I got three technic turntables from the Lego Store Tyson Corner at Mclean, VA , USA but that was last year around this time. I think it could be one of these two reasons: 1: The store manager requested the brick part with the part number simliar to the technic turntables 2: The warehouse read the wrong part number and sent the technic turntables General speaking, the PAB is not for Technic parts. I ordered my 41999 on Sunday night 8/3 around 11:00pm. I got the "In Procress" status initially, then changed to "Backorder" status on Monday. On the morning of Tuesday 8/6, it changed to shipped. Today, Thursday 8/8 , I received my 41999. I am sorry and sympathized for you guys to go thru all the trouble. Now, I wonder what my number is. It might be 00001.

1. I got this set back to March 2010 NIB for almost $300.00 and built the Dinosaur only 2. The eyes are so realistic that look very mean 3. It is a real LEGO invoice printed nicely with "Return" infomation with my Name and Address. The shipping box is also from LEGO because I ordered two sets from LEGO before. There is no new shipping label struck over. The process looks like a "gift" item that "sold to someone" but "shipped to another address".

I got one for $179.99 with free shipping few days ago. The PayPal went to an account in UK and sold to Colordo, USA but shipped to me in Virginia, USA. The package sent directly from LEGO with Lego's invoice. The Package/Invioce includes 8110 ($199.99) and 30141 ($1.29 - I didn't order) with $15.05 shipping, $10.82 sales tax. I think these EBAY salers are legitimated LEGO wholesales but I am so worry about that my Paypal will charge the extra in the feature.

It is okay for me not to spend extra money to buy this "Special MB Version" with different Box, Stickers, etc. But if MB had an artical on their internal maganine to talk about the evolution of LEGO #8110, I wonder if this LEGO set is just a licenced set. MB might have some agreements with LEGO to produce "special version" for MB employees considering LEGO is so popular in Europe especially in German.

Since the TLG and MB team up to produce the #8110 Unimog, I have these questions bothering me for a while. 1. Will there be a special edition of #8110 like #8461 BMW Williams F1 2. How and in what way it is special to MB version (Pin, Keyring, and Lanyard, etc) 3. What is the distribution channel 4. How much it will cost for the this special MB version 5. Do I need to buy a MB vechile in order to get this special version I hope somebody can answer these questions before the regular #8110 for sell so I can decide which version to buy.

I would like to see some kind of "Double Decker Bus" and scale to Technic Figure (not Minifig) if possible. It will have all RC functions for the following: 1. Motorized Steering with working steer wheel for bus driver 2. Motorized Transmission (3+R or automatic) to driving wheels 3. motorized/pneumatic Doors 4. motorized/pneumatic Suspension to raise and lower the truck! 5. All Lights Is it a little too hard for LEGO or not?

I have this set, too. The first time I built it with minor modification from one of the post advised, the clutch function worked perfectly. The modification will change (Book 1 - Page 79 - Step 35 ) 2 16's teeth gears to 12 and 20 teeth with 12 teeth gear connect to the input and 20 connect to the clucth with the friction pin to the cross gear. This made the motor rotated a little more with torgue to engage the clutch. Also, I think the motor tendered to stop at centain position due to the internal "core and rotor". You need to find that "sweet spot" as the end point of the clutch. Please search "8043 Modifications 6 Simple mods to make the 8043 work & look better" for modification #2
