You are not wrong because the Lego official stores in Germany do expect several of the Pirates sets ( but not all ) to be available for us as from 16.12.2014.

Fully agree with Nicker, especially having the SW fans so indulged with the recent release of Ewok Village.

Also for Germans: in REAL there are some sets with reduced prices: Helm's Deep - 30 euro down to approx 110 euro. Mines of Moria - 12 euro down to approx 58 euro Bag End is the only set, so far available, fm the Hobbit's series and now on X-mas price: 69,95 euro ( 10 euro discount ) which can be seen as a bargain, comparing to the prices in the toy shops around.

So, I just visited our Lego store and got the Christmas Lego catalog, where the Hobbit sets are listed. I really find the pricing on the EU market odd. 79000 - 105 pcs - 12,99 euro 79001 - 298 pcs - 29,99 euro 79002 - 400 pcs - 59,99 euro 79003 - 652 pcs - 79,99 euro 79004 - 334 pcs - 49,99 euro 79010 - 841 pcs - 99,99 euro So I"ll again have to wait travelling to USA in order to buy that sets on more or less normal prices, or to wait the 20% off in TRU. Sad, but true.....

Enjoying playing chess and being fan of Lego, I would like to see a LOTR giant chess set ( similar to 852293-1: Castle Giant Chess Set ) Did I hear anybody saying being not worth for army building?

During the weekend I was in Luebeck. Series 6 are available in MyToys - 2,49e/pc. Series 5 were there on sale - 1,20e/pc, which is a bit worse than in TRU offering 10 pcs for 10 euro.

My opinion is that apart of Kingdoms Joust there will be no more Castle/Kingdoms sets in 2012. However as long as LOTR/Hobbit wave is running, I dare to guess that still Lego will not forget the Castle/Kingdoms fans and in next forecoming years will flatter us with an exclusive set. My personal wishes would be as follows: 2013 - A mountain Taverna Inn with lots of landscape, greenery, well and new animals - bear (fm the City sets), rocky goats ( well known fm Mill Village Raid) and some wolves. 2014 - A fortification under siege with siege towers( 2pcs), long ladders and battling ram, which perhaps can be the connection with the sets for year 2015, when I would like to see the Black Falcons in full power. Today is Christmas, so I'll make a wish. Cheers and happy celebrations.

I fully agree with my compatriot. In the end of the day the dream of many of us became true. And there is no doubt that LEGO, knowing quite well what are the expectations for this theme, will do their best to create an amazing world, full of action and scenes with great playability. And certainly the AFOLs can give LEGO good suggestions for realizing them in awesome sets. Hope the abundance of scenes, heroes, landscape, battlefields will become a new ERA in Lego's history, which, let's hope, will last for long time and many waves.......
