  4. Hoth Han? For a May the 4th promo. I'm not as excited for this May the 4th promo as previous ones, but I'll probably cave and buy it anyways.

I knew I had to build something olive green once I acquired some olive parts. It may be my new favorite Lego color.

Hopefully the breakdown shot will help with that. Here's the breakdown shot I promised. I found that when using 1x4 hinge plates stacked on each other that they can curve fairly well without snapping apart. They do need supports to keep them in place, such as normal 1x2 hinge bricks.

Thanks for the great comments everyone! I'll post a break down shot sometime during this week.

This MOC is supposed to be a Sci-fi hotel in a luxurious city. I've been wanting to use the technique that gives the building it's curve for a while now, but didn't have any idea what to use it for, until now. It uses 1x4 hinge plates and 1x2 bricks with studs on the sides to achieve this effect. I may post a breakdown shot latter.

Built for "Like a Boss" contest. The littlest bosses are always the ones with the most bite. Sentinel stomps on it's prey with it's bio-mechanical muscles and obliterates them with it's central eye, turning them into a pile of ash. Side note: I had a lot of fun building this and thanks to TBB for hosting a great contest.

Lately I've been wanting to build ground vehicles. The Dust Devil took three days to build and was a fairly challenging build. The center of the body took multiple attempts to achieve the shapes I wanted. Once I placed the 3x3 dish in the front it all came together. The turret was also built to be modular so it could use a rail gun, rocket launcher, ect... C@C is welcome as always. Maine: Frame:
  18. As everyone else has said, awesome use of the DS spheres! The entire MOC is full of details, and the addition of the light brick is the icing on the cake for me. Excellent work!
  19. So far the planets have been a bit underwhelming IMO, but some of these new ones are fantastic! The new print on the rebel pilot is great, and the new B-Wing pilot is awesome. A complete R4 is also a welcome addition, since I love astromechs. The rest of the sets are also nice, especially the figs. It's great to see some Ep. II clones again (non CW). Overall it's a nice wave, even though all the sets will be broken down for parts.
  20. Awesome work! I saw this on Flickr a little while ago and stumbled upon it on EB, so I just had to comment. The build is instantly recognizable and the scale it just right. The shell of the DS looks great and the entrance to the DS's core is fantastic! Excellent work!
  21. That's sad to hear. I loved buying grab bags, almost more than PaB. There were so many great finds, such as exclusive Lego Land Florida bricks and parts of the Tower Bridge. Even though I'll miss the grab bags I'm sure Lego will come up with another great idea that will get us AFOLs to spend our money.
  22. In the past year I have bought: - 2 tall cups of trans purple cones - 2 tall cups of tan 1x2 slopes - 2 tall cups of dark tan 2x2 tiles - 2 tall cups of dark bley crates - 2 tall cups of dark red 1x2 bricks - 2 tall cups of purple 2x3 plates - 1 tall cup of light bley 1x1 clips - 1 tall cup of 1x2 dark trans bricks Most of these were bought during the Brick World sale.

Thanks! You are right! Subconsciously I think I may have named it the "Sonic Angel" because, as your pointed out, it does have characteristics of an electric guitar.
