in a topic in LEGO Action Figures
Doesn't a similar topic already exist ? IMHO, I think a mod should merge these two topics.

Oh, so I'm very pleased you like this "first venture". Maybe it will inspire you to come here more often. I was afraid of that. You're the third to tell me that, and I can assure you I never saw this cover art before. Or maybe once, but it was several years ago, and I didn't took inspiration from this picture for my MOC. Plus, that movie was laaaaaaaame ! This is nothing but a coincidence. I wish I was the first one to have this idea, I just came too late. ^^ Beside that, thank you, I'm really happy you like my MOC, you don't have to be sorry for resurrecting the thread if it's for saying such nice things. :D
