  1. Using his Building Instructions, I have built Zblj's LYNX (Trial Truck 10), which is pictured on this Brickshelf gallery and on Rebrickable:
  2. That's because she was talking about the dangling Bluetooth "dongle" going to this item (which girls stare at):
  3. Yes, I have glued the Lego ABS plastic together with ABS glue (which one can get from a hardware store). I could care less if "Lego Purists" approve or not; it's my property and my decision.

  5. I don't understand your logic -- you would spend money on (expensive) JB Weld epoxy rather than sacrifice a few $0.02 Technic Axles?
  6. The official Building Instructions on the Lego Customer Service website sometimes has a choice between the "NA" (North American) size paper (8-1/2" x 11"), and the larger European ("IN") size paper. Perhaps you could select a "Shrink to Fit" on your printer settings to capture all of the IN-sized information.
  7. Oh, it seems that The Lego Group modified their April 9, 2013 Lego Technic Designers Blog entry to include those pictures. EK = Egor Karshiev (rm8).
  8. @ legosamigos: "Proliferous" means that you have produced a lot of Lego creations in a short amount of time! It also means "abundant" and "fruitful".
  9. @ Boxerlego: I know that using the LDD "Hinge Align Tool" for piston crankshafts is time-consuming! Do you plan on building this with real Lego parts?
  10. What a great combination of light weight, climbing/crawling ability, and articulation! The 4-speed transmission is especially good. How long do those Power Functions rechargeable batteries last with those "thirsty" RC Buggy motors?
  11. Very nice Lego Technic fire truck! Have you displayed this at a LUGPol meeting, or at a public Lego convention?
  12. Man, you have been busy building! As with your other MOCs, this is very nice:
  13. I like the continual innovations that you are making!
  14. Nice MOC! That winch looks useful for a multi-purpose truck:
  15. [bUMP] As stated by Conchas (Fernando Correia) on this TechnicBRICKS article, AVCampos (Alexandre Campos) "...will be the new LEGO Ambassador for TechnicBRICKs and our LEGO Technic readership community." He replaces Jetro (Jetro de Chateau). "If you want to get in contact with your LEGO Ambassador, leave suggestions or ask questions, you should write to: lego.ambassador[AT]technicbricks.com ." AVCampos' Eurobricks profile is here.
  16. Your Lego model of the Patria AMV 8x8 will be cool when you finish it:
  17. Nice MOC! Not all Americans had that "Southern twang" accent in 1975! C.W. McCall's "Convoy" song was a big hit back then, and your Kenworth model looks much like the real thing:
  18. What version of Microsoft Windows do you want to load your Lego Mindstorms 3800 Ultimate Builders Set (which uses RCX 1.5)?
  19. Here is Zblj's YouTube video (posted ~15 minutes ago) of his LEGO Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6: It is "Heavily inspired by the real thing; it features: 6x6 wheel drive 4x lockable differentials 2 speed tranmsission powered by 2 RC motors Live axle suspension on all axles Portal axles Measures: Length: 54cm Width: 21 cm Height: 22 cm Weight: over 2kg Max speed : Approx 1m/s, 3,6km/h Max torque on axles: Approx 400N/cm Front wheel steering angle. Over 45°"
  20. @ sives1: You have a very nice Lego Technic collection -- welcome to Eurobricks!
  21. Your wife Lili will appreciate your gift! Would you say that she is an "Adult Fan of LEGO" (AFOL, like your are), or a "Non-LEGO Significant Other" (NLSO)?
  22. @ Boxerlego: Hey, with that fast-running, modified Lego Power Functions XL motor, one may be able to achieve helicopter flight! Several questions: 1) How hot does the motor become when you run it for an extended period of time? 2) What is the cost of the Neodymium magnets, and do you The Lego Group ever adopting your idea to produce an "XXL" motor someday? 3) Did you modify the PF Battery Box to short-circuit its internal fuse?
  23. The grey 2013 Ford F150 has a lot less chrome on the nose than the overdone, gaudy blue F250 or brown F350 below:
  24. If you have LDraw installed on your computer, you could access the Building Instructions for this "Compact Sequential Gearbox (5-Speed + N + R)" by Paul vdB:
