Help with your MOC
TechnicHead41 replied to Jim's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHello everybody ! I got a problem with my gearbox i have build today. Look at the first picture, you can see the green axle is the input and the red and blue are the outputs. In the first picture the red axle is selected to turn the red & blue axles the same way. In the next one it's selected to turn them opposite. Now ! heres the catch, the red axle has to be fixed and only the green input axle does the selecting between the two modes ??? Have been trying all day now with a lot of head scratching !!!!

[WIP] Cyberbug Mark II
TechnicHead41 replied to TechnicHead41's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThanks for your feedbacks. Well i dont think i can make it to walk any faster than this at the moment. I have thought about another leg geometry. but i have to test it first.. About the battery box, yes it's heavy. But i don't own a LIPO battery box a the moment they are to damn expensive, unless one of you have a cheap one with a charger ? So for the next few days i will do some more experiments.

[WIP] Cyberbug Mark II
TechnicHead41 replied to TechnicHead41's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYes thats true Horace. I have seen tons of videos on Youtube of different kind of walkers. But i don't think that the battery box is to heavy for my walker only speed. it's a little slow at the moment, but i can live with it so far. A video will be coming soon. when i have figured out to place the L motor in a better place.

[WIP] Cyberbug Mark II
TechnicHead41 replied to TechnicHead41's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYes a video and more picture will follow soon, as to the battery box. Yes it's a weight problem, but the L motor almost don't notice it. I had to ditch all the complicated gears setup and go back to a more direct drive for the legs. Have also installed a drivers seat.
