patje thats the kind of inspiration I was looking for I hope to eventually have a layout like that. Awesome. Tony the polar express looks incredible. Its alot more than Im ready for now but definately incredible.

Im already trying to plan a lego display for under the Christmas tree using the toy shop and bakery and some type of train. I know lego made a christmas train but I dont want to pay the prices those are going for so I would like to use the emerald night as a starting point and just make it a little more festive. Does any one have any pictures of trains they have built with the winter/ holiday theme to give me some inspiration?

Ive had my emerald night and for a while now and im just getting the money together for track to go around our christmas tree. I plan on buying the rc track not the flexible. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the inside diameter of a track built with only 16 curves is? Also what is the length of the straight pieces? Im trying to make sure I order enough to go around our tree skirt.

I learned something new. The lego store will ship direct from there store. I didnt get free shipping because of it but I was able to order two sets.

Im fairly new to legos and from talking to the woman from legos customer service saying I couldnt order it I figured it was like the advent calender when there gone there gone. The ebay auctions I see also say its been discontinued.

is it still available on the euro lego shop? People are already selling them on ebay for $100

I just tried to order the winter toy shop and its out of stock lego customer service said they dont show a date of when it will be in stock again. I hope I dont miss out on this set Im still upset that I missed the holiday train. Anyone have any info on if they will be restocking.
