I have found a problem with the white horse in my set. It seems like every time I move it around, its head seemed to rattle. I compared this to the brown horses from my Lord of Rings sets and their heads were more fixed in place. Have anyone else come across this issue?

I didn't get to Brickvention this year but my friends went (as one would when u have a Lego fanatic as a friend :P) They thoroughly enjoyed the event and thought it was in a good location. Best thing is I think they all grew to love and appreciate Lego that much more. Thank you very much to the event organisers!

Finally got a Forest Maiden! My friend bought me two bags that she randomly picked - one was the Cyclops and the other the Forest Maiden. Maybe the trick is not to look too hard and just plain luck :P

I got them (turtle & squirrel) for $5 each at Kmart in VIC, great little sets I love them! I've been waiting for this as well :-( Thanks lightningtiger, I wish we have a Toy Corner in VIC. I have shop online with them and was happy with their customer service.

I agree on the rarity of Forest Maiden. I went through three opened boxes today - found none of her. I want just one to stand next to my poor lonely Forest Man :P I did find the fortune teller and the actress which I was after.

I haven't bought any Friends sets before but today I spotted the Lego Friends Animals Series 1 in the shop so I bought the turtle and the squirrel. I'm glad I did, they're both very cute and also affordable! I look forward to Series 2, especially the hedgehog.

Wow that's a great deal for the Town Hall 'glendo' Based on jonwil's report of Town Hall also appearing at DJ in Perth, I gave it another try at DJ Melbourne CBD. This morning, I rang up and got a wonderful sales person who knew exactly what I was talking about and told me they have got in the Town Hall and put one aside for me. I went to pick it up at lunch, and yes it was full price, but I have put money aside for it DJ Melbourne CBD now have all the Grand Emporium, Pet Store and also Town Hall on the shelf.

It was a couple of weeks ago actually, 5887 Dino Defense HQ is now in my possession..... Lego + Dinosaurs (though I really don't know how it's going to fit in with the other sets....ah wellllllllll)

Sadly (as per past experiences), the sales person has no idea what I was talking about and no modular set on display either. The last time I managed to get the Grand Emporium I had to drive all the way to Chadstone (aka the burb). Hmmm......it's looking like I should be getting the Town Hall..... I wish TLG gives the modular building exclusive to Myer instead, at least they are well-stocked most of the time....

Thank you very much 'slopemodified' for the free shipping news for shop@home :-) I now am in a dilemma....I am tossing up between the Town Hall modular versus the Haunted House and can only get one set at this stage so I will try to get the one that might be of limited availability here. Is there any news about which store might get either set as exclusive? I'm thinking the Town Hall will go to DJ, which in the past has been ridiculous about the amount of stock they end up with. Many thanks!

Thank you for the info lightningtiger I do think it's quite lovely too and can definitely see it in my little town, but the price is putting me off a bit (I thought it would be the same as S@H).
