1570 Fabuland Character Polybag
Sorry for a slight off-topic, but I found some interesting pictures of old (80ties) hungarian fabuland bootlegs:

Your entire collection (sets only) when you were a kid
I usually got a little set when my parents were going to Hungary from Croatia to buy (smugle ) some cheap food in the 80ties. It was a big surprise because there was no way of knowing which sets will they have in the store. This is the lot (missing a little futuron 6830 and fabuland police motorcycle): I got the "big" sets like the plane, forestmen or stable for special occasions. I remember being very embarrassed upon getting the forestmen because I felt "too old" to play (I guess I was around 12). Notice a hungarian bootleg fabuland cow

Which set should I buy?
Exaclty the "problem" I have. I love LOTR, but think Orthanc is too monotone and in general not really a super cool set I would expect for that price. Also too expensive to get for completeness only. Perhaps I would get it anyway, but there's Ewok village - which is a Lothlorien forest waiting to happen... And I really like it. So, I think I'll go with the village, despite the fact that I'm not into SW.

Classic Space Restoration Project
The headless lady is equally bad as she was before - no additional color got lost. Unfortunatelly (or not), I've had no "good" yellowed minifigs for testing. I've also treated some pirate flags whose print remained jet black, but was't able to catch the (visible) difference in whiteness with my camera. The treated parts eg. horses looked considerably whiter afterwards than the horses I didn't treat (beacuse they didn't look at all yellow) - so there's white and there's White. Some parts were left out on the balcony for days (most of the time not in the direct sunlight though), and re-treated every once in while when the creme dried out...

Best explanation ever Since I use the creme, and don't actually dip the parts into the H_2 O_2 but rather just smear it over the problem area, I've really had absolutely no issues with destroyed parts, even after a long exposure this is a before and after for a horse and some other stuff (sorry for off topic)

Nice space sets. Before my time, I'm more of a futuron fan. I've used 12% hydrogen peroxide creme for yellowed white, gray, blue pieces and have had great results. Just leave the parts in the sun for a day or two. Even the printed parts were perfect (don't know about the gold). Use handgloves and keep away from the eyes.

Rufus's 375 Yellow Castle Restoration Project
The result looks very nice. Congratulations on a nice set. There are, as far as I know, three versions of the stickers, one from the 6075, e.g: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=496975 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=496976 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=496977 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=496978

Review: 6082 Fire Breathing Fortress
First class review! Especially since it was a MISB set. As for the set - I am one of those not-so-fond-of-dragon-knights people and prefer the classic castles - classic being: no giant dragon head sticking out of the wall , but I guess the set has its appeal .

2011 Kingdoms + US prices
noooooooooo... Horse is my all-time favorite LEGO part. It is what draws my LEGO fascination. Remodeling it would kill the attraction. (just like I hate the new Playmobil horses, and I loved the old ones). I also want new horse colors and don't really see the problem in producing them (dapple greys, palominos/buckskins/cremellos, nice diverse paints without indian markings, detailed print with white legs and white facial markings), but no new molds!

2011 Kingdoms + US prices
New sets look very promising. I'm looking forward to the goats, chickens and especially the new dark green barding - can't wait to see the details on that one .
