2011 Alien Conquest
Could be the internets or mediafire's problem, shouldn't be your computer. Wait and try another day. Happens to my downloads there sometimes.

KDog, I've uploaded them to here: http://www.mediafire.com/?es662za8qdaa0ad Includes Castle, and whatnot from the whole page he uploaded, excludes Hero Factory though.

Sets: 7049 Alien Striker 7050 Alien Defender 7051 Tripod Invader 7052 UFO Abduction 7065 Alien Mothership 7066 Earth Defence HQ 7067 Jet-Copter Encounter Is that a pitchfork from Castle I'm seeing in 7052? Hopefully it gets past the prelims or something.

2011 Alien Conquest
I'm afraid I can't recall much at the moment as I only had but a short glimpse at the images, hopefully I may be able to look at it again to provide you all more details. I will try. But for now, there really isn't much to say about the aliens other than that they are just like the squidman from SPIII, a body with a molded head, no helmets and all.

Also, regarding this. For retailers in my country, lifestyle products usually refer to Lego products that are not sets, like keychains, bags and surprisingly also battlepacks that are boxed up in plastic. So, the things that I saw are definitely not old sets from the catalog. Also, TLG seems to be using minifigures of the Collectible minifigs to sort of path a way for their new themes, like the Pharoh, Ninja and Mummy. It's also strange that they should release a Mummy collectible minifig when a theme along that line will come out along the planned released date, so the same trend may be seen with the Alien of a disgusting green in Minifigure Series 3? But then again, my memory is really failing me, I only remembered the 'Alien' word in the new theme, as I was only given a quick glance at the pdf, so 'Invasion' could actually have been, 'Attack', 'Revenge' or... something along that line. You do have a reason to doubt me I guess vexorian, as I also can't exactly remember how the humans looked like, only along the lines of power minerish or space police III like. I guess it could be just the typical Human against other species kind of figures TLG has been producing recently for their themes like Atlantis, Power Miners and Space Police. Also, regarding the Civilian-like-figure, if my memory serves me right, he was holding a briefcase. *Really sorry for being such a lousy news-provider, didn't have in mind to absorb everything on the spot, was just stunned then that PotC news actually got to my retailer before anyone else in EB leaked the information, and was also trying to comprehend PotC as I had not watched any of the movies then.*

2011 Alien Conquest
Ah. Thanks Fugazi. Yea, it's pretty much the shade of green we are seeing in the minifigure series 3 if I'm not wrong. For me... it just does not seem eye pleasing for some reason. I remembered a bit more details: The aliens in the supposedly battlepack hold the raygun from the minifigure series, with a trans-orange stud on it, so I don't think we will be seeing lightsaber sticks here. The Civilian Militia or something, although I can't remember what they were wearing, seem to be holding a weapon of a new mold, very interesting design that is all I can recall though, can't exactly remember the shape, just remember it's a new mold. Also note: All I just saw were the minifigures from the battlepack, which means it's most likely going to be like those of the Pirate and Castle Battlepacks too. Although it's interesting that they did not separate the good and the bad guys?

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Therre was a name on it. I am quite sure it was her. Although I am not very familiar with PotC yet, perhaps you are right about that Clone o' Patra. Then again Elizabeth could be wearing the same outfit in the new movie or we may see the same release pattern as toy story. Old movies first then sets from new.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
I have a feeling that the big ship is going to be the Black Pearl, looking at what minifigs we should be getting. Also, I just remembered, there were also some imperial guard minifigs keychains, very much looking like those of the current theme. Redcoated and all, looking a bit more classic following those of the movie. Expect lots of tri-cone hats (hope I got the name correct.) Also, Elizabeth Swan's outfit looked pretty much like the governor's daughter from the current theme. White dress and all but no hat. about the alien invasion thing, I will try to recall to the best of my ability later, as I can only remember the civilian and aliens more clearly and will try to sketch the aliens later. However, my memory is rather fuzzy, but honestly, the aliens looked of such pukish green standing beside the other characters. I think the green was on the likes of Space Police III wave's 2 Rench. Regarding when PotC will be released, I think it should be slated for a July/august release, just like the current pirate theme if I am not wrong. After all, we have not seen any pictures of sets and are already getting quite some new themes at the start of the year.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Hey guys, browsed through only the last 2 pages of this thread and it seems that there is still doubt about it's existence. I've recently seen a pdf file given to dealers of next year's lifestyle products, and it's pretty much confirmed that PotC is coming out as a theme next year as there were minifigure keychains of them. I'm not really able to recall exactly how many and who, but after finally watching Curse of the Black Pearl for the first time yesterday, I have reason to believe that it is based on the first movie, as the minifigures I can recall are: Captain Barbossa Captain Jack Sparrow Elizabeth Swan (didn't look very nice imo) Black Guy with dreadlocks (One of Barbossa's crew right?) Another Black Guy with creepy eyes (I think) Note that I could not see much or in close detail, but given the fact that keychains are already being marketed to dealers can pretty much confirm that PotC is coming out next year. I'm sorrry for not having any pictures or anything to confirm this, but trust me. Also, there was some strange battlepack for what seems to be a new theme replacing Space Police III, something along the lines of Alien Invasion or something, I can't recall the name exactly. Saw 2 aliens, different heads but a rather disgusting colour of green with 2 what seems like Power Miners suited soldiers and a Civilian-like figure. That is all.

2011 City sets
Regarding that, that should be based on the new Cars movie coming out most likely next year or so, so it's Duplo, if I'm not wrong Cars 2 is based on him traveling the world, thus the Tokyo stuff and pitstops. Notice the Luigi there?

LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors
For some reason, the idea of a Star Wars Advent scares me. It reminds me of the Star Wars Holiday Special. Do not wants! But then again, more wookies!

LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors
Yea, the Hoth Rebel pack was great, but the Imperial one was not, even though it was a cheaper way to obtain an ATAT pilot, given the fact that most people would want to army build Snow Troopers, but they diluted it with 2 figs that are kind of... Moving back to topic, thanks for the reply, really do hope they add in the equipment, but I think Mandalorians only need the Rangefinder right?
