I fear that Davy Jones will not be made- he is not in 4th pirates i believe... but we'll pretty definitely get Barbossa, Gibbs and Blackbeard... and Penelope Cruz in lego But i hope they'll release sets from all movies and i really want to see Davy Jones with rubbery face and removable scissor hand and crab leg but i afraid there is no way to make skeletonpirates from COTBP....

OMG my dream came true- i love potc i love legos potc legos- yippee - i just fixed my Black Pearl's bow- Jack looks excellent- i hope his hat is removable- he could have been darker though but anyway he is almost just like he should be

You're right it's bit stubby but actual Pearl has pretty stubby bow.... perhaps i can move the frontsection of the keel little bit forward.. making front less stubby...i am not sure if structures allow it though ...

Yeah it looks cluttered in pics but actually i made my best to avoid cluttery look- i didn't just throw pieces here and there... most of the wrecks are actually attached to base plate with most weirdest techniques i've ever invented

Not again! I hate the fact that always when talking about Star Wars we sooner or later end up into "Originals versus prequels -scenario" Damn it- they are all part of same saga- there is no need to compare them... it's like comparing liquorice to chocolate- someone likes both of them someone hates another.... you cannot compare them i would say (and i like both- chocolate is better though ) ok that was your opinion- i disagree -no need to argue any further.... I just think enhancements are good thing- Lucas should enhance both trilogies- unfortunately nothing can correct that bad acting and directing in prequels (it's not scriptwriting i think it's directing) some of those enhancements in OT were unecessary and odd (like Greedo shooting first it didn't change the outcome) but some were definitely needed (Emperor- original was so bad ) but i'm just that perfectionist that i would like to see all movie mistakes corrected if possible And about that piece well... you're right ...but i think one "Wedge" is enough for this X-wing

Good points there- but seems that i cannot get into peeron right now so i cannot check the cargohold piece is there any other pictures i don't know what piece it is- i know those wings though- and i have them- i considered them but i needed them elsewhere- that's why i used those... and i have actually seen a white lego stardestroyer...somewhere... Lucas should really correct those little mistakes with CGI- that would make old battles even better - shouldn't be too hard since he already changed some scenes quite a bit... anyway thanks for good points i may use some ideas but not right now- perhaps my X-wing give someone ideas to build a perfect one

Thanks for constructive critisism most of that was just like i though too but i couldn't solve the problems so i let them be because they weren't that big- first of all i cannot build perfect X-wing because lego didn't ever make one - i am not happy with cockpit for example it's not accurate- and so are the engines (thats why those sizeproblems- lego engines and wings don't match perfectly I actually used very same schematics -and i disagree about the lasers- they are almost exactly as long as they should be (very near at least)- and as you pointed out lego bricks have that weakness that you cannot build all shapes exactly right like hexagonal nose so i made compromises and used design inspired by TLG:s official hoth X-wing... And I'm not happy with landing gear either but i couldn't find a way to make it come from boosters- and not make it removable- i wanted it to be part of X-wing instead of being additional part (how can you land if you need to build landing gear when in flight? cargo space was not good because i lacked parts for it- legos official has too big cargo hold and it was white... X-wings in movies are almost white but so are Stardestroyers (and Ties in ep4) they just don't look good as white (plus on hoth frost made them look even more white) And at last as good as those old models in OT are- they have problems in movies itself- so no one cannot build exact model- for example i noticed that red stripe is quite a big continuity error in Ep4 especially in Luke's X-wing.... it is complete long stripe when he leaves the hangar, complete when he flies with red squadron, complete when he attacks Death Star... but then suddenly during the Trench run it is discontinuous and parted in two sections.... and after battle is continuous again.... In ESB it's discontinuos though... but this is Wedge's so i didn't care of that stripe and i made it complete... It's because the set was from ep5 and in ep5 Wedge is designated Rogue3 so they thought he was also Red 3 at the time... but in battle of Yavin he was red 2, biggs was red 3... but star wars has infamous errors in movies about designations (like Red leader saying gold five to be gold leader and Wedge gives orders to green leader in ep6 and calls him red 2 )

I would need more X-wings and I don't have so much parts... but i would love to do whole squadron...

Yes exactly those i want to see too... but also naboo bp (with Padmé!), 501st (ep3 clone) bp with airborne/sniperlike armor, jedi bp with jedi of different species, few humans, maybe rodian/mon calamari... or some new aliens(?) mandalorian bp from TCW- with Death Watch members and Viszla (with new boba fett mold but death watch colors)... endor rebel bp -or bounty hunter bp (?) from TCW (?) Or those cool clones from geonosis episodes of TCW and Arf-troopers we need ARF's... and clone swamp troopers.... da*n it TLG should do at least dozen new bp:s

I think we will see Aurra(i hope so at least) -without antennae- but with ponytail- it took over ten years before rebel pilots get their big orange glasses and those are much bigger than little antennae - die hard fans can try to customize it if that's so important but i don't think it is.... still rebels are lacking microphone and thats about same thing as lacking antennae - also lego bane has too big breathing thingy- Aurra cannot be much worse... And Jayfon has clone head i believe- didn't old commandos had them too (never get any- venator was sooo overpriced)... that is soooo dumb they should but plain black head instead it is specifically said that those guys aren't clones ... and TLG adds clone heads to add confusion among younger fans.... What- are you guys seriously talking about that senate commando captain- is he Jayfon or not ?- no -he is just legofig with similar armor it doesn't really matter if he is named in the box or not.... but i don't understand why they named Zev Senesca in bp instead of that as clear Major Derlin there.... Oh now i know- that officer is supposedly unnamed rebel officer in trenches not Derlin... i confused these two because of moustache

I think Ahsoka is having visions of Aurra Sing's "death" but Aurra is alive and well and want to revenge :pir-skull: ... and Ahsoka will not die in this season I'm sure ... actually i think they come up with another solution for her maybe she leaves the orders completely....

Official lego models are never mindblowing - but i don't get it why everyone hate those wheels they are much more accurate than old spacey ones.... Midi one couldn't have figs and those are great in this set ... but too bad that they left out that planned tactical droid figure ....

This is sweet- i want this so badly - the wheels are more accurate than they were in the old one (that i never get) and Aayla is such a cute new minifig excellent job TLG... Bane is good too but something is wrong with his face though I dunno TLG can't make good TCW-villains... that huge neck thing is also bad he has only those breathing tubes and thing behind his head-but this one has huge thing all over his neck looks odd and inaccurate... if i'll get this i probably remove that thingy and add decal instead...he already has parts of those tubes patterned there why they even did that part?

Grievous isn't best possible but not as bad as it could have been (i hope that priting is in it's place when i will buy this set... i don't want crosseyed Grievous fig.... ) I never get the old white bad Grievous so maybe i can get this... His arms however are oddly attached but i think i know how to mod them .... His eyes are bit too big though.... and Nahdar too- wow better way to get Mon Calamari than Ackbar's flagship set... doctor droid should have been red though- like it was in the episode...

Thanks for the review but this is definitely not a set worth of it's prize- especially since i have old Snowspeeder and bp:s Wampa isn't that bad that i first thought but i don't have much use for wampa anyway - i want Rancor from ROTJ TLG has to do it if they are really going to end licence next year- i want rancor
