  2. Now it says: S@H USA & Canada - Coming Soon on 21 Feb 2010 Rest of the world is still 26th Feb
  3. Wow very nice I want! The 8051 looks alot like the 8420! Just looks like it's got more bling
  4. Germany and EU and Australia all say "Coming Soon on 26 Feb 2010" W00t Im gonna order from S@H USA
  5. I think it's because the stock for S@H Aust and NZ comes from Denmark or Germany so I think they need to rip us off by doing that.
  6. I'd love to see that as well. Lego Shop in Sydney. Dont forget when you order form S@H Australia they charge your Credit Card in DNK so you'll be charged cross border and muti-currency fees. Not to mention the already inflated prices.
  7. Cheaper to import over here from the US

  10. South Australia. I bought the silver champ from them a few months ago. Top work they are, they respond to emails pretty quickly and ring you to confirm that you want the order etc..
  11. Hmmm Cheaper to buy from US S@H and have it shipped here or Buy from AU S@H? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I emailed Lego asking them if they could sell me the minifigs, but they said they cannot do that due to licensing issues. :( Now BL are selling them $2-3$ cheap ther than I got it for. :( Doh! Coulda saved $45 or so.

@Whittleberry Ahhh Printed to me sounds like printed media or printer stickers. Etched or engraved sound better to me. Oh well :D Anyways here are the dimensions of the instructions: Book 1: 20cm x 12.3cm - 26 grams Book 2: 28cm x 21.2cm - 141 grams Book 3: 27.3cm x 20.5cm - 121 grams Book 4: 13.3cm x 20cm - 21 grams Total weight of instuctions: 309 grams These numbers have been added to the first post.
  17. Very cool! Given me an idea of something Id like to make similar based on a real thing. :P
  18. INDEXED AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! Glad we have the new Lego City sets. Here is my review of the 3222 Set. Initial info: 38cm (l) x 26.5cm (h) x 7cm (w) 605 grams - Total 163 grams - Box Only Pieces? (Too tired to count them using the instructions) So this set was the cheapest of the main vehicles of the airport set. The Helicopter measures 33cm and from one end of the rotor to the other is also 33cm. The Limo measures 21 cm long. Took approx an hr with taking pictures in mind to build. The helicopter is pretty nice as it has spinning rear and top rotors. Again no landing gear inserts. The blue colour is nice and rich. Inside it looks slightly cramped but I guess it's the size is small so not much detail inside. Nothing really negative about the heli itself pretty much as I expected. Oh the tail part is a sticker! LEGO make up your mind! Sticker or no sticker for the tails! Geez! The limo is nice and long, it has 3 minifigs (driver, male and female passenger. It has what looks to be a DVD screen inside, tinted (black) rear and side windows. There are split doors for the passengers at the back which is a nice touch. The bad things about the limo is that the wheels look WAYYY too big for the car, it's like it has been pimped out with wide wheels! Would have liked to have clear windows for the passengers and the front driver. There is hardly any room inside the back for the two minifigs to do anything. But I guess it's a small car so yea. Anyways here are the pictures and some comments: Box Front: Box Rear: Contents: Book 1: Book 2: Stickers: Minifigs: I dont want to clog up the website so I'll just link my brickshelf page so people can see the images of the build. But here are some interesting pics: Top view of limo: Inside helicopter: Tail: Front: Heli: Final: I'd give it overall 3.9/5 Not my cuppa but interesing never the less. More pictures will be avaliable at brickshelf when they make the folder public: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=418203

The blue one looks slightly longer due to the extra door there. It's got nicer wings too. But being blue it kinda sucks. Makes it harder to make it QANTAS and whenever I think of planes some reason I think of QANTAS. Guess it's all those ads back in the day. With that song n all. Might make room now and build the terminal and the radar system. EDIT: Wow just finished building the airport and the radio tower! It was interesting. The airport had a lot of features. - Revolving door that actually turned, lights around the airport, security checkpoints, baggage xrays, a ticket counter with a computer, vending machine I think, radio antennas. There are way to many photos to link here so im just gonna post a few. The rest will go on brickshelf. Front of airport: Back of airport: Radio Tower: In summary overall as a whole the 3182 set is really awesome. It has so many componets and sections very fun to build. Initially after building the plane I was gonna give it 4/5 but now after building everything else Id give it 4.5/5. A must if you want to own an airport. Here is the combined image of the set:
