Brickslopes 2014
For all of you who didn't make the event, here are some photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/37777874@N06/sets/72157644108124809/ We had 5000 paying adults (not counting their kids under 9 and since this was SLC, there were a lot of kids) come view the creations. Super talented builders were showcased. Two master builders were in attendance. Prizes galore were awarded, with most registered attendees receiving at least three. I think this could become the big event for those of us living in the mountain west (I'm looking at you Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Utah (obviously), Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming). I'm practically gushing about how great it was. And, its not my first con, so don't think I'm just a hyperactive newbie... Steve

minifigure - fan's choice?
They did do a poll a little while back for kind of a special re-release of the previous figures. And then based on that poll, they gave us this mess, which really feels like they just ignored the poll and threw whatever stuff they had leftover into a box. That's about as close to your idea as they've came. Classic-castle has a massive thread of all the suggestions and fulfilled suggestions, if you want to see how many ideas people have had. Steve

Alice in Miniland
Thanks all! They're really easy. If you look closely at some examples, you can figure it out. Or there is a guide in the Unofficial Lego Builders Guide. Alice is a bit more complicated, as I've SNOT'd her dress. But once you get that figured out, you can SNOT out all kinds of dresses. Steve
