  1. Hi, can you explain how you restored the yellowed pieces? Thanks
  2. Thanks for your comments. I already uploaded a few images showing more detail.
  3. Hi everyone, I would like to present you my new creation, the Volvo A25d 4x4 remote controlled. The functions and characteristics are: -4x4 drivetrain powered by one XL motor; -Steering is achieved with a medium motor and one small linear actuator; -Tipper bed controlled by pneumatic and compressor by another medium motor; -Full articullated and big ground clearance. I am very happy with the way I found for the mechanism regarding the tipper bed in which it is only required one motor to operate simultaneously and synchronously the compressor and the pneumatic switch. Since there is a differential between the two, when the motor starts, the power goes to the easier side which is the pneumatic switch. When the switch reaches its end, then the power goes to the compressor. The same is true the other way around. This mechanism is realy helpfull when trying to reach dificult and/or distant places from the battery box because you have the advantage of the lenght of the pneumatic tubes. The link to all the images is here: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=558887 Meanwhile, I am editing a short video to show you these functions. I hope you like it.
  4. Congratulations dokludi for your work. Can you take a picture from underneath as well? Thanks
  5. Great photos! Obrigado! I also have that question. Tito, you're the best person to answer it. I'm anxious to see the video
  6. Thanks for the quick response Nazgarot but I haven't explained myself well. Besides of each wheel go up and down in each axis thanks to the scheme you explained, do they both go up and down at the same time? For example, when you put your hand in the center of the vehicle and push it down, all four shocks will compress at the same time. I believe this unimog can't handle this kind of compression. I may be wrong of course.
  7. I´m very happy with this set I don't know if this was already explained, but I have been wondering... You can't compress the 2 shocks (in each axis) at the same time can you? At least the disposition of the steering transmission doesn't let you... What do you guys think?
  8. WOOWWWW!! To be honest this is one of the most accurate to real life Lego Technic supercars to date! He definitely is a great builder
  9. Excelent work! This tractor has great looks! The only advice is maybe you could also add a pneumatic take off with great functions like the upcoming unimog. Keep up with the good work
  10. Yes, definitely they are the yellow ones. Also, in the 4th pic it can be seen, behind the front wells, some pneumatic tubing... Is it for raising the cabin?
  11. Wow! Amazing MOC GrindingGears! So many functions packed in so little space is a great achievement! Keep up with the good work!
  12. Hi peterski Very nice model! The color scheme is great. You should do a video of it runing. Congratulations
  13. Very interesting, its like a car with power steering Good job Zblj!
  14. The legs movement is very natural! Congratulations! Great work!
  15. Thanks for your comments Conchas
  16. Great work freakwave! I´ll try to build it as you´ve showed in these images
  17. Hi, This is my entry for the challenge. Youtube link: The functions are: 1)Retractable landing gear controlled trough a knob on the left side of the pilot; 2)Adjustable commands in depth to drive the elevators; 3)Adjustable commands in left and right motion to drive the ailerons; 4)Two propellors connected to a V2 engine in the rear. Brickshelf link after moderated: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=421063 Hope you like it
  18. So awesome!! The excavator seems to have several different parts from the early image we saw (driver seat, and several beams in the articulation of the bucket and dipper for instance). The 8052 blue truck was a realy nice surprise for me it has great aesthetics and interesting functions I don´t think The 8053 mobile crane is so much smaller than the 8421... the wheels are about the same size and the distance between them (between axles) is a little longer... I think we´ll have a surprisingly big crane! And correct if I´m wrong, what is that dark part in the end oh the crane (visible in the small picture in the right corner)? Well, it should be the counterwheight... but it has a strange form
  19. WOW!! Truly massive!!! With those yellow beams it looks much better. And i´m wondering if the side panels wouldn´t be so covered, they would be nicer with some grid. Great job!
  20. Very impressive!! It has great aesthetics (solid build) and goes fast!! Those weels are so awesome! Keep it up!
  21. WOW! After seeing several pictures of this car I´m impressed with the detail, especially in the front and interior. Great Job!!
  22. Until now I haven´t got any problems with WD40. After I sprayed both pumps I left them closed down until they were dry. Now they are mounted in my backhoe and the metal still shines, they have no more dust than the rest of the set has. No problems
  23. I´m also a proud owner of this set. And I must say, once built this castle is definitely a looker among all the others!! Very nice review, covering all the important aspects And btw, your bricks and instructions are almost like new! Congratulations
  24. Hey! I had that exact same problem with two old pumps (more than 10 yrs). I pulverized both with WD40 (spray used to lubricate gears and metal parts), then moved several times up and down, and voilá! Like new! It also cleaned some dirt it had. Until now both pumps are in great working order Give it a try
