  1. I bought a 41999 today at the LEGO shop in Milton Keynes. I live in London and on Saturday I phoned around LEGO shops in and near London. They had some at the Milton Keynes shop, and reserved one for me to collect today. When I phoned the London Westfield shop, the guy I spoke to said something about them getting some 41999s delivered on Tuesday the 13th (tomorrow) and to try phoning them at about 12 noon to reserve one. I opted for the Milton Keynes shop since they actually had them in stock when I phoned. Anyone in or near London who wants a 41999 could try phoning the London Westfield shop tomorrow. I don't know how reliable the info was that the guy at Westfield gave me, but it's worth a try phoning them.

Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the stickers that Argos love to stick on all their LEGO sets? Is there perhaps some way to soften the adhesive before removing the stickers so as not to rip off large chunks of the box?
  3. I'm stunned that this set has sold out in only a few days. I thought 20,000 copies would last a few weeks. I was holding off on buying it because I was waiting for the free mini VW camper van offer next month. It wouldn't surprise me if large numbers of this set were bought by scalpers. There are already plenty of copies turning up on ebay at three times the original price.
  4. I see that the Battle of Endor is already discontinued in the UK: 8038 on legoshop.com "Sorry, item is not available in this country: United Kingdom." That's disappointing, as I was thinking of buying it next year. Now I suppose I'll have to buy it from ebay or Bricklink with their extortionate prices. (That must be a record for a Star Wars set. Only available for about six months and already discontinued.)
