  1. I'd say it's time the two helicopters took a flight through the shower. ;)
  2. Very impressive! Love how it can be changed from remote to HOG-operated. Lot's of play value on top on everything else! Stunning!
  3. Ooooh! I've had the on my harddrive for ages, never even thought about trying to build it with bricks!I've built a few Killough-platforms in LEGO but this looks (at least) equally fun! Edit: It's quite obvious I like re-inventions of the wheel! :)
  4. Well done! Both great looks and great terrain capabilities!
  5. That's how it's done in the real world so why not on the model?

Great job, instant recognition! Makes me wanna run into the TV-room and watch the DVD (discovered yesterday that I've bought two copies of this movie - d'oh!).
  7. I'm gonna give it a try, sounds like a lot of fun!
  8. Hi! Appears we forgot to post an invitation to this event, shame. But at least you can all see how much fun we had! We had four competitions, show-and-tell, GBC and a lot of miscellaneous fun! The competitions: Blind folded building - Study the instructions, put on the blind fold and then build the set. Every mistake meant a 10 second penalty. Shortest total time won. Speed building - Groups of five built the same little set on time. The fastest went to finals where a different set awaited. Feel the color - Grab a 1 x 2 brick behind your back and name the color before you can see the brick. You need hyper sensitive fingers to feel the different colors. ;) ULV - Ultimate LEGO Vehicle after the design of Reverend Powell Smith. Build one vehicle that is fastest, can roll the longest, don't loose parts, look good and can jump the longest distance. :D Enough words, movie!
  9. Nice work! Looking forward to the video!

Oh, had not seen the Darterian Weapon Replication Facility TLAS previously. Very VERY nice!
  11. Nah, not really. A DH-bike is close to two meters long. So not that big, but maybe a bit as you say. Hm... When I first saw these images some years ago I went all giddy before I realized it was a customization. Thought this was old news in here but apparently not. :) Back when I saw them I was in LEGO-hibernation, but the "photos" made me wake up a little.
  12. They're still on shelves here in Sweden, recommended retail is SEK 1.700,- which is ~$230 US. We get expensive bricks here. :(
  13. Well done! I really like it! I kind of like the silly little arms, it makes the rest ever so more beefed. But it's still a tad silly. :/
  14. Yay! Now I might have the time to dig out my bricks from the attic so I can get my own sigfig. I know just what to build...
  15. Nice! I especially like the linkage for the bucket. It seems to work great! And don't feel intimidated by all the other awesome models that get posted here, just build, share, enjoy, learn, repeat. :D
  16. Forget about the (really cool) truck! That video is kick-megablocks! :D Edit: Bwahahahahahahahaha! A-s as in butt is changed into megablocks. Probably way old news for the lot of ya' but hilarious for me! :D
  17. Big improvement! Now wipe that surface it stand on. ;)
  18. OOooh! Aaah! That's really well done! Especially since you're low on parts. Personally I don't like the computer and lever much, looks like a way to weak part of the defence. I'd rather see it remote controlled via wires we can't see. So to the speak.
  19. Cool! You might get a kick out of this photo (!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdfV6PQPk00#t=0m36s That's how pendelum arms work with leveling in forestry machines. Another photo here: http://www.eco-log.se/en/products/590D I could not find a good video of this, not that I tried that hard...
