Land Rover Defender 110 - Sheepos
Ralf replied to nato8181's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSo, now i have the most parts together but some parts are nearly impossible to find. Does anyone know where i can find the "Light bluish grey Axle and pin connector angle 4"??? I think this part is very rare and i found it only in USA and some other countrys, but not in europe. I have 2 pieces but need 2 pieces more. If i don´t find them i still begin to build, the parts are only for the body.

Which Technic set do you plan on buying ?
Ralf replied to Freekysch's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling@Skriblez, the delivery costs to Norway are horrible, the last time i had one customer on eBay he must pay 30€ with DHL international!!! He was not happy about that, but what should i do........ nothing. I don´t know why it is so expensive but Norway is one of the most expensive countrys to deliver. What ever, so i deliver only to countrys where the costs are in a range of maximum 15€ for 5 kg. I think no one want to pay 30€.......... But look for yourself Norway is Zone 2: http://www.dhl.de/de...nden/paket.html FYI Sweden is the half price!!!

Flash Element for Power Functions Lights
Ralf replied to runekokholm's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling@runekokholm I forgot to say that i like your ideas of the flashing lights!!! Great.

Flash Element for Power Functions Lights
Ralf replied to runekokholm's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI like this feature of flashing lights so i have orderd now the 3mm flashing LEDs including resistors for 9V. I have asked the seller about the flashing frequenz he say it is 1 Hz this is perfect for the 1st test. So it is possible to build the LED in a very small Part. If i have finished the first one i will upload the pic. And the price is cheap 10 LEDs around 3$ P.S. I will build the parts that they look like an original Lego part!

Flash Element for Power Functions Lights
Ralf replied to runekokholm's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI think these parts never come to the market........ So i have to do my own creation with flashing LED and resistors, these parts are very small and easy to handle. In combination with the servo motor a good solution to flash left and right, also two flashing LED on top as warning lights. But the downside of this solution.......... it is not an original Lego part, but whatever....... P.S. Now i am building one prototype to connect it to the original accu box. (power consumption only 10 mAh for one LED (60 mAh / 6 pcs.), so if i use Sanyo Eneloops 2000 mAh they can flash roughly 70 h)

Remnants ... from a Studded Era
I agree the fixed angle parts are much more stable but if you want to construct something new these parts are perfect. For children these parts are not really an alternativ. But they are really nice for AFOL´s i think.

Remnants ... from a Studded Era
One of my favourite old parts are these: It would be perfect in some different colors (black and red). With this parts it´s possible to construct nearly all what you want and you can use every angle. Further more you can combinate them........ very nice parts but only in light grey available..... poor

Zorex-220 Orange Motorized Excavator
Ralf replied to Jurgen Krooshoop's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingIt´s a good idea and i think not very hard to implement. The moror is in the arm and so you need only some gimbal. But the socket for the clamp must be adjusted but it is possible. Unfortunatly i have no one of the clamp here so i would try this tomorrow.

Zorex-220 Orange Motorized Excavator
Ralf replied to Jurgen Krooshoop's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling@jantjeuh The ultimate 8043 is still on my to do list. I have buyed one from my neighbour for small money two weeks ago, but it is still only on stock here. At first i want to build the Defender 110 and later the 8043 (but im thinking about the color, orange or yellow?) Autum and winter ist long here and i have plenty of time to decide........

Land Rover Defender 110 - Sheepos
Ralf replied to nato8181's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYes you can use silicon spray but this is like glue and all the dirt, soil and fluffs adhere to the parts. I have used silicon also before, but with the teflon all my parts are free of dirt and fluffs because it is drying. If the parts are a little dirty after running outside i clean it with a little compressed air and all looks like new. Further i don´t spray it thick to the whole parts only some drops at every moving parts. I use a injection needle and so i can dose it very exactly. (Peviously i spray a little teflon from the spray can in a small cup and suck up with the injection) Removing of the teflon is no problem i clean the parts with a little bit of alcohol.

Land Rover Defender 110 - Sheepos
Ralf replied to nato8181's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingOne tip of my side, if you have very complexed gearboxes it´s useful to spray all working parts with clear dry teflon. (but not to much only a thin film!) With this method i had never problems with the function in the past. P.S. The Defender 110 from Sheepo is my next project, i´m impressed of this car!

Zorex-220 Orange Motorized Excavator
Ralf replied to Jurgen Krooshoop's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYes the Zorex has for every function one motor and all is working simultanously. The XL motor is for boom lifting. P.S. Further i don´t use the lipo battery, i use the 88000 battery box but with Sanyo Eneloop AAA, so it is nearly the same like lipo but much cheaper.

Zorex-220 Orange Motorized Excavator
Ralf replied to Jurgen Krooshoop's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHello, the last time i saw the Hitachi ZX250 excavator it looks similar the Zorex, only the boom color is wrong but it is nearly impossible to find these parts complete in orange. I´ll try to find the parts for the boom in orange color but this need some time...... i think the biggest problem are the wedge plates, i have only found 2x3 and 3x6 wedge plates so i´ll try to combine them. http://www.modell-ov...agger-5994.html

Zorex-220 Orange Motorized Excavator
Ralf replied to Jurgen Krooshoop's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHello together, at first i want to say hello to all members here, beacause i´m a new member since 1 hour After the ultimate 42009 i have build now the Zorex-220 excavator and i love it. It´s a fantastic excavator and many times better than the 8043 i think it looks like more original than the 8043. The most blue pins and red 2 axles are changed now in the black version and it looks better (i don´t like blue and orange combinations, only the seat ist blue and this is ok). It is hard to find the right colours sometimes but a woman friend of me is buying and selling LEGO, so i have the possibility to search the parts i need for me. (thanks alot ) To build the Zorex is fantastic and the boom is nearly perfect, great look, great function! So, and now i have to search some parts for my new project (Defender 110) Greetings Ralf
