If the battery box and IR sensor are separate and the power to motor can be carried via a wire I'd be curious to know if you could hide the battery box in some of the rolling stock and then connect the power to the motor via wire.

Some new photos of my city block in progress. I will be displaying this city block at the National Model Railroad Association Expo in Detroit, Michigan USA. NMRA is the largest Model railroad expo in the USA. I will be displaying with michlug. View larger images and full gallery here: Brickshelf Gallery

Hey the reason they were so big is because they were the un resized deep links from brickshelf. Problem fixed.

Hey everyone, Thank you so much for all of the great feedback. Ill post more photos of the street and my in prograss buildings over the next few days. Ill also include some photos of the city vehicles. The fire truck is mine but a friend of mine takes care of most of the other vehicles. It does take many bricks to create a street. I use many 2x2 gray smooth tiles. I was lucky to get a whole bunch of these at pick-a-brick in chicago, illinois where a friend of mine lives. I live in Detroit Michigan about 6 hours norteast of chicago.
