Opened mine up last night and I have #2702

My online order has now shipped!

My online order has now moved from backordered, to customer service, i confirmed my address details this morning and now it is "In Process". It has never said in process since 1st August. So looks like they are still shipping units.

Sorry, I mean I collected it from the shop and so it was absolutely perfect. I'm not sure what will happen with my online order, but I already had my hot dog cart shipped in a seperate delivery, so I expect if they do send it there will be no damage. I guess if I get my online order I might keep it as a collectors item.

I got my Crawler Will just have to wait and see what happens with my shop order.

Looks like they tried to ship mine today, but my credit card company declined for security purposes!!! :(

How does this work? I ordered my set 31st July and confirmed all payment details by 2nd Aug, yet mine is still at Customer Service? I rang Customer Service again and they said that orders are being fulfilled in chronological order, this is clearly not the case otherwise mine would have shipped by now! Although they did say that my order had registered at 00:57 on the 1st Aug, despite being made much earlier. I hope that my crawler is definitely at the shop tomorrow, or I think I have no hope getting it through Lego Shop online.

I might end up with two at this rate then!

I am around 30-40mins from both, so not too much of a problem!

Is it possible to tell without opening the box?

I have cut my losses with the site shop and rang around and luckily found some stock. Paid for it over the phone and can pick it up tomorrow morning. LEGO Liverpool have 8 and LEGO Manchester now have 2.

My order has gone from Backordered to Customer Service and the UK site now says Sold Out. I will be very annoyed if I end up not getting my order. I ordered this very early on at 23:45 on the 31st July. Terrible terrible customer service considering how special this set is.

My order is status "Backordered" but doesnt have any date next to it. Should it? On the bright side, my Delorean order which was backordered on the same order has just shipped...

Absolutely ridiculous. They should've at least been sorted through in chronological order. For such a large company this has been very poorly managed.

I placed an order for the 41999 set and the delorean set (and some other power functions bits) actually on 31st July here (UK) around 23:45, but never received any order confirmation email despite order going into the system fine (I got some other related emails around 00:16). My order stayed on "Customer Service" for 2 days until 2nd Aug 14:33 when I get an email saying I need to contact customer service to verify payment details and my order status changed to "Please contact customer service" on the site. I then verified my payment details, but now both the delorean and 41999 are listed as backordered with no date. My order number for reference is Y451626794 and this is my first order on the site. So now apparently I have to wait and may not even receive one of these kits despite waiting up and getting my order in very quickly. I am really disappointed with how LEGO have handled this and particularly when I see people who ordered way after me (8 hours+) are receiving the crawler? This is really poor sales practice. And I still have received an order confirmation email or an email to say that my order is backordered.
