LEGO Technic 42147 - C Model - Road Grader
I have recently designed and built another C model, using LEGO Technic set 42147, this is a fully functional model of a road grader. Given the limit parts I had, I am very happy with how this has turned out. First and foremost, the design and building process was enjoyable and given the limited parts, some decisions needed to be made around what features were included. These are: - Hand of God steering, via the grey knob on the front of the road grader. - Blade lifting and lowering, via the black gear on the side. One thing I did struggle with was getting the blade to stay up, what I ended up doing was adding a beam from near the rear wheels which locks this in to place via the gear inside the main body. I was hoping to add the rear rippers but ran out of parts. I am very happy with how this turned out and and it another model to add to me 42147 C model collection.

Review: LEGO Technic Skid-Steer Loader / Bobcat (C Model of set 42150)
The LEGO Technic Skid-Steer Loader / Bobcat (C Model of set 42150) is an impressive construction set that offers an engaging building experience. Designed to replicate the iconic Bobcat skid-steer loader, this set captures the essence of the real machine in a miniature form. The designer (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-135271/Larsagri/42150-skid-steer-loader-with-stone-cutter-and-fork-lift/#details) has done an excellent job to design this, using only the parts from set 42150. Building the LEGO Technic Skid-Steer Loader / Bobcat is a satisfying and enjoyable process. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, guiding you through the assembly of the model step by step. It is equipped with a stone cutter and a fork lift attachment. Given the limited part count, some interesting solutions have been used, this includes the hydraulic cylinders are realized by axles and perpendicular connectors. The pull-back motor is used as a weight in the rear of the Skid-Steer Loader / Bobcat. In terms of aesthetics, the LEGO Technic Skid-Steer Loader / Bobcat captures the essence of the real machine. The classic white and black color scheme, coupled with the iconic Bobcat look, adds authenticity to the model. The proportions and overall design are well-executed, making it instantly recognizable as a Bobcat skid-steer loader. As with any LEGO Technic set, the Skid-Steer Loader / Bobcat offers ample opportunities for customization and modification. I plan to design and build some different attachments for this in the near future. In conclusion, the LEGO Technic Skid-Steer Loader / Bobcat (C Model of set 42150) is an outstanding set that delivers a rewarding building experience and an impressive range of functions. With its attention to detail, mechanical features, and authentic design, it's an excellent choice for both Technic enthusiasts and fans of construction vehicles. Whether you enjoy the building process or playing with the finished model, the LEGO Technic Skid-Steer Loader / Bobcat will provide hours of entertainment.

LEGO Technic 42147 - B Model Excavator Review
I am a big fan of LEGO Technic set 42147, I have built a number of C models based on this set. Recently I decided to build the B model of this set, which is an excavator. The LEGO Technic 42147 B model is a prime example of the ingenuity and craftsmanship that LEGO enthusiasts have come to expect from the Technic series. As a proud owner of this set, I am impressed by the level of detail and complexity achieved in its design, given the small part count. This review aims to shed light on the remarkable features of this model. First and foremost, the B model's build quality is outstanding. The precision and accuracy with which each piece fits together is a testament to LEGO's commitment to excellence. From the moment you begin constructing this model, it becomes clear that it is has been well thought out. The mechanisms and mechanisms are engineered to perfection, providing a satisfying building experience. The functionality of the B Model is truly impressive. This LEGO Technic set is capable of mimicking the movements of a real-life vehicle. Whether it's driving forwards and backwards, executing tight turns, or lifting and dumping a load, the B Model offers an authentic and engaging play experience. Furthermore, the attention to detail in the design is surprising for a B model. These details not only contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal but also enrich the playability and functionality of the model. The construction instructions provided by LEGO are clear, concise, and easy to follow. The step-by-step guide ensures a smooth building process, allowing builders of varying skill levels to assemble the B model without any significant hurdles. Additionally, the set comes with extra pieces, which is always appreciated by LEGO enthusiasts, as it allows for creative customization or acts as a safety net in case a piece is misplaced. As with any LEGO Technic set, the B model is not without its challenges. Some sections of the build require careful attention to detail and precise alignment, which may pose a slight difficulty for younger or less experienced builders. However, overcoming these challenges is part of the enjoyment of constructing LEGO Technic sets, and the sense of accomplishment upon completing the model is immeasurable. In conclusion, the LEGO Technic 42147 B model is well worth purchasing just to be able to build the B model. Its impeccable build quality, impressive functionality, and attention to detail make it a must-have for LEGO Technic enthusiasts and collectors alike. With its well thought-out features, the B model truly stands out as a testament to the endless possibilities that LEGO Technic offers.

LEGO Technic 42147 - 8x4 - Tipper Truck - Mini Review
I have been a big fan of LEGO Technic set 42147 and have built a few different C models from this. Recently I came across this C model, which is built by using two copies of LEGO Technic 42147. It has been designed by "technicprojects" (https://rebrickable.com/users/technicprojects/mocs/) It has two main features. The first one is the hand of god steering which is controlled by the black knob on top of the cabin. The second is the rear body can be tilted back and dumped, this is also controlled by a black knob which is on the side of the rear chassis. I have recently become a bit of a fan of these smaller entry level LEGO Technic sets, I think for the price and piece count, they represent excellent value. I found the building process for this to be quite enjoyable, there's a wide variety of parts and the whole process from start to finish is really well thought-out. One thing that I did notice however was that step 45 is actually done in step 44, this had me confused for a while and I thought I had missed something. The rear lifting is also not very strong and feels a bit unstable when it is raised fully. This is something I will be fixing when I make some mods to this model. Overall I am quite a fan of this set, it has two really well thought-out and functional features, it looks good and for a cost of $30, it is good value.
