I like the whole moc still you are one of my favorites on mocpages - still i don't agree what comes to this Kit/Davy thing - If you want to use purist Jones with no custom molds or decals then I prefer technique used by the Sebeus for example (just a gray beard with mummy/skeleton head) Kit fisto don't even have a beard and his tentacles look as much hair as lego beard looks (it actually looks a strange tentacle beard a bit)

Hey sorry- i didn't understand that hat is not mean to be tricorne but - well i dunno what is called- a hat used by many spanish and Portugues explorers like Columbus- certainly looks a little like tricorne

Very great moc indeed -but tricorne is an anachronistic -not like the fashion of 1500s... Better say nothing about that native woman

Very nice work with details and all i like all those little ideas but It is Kit Fisto not Davy Jones they both have tentacles though but that is not enough i think i cannot see Davy anywhere just a jedi Kit lost in the odd place

Good review outstanding set- only things missing are Chewie and weequay-guard but as always lego is very skimpy what comes to minifigs - so this really was a treasure when i found this -i just had to buy this- even though i already had Jabba and (yellow) bikini Leia from the Jabba's palace - it also had many nice little parts and lots of brown a good set...

Hmmm... When i watch that Rockband theme i cannot any more but think that lego is definitely at least planning Pirates of the Caribbean line (if those hairpieces will appear as actual bricks they are really like made for a Jack Sparrow Barbossa and all others)

Hey why do they sell licences to the toycompanies- to get money- and when Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer films decided to selll their Prince of Persia licences to Lego instead of Megabloks (Both are the same companies in Potc and in POP!) it is because they believe to get more money with legos- and why? Legos are better it is no even matter of arguing- so when On Stranger Tides comes out (if it will) Do they sell their licences to Lego or Megabloks there is no question (if Pop legos made more profit than Potc-blocks- at least i am going to buy them- great parts- camel! ostrich! Dark Tan!Persians!- even though upcoming Pop movie will probably not be very good )

Best: Medieval Market village- could be best set ever (Endor set comes as a second i think- massive amount of minifigs good parts whole battle- even though At-St is not the best) Cairo Ambush was excellent too- so little - but so well selected parts, i have two of them- maybe i should buy third- arabs, apples, golden plate, carriage, basket....and little and cheap (well for a good set) Worst: Venator- it is huge but not accurate -not cool- terribly expensive and had two poorly done senate commandos- some clones and cw-Palpatine- only good thing in whole set i'm not even dreaming of it...- Still many Space Police and Powerminers were even worse- hard to the use parts with orange and/or limegreen color

Would be great if happens- maybe 2011 when next Potc is planned to be released. Lego have disney licenses now. Nice ideas but what is this thing with "Shanghai" You mean Singapore or is it sort of inside joke that I don't get- i made one of my own set ideas to be a moc (with scrappy custom figs though) http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/157261 The fact that Megabloks did Potc stuff don't in any way prevent lego from doing it- Lego did Spider-man before they sold rights to the MegaBloks- now Lego have Disney licences...

Unfortunately new legobricks have these sort of problems- especially gold and silver colors can fade sometimes- fortunately my Redcoats are unaffected (yet) but my other favorite theme Star Wars uses silver color for lightsabers and Ahsoka's saber was silver until i put in in her hand one or two times and all the silver was gone from the hilt's "handle" however similar hilt from Mace Windu's saber have silver in it still -but even it is going to fade. Same with buttons i believe

She's a beautiful ship - i love the stern and bow is very nice too- and sides of course and everything. I really want to see her ready with sails and all the rigging. And grates are good- i might use that idea thanks

I must say that when i did first find out what the new sets are i was disappointed- new arc and trifighter - i do have both and new ones don't look much better and Space droids again?? And what was most horrific- No Padmé, No Cad Bane no any other new minifigure (except a talz and a clone pilot- Anakin in Freeco speeder is just Han/cw-Ani crossing repainted) I hope that rumour of Grievous' fighter is true- i would like to see new version of him with his guards- i don't have the old one which is Luke's speeder?? Again with one stormy- not very helpful, Wampa attack and Palpatine's shuttle sound good though, Slave one???? Why Lego can't make anything new just re-releasing same sets- i won't buy giant Slave 1 because of new Bossk minifig- and where are all ughnaughts??

I'm just wondering that it looks like that lego co. is probably planning a POTC-theme - all these new lines first return of the pirates (long awaited if you ask me ) and now underwater people with guys who really resembles Davy Jones and his crew. Still i'm disappointed to see how much this looks like Powerminers- lots of limegreen (this time glasses are green ) and orange is just replaced with Bright red. Still i love that trident part and atlanteans are ok- i will probably buy that tiny set with Mantaguy and a rock with seaweed- i don't have that sort of plant yet . Maybe i will also buy that smaller set with sharkguy i dunno maybe if i have enough money...

Thanks- You mean those two on Youtube right- which one is better you think- i like more of the newer one with official Indy myself. Doing those took some time you know but it was great fun And yeah strange that there are no "Swashbucklers" well good for me
