I really like the pyramid. And those Anubis guys make great statues. Steve

    My Xmas decoration: Steve
  3. I bet this has been discussed in another thread somewhere... but anyway... I would have rather had it both ways. I think it would have been cool to have JR be a part of JT's universe. And it still can be in your own play, but an official connection (like an older JT figure) would have been a nice nod to the original adventurer. Steve
  4. The figures really remind me of the '80s GI Joe characters. Steve
  5. I'm a little unclear on how a community build works. Do several people get together in person to build a MOC? (I assume this must be how it works). Steve
  6. I am so very horribly disappointed that the guitar is a sticker. Almost completely ruins the set for me. Dark Blue 2x4
  7. These really remind me of the GI Joe movie. Cobra-La anyone? Steve
  8. What was with that color question? Steve What was with that color question? Steve
  9. What was with that color question? Steve
  10. That was a really goofy solution. I thought a much better way of ending that would have been that Martha's traveling and talking about the Doctor would have ingrained such respect and reverence for the Doctor in the human race that they would never had agreed to side with the Master. Steve
  11. Its on sale (or it was) for 10% off on amazon... Steve
  12. Check out Yellowstone: http://johnny-thunder.blogspot.com/ And check back in a few days for the Grand Tetons. Steve
  13. Hillarious. Robbing brains from the rich... Steve

I really like the offsetting on the walls here. I'm going to steal that. *snicker* *snicker* Steve
  15. The door caught in the explosion is a great touch. It really adds to the action of the scene. Is Black Bort a Simpson's reference? Steve
  16. Sounds exciting. Steve
  17. What horse? Steve
  18. How is the skull done? Steve
  19. Sure! I thought about that, but it made him too black. Steve
  20. This white-washed for marks the end of the pioneer trail to the west: Walk around the walls to get the full respect due to this imposing structure. Now, before anyone claims this is not a wild-west town, an aerial view will show that, inside the walls, is a bustling town. Each building opens up to show the interior. First, an essential for the long nights on the untamed frontier, inside the walls"]the distellry[/url] makes spirits from the still. And, after a night of drinking too much whiskey, check in at the infirmary for treatment. Once you've had a bit of the hair of the dog, hurry off to the blacksmith to get your tools repaired. Don't stay too long though, that hammering is murder on your headache. Stop off at the fort store to get your supplies. Then its off to the guard towerfor guard duty. Don't forget to grab your rifle from the armory below. (Both towers are the same and both have armories below). Ah, lunch time, better check in at the kitchen to see what's cooking. Blast, Cookie hasn't even got the pot-bellied stove fired up yet. Guess you'll have to settle for a carrot. Uh-oh, the boss wants to see you in his office. Whew, looks like he's busy. Better get back to work and maybe he'll forget about you. If you do a good job, you might get invited to dinner in the dining room... and, if not, maybe you'll have dinner in the cell. Someone left a lamp burning, better put it out so you don't waste oil. Say... what's that Mr. Marshall has found has found? Probably just a shiny rock... For more photos, check out the rest of the gallery. At the beginning, I said this was based on a real fort; the MOC was inspired by Sutter's Fort in Sacramento CA. If you're interested, do a google images search and you can compare the MOC to its inspiration. Steve
  21. The last pony express rider arrives in town. The impressive feat of carrying mail across the continent in ten days has been rendered obsolete by the telegraph. The flickr gallery is here. Steve
  22. The lonely cowboy makes a grueling crossing of the desolate desert. The figure is inspired by Rooster Cogburn from the True Grit remake. I really like the graduate's gown for a long western coat: You can check out the set here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37777874@N06/sets/72157627363138867/ Steve
  23. Huckleberry Finn and Jim ride down the Mississippi River on their raft: Huck catches a fish for dinner while Jim steers the boat away from the shoals. Steve

The young squire gets his first lesson in dragon-slaying: Steve
  25. He's probably gotten me beat with three years. I only played with it once, about a year ago. And the staggering really gives it a nice look. Its a pity they don't make tan flags, I bet it would make a super cool thatched roof. Steve
