Depends on your application of the part. If it is decorations, you could get away with regular resins. Gears and drive trains, you could use something stronger. There are ABS-like tough resins available. They are kind of pricey.

A mice got into the house. It liked the CAT5e network cable near the LEGO. It didn't seem to go for the hard ABS pieces. I think soft LEGO flexible tubings could be at risk if left out.

Maybe someone with jaundice would be yellowish in real life. One can always pretend that yellow can be whatever one's imagination desires, assuiming one has an imagination to begin with.

You could tape the lids of those large plastic storage boxes to keep the bugs out. But if you're set on taping the LEGO boxes, that's fine too. It's your stuff. They also make plastic boxes with a gasket to keep air/moisture/dust/bugs out. I use them for storing 3D printer filaments.

Cockroach excrements have a distinct aroma. If you can smell it on your LEGO boxes, then you may have some unwelcomed visitors. Depending on the species of cockroaches you have, they may or may not be able to crawl through tiny gaps in your box flaps. I suppose you could wrap your boxes with plastic food film or cling wrap to protect them.

LEGO has mucho money and would make a good target for lawsuits. LEGO recenlty re-molded their Technic Control+ hub to have screws. Now we have to unscrew the case to get to the batteries. Kids will be kids. We had one kid at an event came up, grabbed a large LEGO wheel, and shoved the whole thing in his mouth with his parents watching. We were dumbfounded. Liability insurance seems like a necessity these days for train clubs.

I think large companies have liability lawyers to nix those product ideas. Small businesses may not have the resources and policies to run things through the legal department first. There is no EULA with LEGO sets that you can't add your own magnetic couplers after purchase.

Maybe contact a local Korean LEGO User Group (LUG). They may have members who like to buy LEGO in bulk. The easy everything must go way is to price it by the kilogram, have them come and pick it up. You don't get as much for it as compared to sorting it out into sets and pricing each accordingly.

Nice. How did you do the contacts from the PF socket to the Dupont connectors?

You can find files on places like Thingiverse.com. Search on LEGO train. Every printer and plastic filament is a bit different. It'll take some trial and error to find the best settings for your slicer. Happy printing.

The cells could be worn and don't have the same mAh as when new. Or they could be out of balance. Fully charged 2S battery should be at 8.4 volts.

Maybe something with CNC process steps to draw out the image file? -Have the computer convert the image file to a vector based image. -Generate GCODE drawing paths from the vector image. -Send to the GCODE to EV3. -Have the EV3 parse the GCODE to command the servo motors in moving the pen on a piece of paper. If you can get your EV3 to understand GCODE, then it could open the door to a whole bunch of other stuff like 3D print, laser engrave, drag knife cut vinyl decals...

Touch screen control can be a wonderful thing if my competitors of TechBall at AFOL conventions all use touch screen control for their robots.

Are you looking to use the PF IR remote or PF IR speed remote to control the GeekServos?

What kind of conversations between LUGs are you looking for? We attended Bricks in the Six this summer. They had in their program schedule a time slot for LUG execs to meet and talk about LUG things. They also held a mixer activity in the evening to mingle with other attendees. Does your LUG have shirts to wear to events and cons? It could be a way to identify yourselves. Brick badges are fun.

That looks ilke a fun activity for your LUG. How did you guys get the shopping mall to let your LUG do that?

I think somebody would have to go through the sets instructions and compile each user interface and devices required into a document.
