  1. Picked up the chain cycle and jay walker one finally.
  2. I've heard nothing but good things as most people pick it up for the cycle, not the minifigs. I'm planning to get one before it stops production.
  3. Aaaannnd....I ended up ordering a Fortrex and Evil Mobile.
  4. I dunno why, but now I'm OBSESSED with Chima! I really didn't care for it at first. Probably because it was so far outside the box, design-wise with the animal builds and anthropomorphic minifigs. But now, I really appreciate all the play features and detail that went into most of the sets and figures. I feel like this series might've been cut short before it really reached it's full potential, but regardless, I feel like Lego really put a lot of effort and resources into something that was as much an experiment as anything else and I really appreciate it. I think the initial premise was a bit weak (hello Disney's Lion King), but as the cartoon series went along, I feel like it did pick up creatively and began to really evolve into its own. I think I most regret passing the Lion Chi Temple by, but I'm hoping to find it at not too outlandish a price sooner or later!
  5. Ah, I see! Cool, thanks for the info! Ninjago has grown on me. I didn't care for it when it first came out, but I appreciate the play features in these sets as the series has evolved. Very interesting that this has indeed become an "evergreen" theme, as it's not something I would've foreseen back in 2011.
  6. Apologies if I missed it, but is Ninjago even close to becoming a retired theme at this point? How much longer do we think Ninjago will go? I'm still looking forward to the Rock Roader (I like the buggies), and the Tumbler.
  7. Toys R US in the US has a special this week on NK (20% off plus get a free Night Cycle for Lego purchases $30 or more), so I finally caved in and added a Lava Smasher and Chaos Catapult to go against my Clay Blade. TBH, only Clay's Blade was a "must have" for me out of this first wave, but now I'm considering getting a Fortrex and Jestro Evil Mobile too. I'm not too jazzed about the Summer sets though. I'm curious about the Black Knight Mech, but if that doesn't come out too nice, I may skip the rest until another round of sets.
  8. The more I look at it, the more I like the Volcano "Explorers" small drilling truck set. I definitely want at least one Park set too.
  9. Lego Modular Hospital sounds like a fun idea, I like it!
  10. Dragon is kind of nice, although I'm not sure about the material of the wings. I really only like the Tumbler, even though it "borrows" a lot from TDK both in style and name. :p
  11. Siege of Doom is a logical solution to Fortrex...I like it! I like the Tower Transport too.
  12. I like the Park and Hangar sets!
  13. Interesting how Lego used the lime green for these new geologic sets--reminds me of Power Miners a little! Not too interested overall, but the mobile HQ with tracked driller looks cool.
  14. That's the thing though, they have so many different lines, original and otherwise, it's not possible for them to all do well. It's like throwing a bunch of stuff against the wall and seeing what sticks.
  15. I just bought the Blade. I like the look and the play features a lot.
