thats is epic, how long did it take to you build it?

Looks alot better than the original, i have reservations about the single door but at least its not being pulled by shetland ponies now.

Completed the collection by just getting the Gold Getaway. The carriage is very good, I don't see the point of the flick missile crossbow thing but the outpost is ok. Overall I think this theme so good I had to buy them all. Its a shame that the carriage and the cataputs don't fit through the Gatehouse though.

Giving away all of my lego from my childhood, I had loads of really good sets. Police station, fire station, service station, post office, technic pneumatic excavator, technic forklift, loads of smaller city sets, space sets etc. Most of all I would like to have the police station back.

Helms deep, because I like castles. I don't have it yet because I bought the kings castle from the castle theme instead. I have attack on weather top which makes a nice display piece.

I like this castle alot. It has really cool features like the double gated prison and the portcullis. I like the modular open way it is put together rather than a base plate. My main gripe is the use of too many large castle pieces which limit what else can be built with it. Also I don't think lego should have put a ladder in there, I think a second staircase would have been much better.

i like the potion room and the staircase in this set. This set is obviously aimed at the younger market as it has a lot of play value. It should have been a little bigger but I still think it looks good.

this is a great set, i have 2 of them because it can be combined with the kings castle set to make a larger castle. I agree, but the brighter colours used in this theme do set it apart from the lord of the rings theme.

the new castle Gold getaway is my latest purchase, Brickshow said it was not a very good carriage but I disagree, it looks very medieval and unlike the lone ranger carriage it is in much better proportion size-wise with the horse. I have all the new castle 2013 sets now and think they are excellent.

i have this set now, it is my first castle. i didn't like the original design and moved the rear corner tower to the front. this gives the front view an imposing look with symmetry. I assume lego put the tower at the rear to allow kids to play with the draw bridge more easily.
