  1. I'm not sure I like the cyclops. I can't not see his eye socket as a mouth... Maybe I've been too trained by the dinoman, the bunnyman and the atlantis monsters? Steve
  2. Pretty neat. I love the miniland scenes. Steve

Here's my entry. Actually its from last years Forbidden Cove pirate santa contest, that I never got around to making. Its been sitting on my shelf for almost a year... Steve
  4. They wouldn't even have had to do anything with it later, but it would have been an interesting little mystery. Like the Face of Boe. Steve
  5. I'm digging the Fang and the Skyhawk. I'm going to have to steal those designs. Steve
  6. They did the mash! They did the Monster Mash! When you get to my gallery, tell them Athos sent you; Then you can mash, you'll do the monster mash; (The Monster Mash) And do my graveyard smash; (The Monster Mash) You'll catch on in a flash; Then you can mash; Do the monster mash. Steve

There is a misprinted ad that lists this set for $39.00 at Walmart during the week of Oct. 21. So you may be able to snag this for 60% off. Steve

I really like the double bay garage. Steve

Very nice. I'm always impressed by MOCs that use rounded walls. My only suggestion would be to put tiles or plates all over the floor. The uneven ground doesn't look quite right to me. But I do really like the pattern you have created. Is this based on a real place? Steve
  10. So, is the general consensus that the Krabby-Patty thing is a sandwich of some sort? My three year old wanted to know. And her grandmother and aunt didn't think it was a sandwich. Steve
  11. These sets and figures look pretty goofy. Steve
  12. Quite honestly, I forgot about the guns on the front and the carrots were the only solution I could come up with that didn't involve tearing it all apart and starting over... Steve
  13. Having established air superiority, the Joes bring out the artillery, with the armored HAVOC: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37777874@N06/8095742651/ Including the support hover-craft: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37777874@N06/8095742415/ Cross-County, Dusty and Lady Jaye stand-by to take the fight to Cobra: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37777874@N06/8095747432/ And, as this is a less iconic vehicle, the inspiration: http://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/86/havoc/ Steve
  14. Destro arrives on scene in the Cobra flight pod known as the Trouble-Bubble: http://www.flickr.co...N06/8087811993/ But G.I. Joe is ready, as Ace takes to the skies in his trusty Skystriker: http://www.flickr.co...N06/8087813073/ Steve
  15. That's correct. I just got series 8. So, that means someone should be leaking series 9 soon. Steve
  16. Leaked pictures of the next series have (all but one time) always come out shortly after I manage to snag a set of the current figures. And I got my set Monday. So the pictures should be imminent. Steve
  17. I couldn't decide which forum this would fit in. Licensed? Action? Town? Other Themes? But in any event, I present: Brick Improved Joe... well more accurately, Cobra... I've been watching the old GI Joe cartoons on some dish station at night and was inspired to try my hand at MOCing something other than structures. Here's what I've come up with so far: Cobra's Primary Fighter, the Rattler: http://www.flickr.co...N06/8078258640/ And Cobra's Primary Heavy Armor Tank, the Hiss: http://www.flickr.co...N06/8078267173/ And the whole slithery gallery: Steve
  18. I didnt expect this... It snuck up on me... just like a ninja... Steve
  19. I'm looking for a complete set of the Dinohunter figures. I'd also like a ninjago figure or two with the snake tails. I'd also like a forest police hat or two. And a bear. I've got some new ewoks I can part with. As well as the new Jabba and Gammorean Guard and Bib Fortuna (if you're willing to wait a few weeks). I also have a bunch of micro figures from both Rameses games. I'd like to stick with US only, so as to save on international shipping hassles. Steve
  20. Don't forget the perennial favorite: the Red Ghost. And there is a yellow ghost, of which I was unaware... Steve
  21. Except for the ghost... Though maybe the witch can stand in for the ghost? Steve
  22. Any chance of getting all the photos/chapters put in once place/post, so we don't have to sift through 40 pages of replies, looking for photos? Steve
  23. I would be shocked if it was based on the Trinidad myths. Seems way too esoteric for a successful line. Have anyone you heard of Chima before this post? Sounds vaguely Asian to me. Steve
  24. Some ideas, which have probably been done already: Rivendell: includes Aragorn and Boromir; two statutes holding the shards of Narsil on an altar (nice excuse to get a broken sword piece); throw in a couple of arches/trees for background Watcher in the Water: a cave with the door; includes Frodo (or Merry if you prefer the book version, as I do) and Gandalf; watcher in the lake Cracks of Doom: stairway to an archway; through the archway is a little bridge and platform over a red lava baseplate; includes Sam (in a nod to the books with pots to throw in a hole so Gollum can't get them), Frodo and Gollum Any of these could be done well at a $20 - $30 price point Steve
