When these decals first came out, I started working on an animation with them. I only kept at it for a couple days, so I didn't get too far. But I decided to post it to youtube, so here you guys can see the decals "in action"

The design is very good on the torso, but I find the head a little offsetting. It would be interesting to see it with more normal lego eyes.

For now I'll use woody's decals, I've yet to get to a shot that is a close up of one of the soldiers. When I get that I'll be better able to tell if they'll work. The new belt looks good, I'll update. As for the heads, I haven't quite got there yet, you can probably tell that all the soldiers had the same design. I need to find out which designs I'll use and then turn the designs into an editable mesh so I can animate some expressions. Connor - Right now I'm not 100% sure all of what you had intended for some of his design elements. Earlier you had posted about the wrap around design from firestartoys.com, is it your plan to still use that? Also, how are the leg decals supposed to be applied? I've never used leg decals before, but it seems the tan would look off if the hips are not tan.

Thanks for posting those woody. I had forgotten about your excellent decals. I actually have all your American Revolution decals saved on my PC as part of my decal library. My one hesitation about using your decals though is the red colour is slightly different from what DarkKnight7 has used for his officer decal. I've also always been worried about the lower resolution you have... but I did just throw one of your decals into my project (which is sadly coming rather slowly) and it seems to look pretty good. I definatly might be able to use these if DarkKnight7 has other decals he'd rather spend his time on.

I'd like to make a request, could you make the British soldier and British general that are shown in the Assassin's Creed III trailer? Sounds good! And until then, if there are any figs you want rendered, just let me know and I can knock them off with no problem. Every time you create a new design (in particular the heads), my library of parts expands, so anyway I can give back to you I'd be more than eager.

Not surprised you got lots of feedback, that is really an amazingly well executed design. I'm not into assassin's creed, but that sure caught my eye. Can I ask, do you have any background in the graphics design field?

Does anyone actually still think that we are going to see Star Wars Underworld? Nothing that I've heard indicates that it is anywhere near starting. I am looking forward to the fate of Ashoka and Rex. We need a follow-up to that Darkness on Umbra arc. So much happened to Rex in those episodes yet we haven't gotten his reaction yet! We may never... And if they don't kill Ashoka I will be greatly disappointed. I love her as a character, but that would be such a great tie into Revenge of the Sith. Anakin lost his mother, then his padawan, now he will do anything to save his remaining close ones (Palpatine as well as Padme).

I think seven seasons would be perfect. Spend season 5 on Maul and Oppress and wrap that story line up. Then spend season six building up to Revenge of the Sith. And for season 7 show the events of Revenge of the Sith from a Clone Wars point of view. That would be... amazing. Sadly, I don't for a second think that is going to happen. Instead I'm sure we are going to keep all this jumping around with no coherent storyline. That really annoys me and I'm concerned that the audience will continue to slowly leave and the show will end with very little to no satisfying closure and instead just a string of "cool, but ultimately meaningless" stories having been told. As a huge, invested fan of the series, that would be very disappointing. On the topic of ratings, according to wiki and the details they provide, Season 3 averaged 1.84 million while Season 4 had 1.7 million. As far as I can tell, it is still the most watched show on Cartoon Network.
