I was at the library picking out books for my kids and came across the book on the shelf. So I checked it out and re-read it again. Steve

Viva [Microscale] Las Vegas
After seeing a few designs in a lego book (I can't remember the title at the moment and don't feel like getting up to look on the bookshelf) I decided to do up a microscale Las Vegas. Here are the results, so far: Click on the picture for more locations... Steve

The Little Prince
Here are a series of little MOCs I did of the LIttle Prince: It is only with a click that you can see rightly, what is essential is invisible in this thread... That means the photo is a link to the gallery... Steve

Miniland Comicon
Two years ago, my LUG (Utah LUG) did a display at the Salt Lake ComicCon. At the last minute, I threw together a little (only 2 baseplates) miniland version of the event. ll the cosplayers liked seeing the miniland versions of themselves. The following year, I expanded it to 18 baseplates, with about 100 figures and created my own scavenger hunt, where I tried to get pictures of as many cosplayers and their counterparts as I could. Recently, after playing the Lego LotR and Marvel games, I've been inspired to create more figures and am working to expand it to 36 baseplates. You can see some of the more recent (and some of the old) figures here. And now there is a group shot of all [approximately] 160 of them: The picture is a link... I'd like to hear suggestions (and maybe design suggestions) for some more figures. Steve

I think Lotso looks more evil than sad. Maybe more like a mugger than a beggar... Steve

2015 Ninjago Diorama
I was expecting, since it was Ninjago, a pretty lame MOC. But you've sure blown my expectations out of the water. Great landscaping all around. Steve

Gear Substitution Help
I don't think I've ever posted here before… But I need some help. Is there another part that can be used in place of this gear? I'm trying to build the Fairground Mixer from spare parts and it calls for that gear. I thought I had one, but it does not look like I really do... Steve

Egypt Layout
I think I'm just going to use 32x32 baseplates and put some reeds along the shore and some crocodiles. I want to put the Adventurer river ship plying along the water. Steve

Do you think you could build this with spare parts? Or are there any particularly rare parts used in it? Steve

Egypt Layout
Here are some pictures of an Egyptian themed layout I did for a display with ULUG at a train show. Picture is a link... I'm thinking about, once I get more baseplates, doubling the size and putting the Nile in the front. Steve
