Here we see a typical flying saucer of Martian origin, landed on the surface of some place called Roswell, New Mexico. It seems the ship's pilot, Marvin, has something to say to us: "I claim this planet in the name of Mars! Isn't that lovely?" The rear of the UFO... but since I've identified it as Martian flying saucer, doesn't that make it an IFO? (Identified Flying Object) The vessel stands Marvin at the controls quite comfortably, with sadly no room to spare for the Martian flag. Looks like you're going to have to leave it behind, Marvin! The underside of the vessel, with the landing struts and some sort of engine nozzles visible. Thoughts, comments, questions, and so on appreciated!

This updated version of my 2023 MOC of the UP house - set 43217 (and a back half addition I found on Rebrickable by user rykfield) features a new removable modular footprint. The green Studebaker is also new. This version of the house folds open and locks shut on a Technic pin. I built the house's rear half from some movie-accurate instructions on Rebrickable, as seen here. The rear half of the house. The lower floor features a living room, foyer, and dining room while the upper floor features a bedroom and music room. This is the inside of the front half of the building. The rear half of the house's interior. Most of the furniture seen in these two pictures is recolored from the Friends 'Downtown Flower shop and Furniture Store' (set 41732) along with a few pieces from the 'Moving Truck GWP' ( set 40586) and the original UP house itself. The removable modular base without the house. It features a birdbath, driveway, and opening gate. This car's bullet-nose front end was inspired by the look of the 1950 / 51 Studebaker Commander while the color scheme and rear bodywork were inspired by a old Indiana Jones MOC by @hachiroku. The rear has two coverings partially obscuring the rear wheels, in true '50's elegance. The roof comes off to place a figure at the wheel and in the backseat. This mini fig (the owner of house and car) is modeled after my Great Uncle Jack. (the family just calls him Uncle Jack) He's an ex-Marine, Korean War vet, and tough as nails with razor-sharp wit. Yet he's also the nicest, most friendly man you'll ever meet. NOTE: Sorry for the dark colors of the photos. My phone hates taking pictures of things that are blue and / or green. I had three different light sources, and it still turns out too dark! Thoughts?

Recently I reverse engineered what I could of the 1950's-styled 'lead sled' in upcoming summer 2024 set 60408 - Car Transporter. I didn't have pictures of the rear (and obviously instructions were also a no-go at this time), so improvised as best I could using what I thought looked reasonable for a fifties car. I managed to get 99% of the car built from one picture. The front of the car with the vehicle's owner. I can build the car in other colors, (yellow and red are among the possibilities currently) but I'm keeping my lips sealed on what the future holds... The rear of the car. Admittedly, I stole the taillights design from this old @hachiroku MOC. The inside seats one figure at the wheel. Here is the original car from set 60408, which releases this August in the USA. This is the one picture I used to build the car MOC, which was cut from a much larger picture and greatly expanded in size. ...That's all I got. Thoughts, comments, questions, suggestions, and complaints welcome!

I was inspired by Overwatch set 75972 (Dorado Showdown) to create this modular small town auto repair shop with 1950s tow truck. I call the building Smokeys Garage. The building features a raised platform for cars to roll onto and be worked on, with folding ramps to keep the broken-down vehicle (in this case a dark blue Ford Anglia set 75953 MOD) in place. The front of the building. I've been working on this tow truck and building on and off basically since the Overwatch theme released in 2019. The rear of the building featuring a few empty oil barrels and some old engines. The main floor of the building, with the ramps lowered for receiving a broken-down car. Several types of tools hang from the walls. Upstairs on the second floor is the employee break room. The eight wide hover-truck from Overwatch set 75972 has been turned into a 6-studs wide 1950's-style tow truck. Rear of the truck. The hook is too high off the ground to actually pull anything... The cab roof is removable to seat the driver behind the wheel. This 1960s car is a heavily modified version of the Ford Anglia in the 2018 Harry Potter set 75953 - Hogwarts Whomping Willow, remade into dark blue. It has broken down, and is being worked on at Smokeys Garage. (my most recent modular building) The rear of the Anglia. The car has an opening trunk and cabin doors, and also seats one figure. EDITED 8/14/24: So, it's taken quite a while, but it's finally done! Enjoy the MOC!

An addition to the cannon. I'll be buying the parts to build this soon. You can see it at my BrickLink Stud.io page (link in signature), and if you download or view in 3D you will see the internal details through the open back for play/display - Winter Village style. Scaled to fit my short-form EN-style carriages (24-stud plate; also available at my Stud.io page, with other content including more train stuff) which are hauled by a modified PF'd Constitution engine. Suggestions for improvements welcome.

Hallo, I've made some digital inspirations for future project of our LUG - MicroCITY. Inspiration comes from existing blocks of flats built in our city in 1950s, modified and adjusted to fit in modules of 32x32 baseplates. Built in LDD, rendered in Bluerender.

Hey everyone! This is the topic for my all-new "theme" of MOCs, a series of creations designed to emulate LEGO's official set style. I'm excited because it represents quite a stylistic/genre shift from my last project like this, Dragon Lands, which was a fantasy series. Welcome to "Body Battlers," a retro-futuristic sci-fi adventure set inside the human body! Two 1950s teens—Roy and Tara—have been shrunk down to microscopic size to help a body's white blood cells fight off a dangerous infection, led by the evil disease Infekto. In this (openly pseudo-scientific) imagination of the fight that occurs constantly inside all of us, germs and antibodies are armed for battle, piloting cool machines and bouncing from one organ system to the next in their struggle. It's all ray-guns, pulse lasers, and niftyness! I really enjoyed playing around in a new genre, exploring the intersection between 1950s pop culture, retro-futurism, and human biology. MOCing in vibrant/"rare" colors, trying to create curved lines and distinctive silhouettes, and coming up with satisfactory set concepts were my most engaging challenges. Clicking the pictures below will link you to their larger versions. If you'd like to also see play feature videos, check out my Flickr stream. 52016 Gastro’s Diner 712 Pieces Resist the evil Infekto at Gastro’s Diner! In his wicked quest to sicken everything, Infekto has decided to corrupt the stomach, so he and Symnella have attacked Gastro’s diner, where honest cells go to get their glucose. They’ve taken the joint hostage, and have even coerced Tara into waitressing… But Tara has learned some of the old diner’s secrets! Can she and the Antibody Officer save Gastro’s and free the stomach? Includes 5 minifigures. Includes 5 minifigures: Tara, Gastro, an Antibody Officer, Infekto, and Symnella. Features a 1950s-style diner complete with tiled floors, padded vinyl seating, a jukebox, a sleek counter, and a fully stocked kitchen. Also includes a viral spore cannon and a stylized roadside sign. Change the marquis on top of the diner from neon print to a working six-shot defense cannon. Hide weapons inside the jukebox and the fuse box. Send the booth and table tumbling by pressing the lever. Shoot the viral spore cannon at the diner. Cover the diner in infection, or remove the infection bits. Open up the diner to change from rectangular to linear orientation. Weapons and accessories include two double-barrel pulse pistols, a Sanitize Launcher, a viral spore launcher, an electric drill, a nausea zapper, a sniper laser, a serving tray, two milkshakes, and two plates of glucose. Diner measures more than 14” (36cm) wide, 5” (14cm) deep, and 6” (15cm) tall. 52015 DNA Defense 458 Pieces Defend the DNA from capture! The wicked Infekto has donned a gargantuan suit of robot armor, intent on stealing the body’s very blueprints, its DNA. If Infekto takes the DNA, antibody cell production will become corrupted… and the W.B.C. aren’t about to let that happen! Armed to the teeth with jetpacks, sanitize snipers, and an experimental new weapon—the “Cure Blaster”—Captain Vaccius, Antibonnie, and Roy have come ready for a final battle. Will they be able to put a stop to Infekto? Includes 4 minifigures. Includes 4 minifigures: Roy, Antibonnie, Vaccius, and Infekto. Launch smells, the typewriter, or even Roy from the box catapult. Fire sticky vials from Mucus Millionaire’s snot-thrower. Weapons and accessories include a ray-gun, a typewriter, a wrench, a hammer, a snot-thrower with extra vial, and four captured smells. Ole Factory measures more than 11” (27cm) long, 6” (14cm) wide and 4” (11cm) tall. 52012 Nervous Break-In 213 Pieces Protect the neuron from a nervous break-in! Typhax has broken into a sensory cluster, and he’s intent on capturing a neuron, one of the body’s receptor—or is it reception?—cells. Even the resourceful Tara, armed with her best ray-gun, won’t be enough to stop him. So Tara signals for help, and Antibonnie of the W.B.C. rushes over in her nifty, decked-out patrol speeder! I'm still midway through my Santa Fe project, I need to get the files and everything uploaded to Rebrickable. I'm pretty sure I'm done with that, but I'm not sure what else to add to it before I get everything posted. For my new project, I thought I'd tackle the Polar Express! My collection is somewhat lacking in the train department, and given the difficulty of building steam in LDD, I decided I'd try to build the cars first. I had to sacrifice a few details for the sake of functionality, but besides that everything is pretty accurate and well proportioned IMHO. Some of these screenshots are slightly outdated, as I've moved the ladders to the bogies instead of the body, allowing for the couplers to be much closer since. This is the observation ending. This is the most recent screenshot of the car chassises, featuring the updated coupler and ladder positions. All the windows and doors are brick built, using transparent bricks, jumper plates, plates, and bricks. This allowed for the bodies to be much more accurate, with accurate window spacing and sizing. The base is also brick built, not using the standard train plates. One area I've always been self-conscious about is the rounded roofs on observation endings. I always experiment round for hours, playing with different combinations of tiles, curved plates, and cheese wedges. I'm still not 100% satisfied with the shape, but it seems to work for now. This is the interior. One of the biggest things I do when designing cars and locos is use jumper plates to put the seats, to give room for mini figures without using panels for windows and walls. This also allows for a larger corridor for mini figures and details. I tried to replicate the interior from the film, with the sideways facing seats, though there might be a table or two that I'm missing. I'll have to rematch the film for that detail. One of my favorite details is the SNOT for the back window, allowing for the three back windows present in the train car. I think this technique has merit for other prototypes, and you could modify it to make windows of most sizes while staying within the confines of 6 or 7 wide. There's also tiled floors, but you can easily delete the interior details to save cost if you decide to brick link them. If the maersk blue is a problem, it should be relatively easy to change to light blue, dark blue, or grey because it's all common bricks. Close up of the back windows, there's also jumper plates to stick figures in the back of the train. It's a bit short though, you may have to remove legs or only use short figs back there. Close up of the diaphragm. I used jumper plates and more SNOT to get them 3 wide, the correct width, without leaving gaps in the walls. I also added marker lights on the car ends, aside from the observation ending. The regular observation car. The interior of the regular observation car. I had trouble designing the seats, as I couldn't find dark red curved slopes, so I had to use cheese wedges and hinges to make the seats. Unfortunately, this means the seats are about a plate higher than I wanted them to be. If I could get some advice on that, it'd be awesome. My only complaint besides that would be that the observation ending platform is slightly delicate, as the floor and handrail is only held on by the tiles connecting it to the body. Get ready to blast off into the unknown vastness of outer space! This model was inspired by set 3831, (Rocket Ride, from the 2008 Spongebob line) albeit with a pointier nose cone, and gray color scheme. The model now has a enlarged engine section with longer tail fins and four more engines, along with a crew of two humans and a robot helper. One of the human astronauts can even be seated in the fold-open cockpit. (The below story line is 100% fiction.) This ship is the forerunner for all of the other Lego space ships: in 1969, this crucial piece of history launched from LegoLand Space Port for a mission to the moon. This was very soon after the failed 1965 launch of 801-series Space Rocket, which killed the the brave crew of Kat Aclysm: female rocket science genius and designer of the experimental ship, and Abraham "Abe" Normal, the best test pilot in the academy. Their deaths at the Samsonite launch pad were not in vain though, as the newly founded LegoLand Aero-Space Authority (renamed Classic Space Command in 1978) rebuilt their reputation as the premier brick-built space agency by launching the "Innovator", also known as LL002 which in early August 1969 made history as the first mini figure - built object on the moon! This rocket and it's crew (Bill Fold, Penny Wise, and S1L-V3R the robot) made history with their two days on the moon's surface, providing the foundations for the Classic Space Moon-base series of missions. The model without the figures The model now has a enlarged engine section with longer tail fins and four more engines. The rocket features an opening section to get at the interior which now only consists of the cockpit. The model was too weak in real life when the whole thing opened up, so I was forced to solidify every section to keep it from falling apart. The trans-clear windscreen part should have this print. The crew of this fateful mission was commander Bill Fold and scientist Penny Wise, along with their robot helper S1L-V3R. (nicknamed Silver) The robot is inspired by the robot customer in the 2007 set number 4981 (another Spongebob set called The Chum Bucket), while the astronauts were inspired by the Sandy Cheeks mini-figure in set 3831. The mini-figures should feature this torso print. MISSION NOTES: Here is the inspirational set 3831, courtesy of Brickset... ...and here is the original real life version of the rocket. The LDD file for the updated rocket itself is here. As usual, comments, questions, complaints and suggestions are welcome! EDIT 6/24/17: LDD file and pictures updated for the larger and now multi-engine rocket.

This is my LEGO military mini figure's car from the '50's. It is supposed to have a bunch of printed parts on it... please see the pictures below for a picture of them all. Also, after much editing and modifying, this car can now fit a mini-figure in it: I just tested it in Lego Digital Designer. Here we see the car with it's owner, Admiral Oswald Lyons, who happens to reside on my futuristic space base with my Imperial gray scale set 9515: "the Malevolence" inspired space ship, the Nevermore. But today he's just about town in his vintage Army car. As you can see, the car features covered rear wheels and a removable roof to place a figure inside. The rear of the car. The car is supposed to have these prints on it. I don't want to add all the links from Brick Link to this page, but you can find them all under this tab in the "sand green" color section: http://www.bricklink...=P&colorPart=48 Their are missing prints in the LDD file that are detailed i this photo. They are supposed to be placed as follows: The two sand green 1x2 bricks go on the sides where the dark tan bricks are, while the sand green 1x4 tiles go where the dark bluish gray tiles are. The car maker logo is to be placed on the trunk, while the star goes on the hood. NOTE: their are 7 pages of 50 items each on this tab, but I'm pretty sure you can find these parts by the picture above and cross referencing it with Brick Link. ALSO: Their are two parts that are double in quantity, so their picture appears twice instead of once. LDD file for the car and Oswald: http://www.moc-pages...1462053664m.lxf NOTES: I will probably will build this soon, most likely during / right after May, so watch this space for real life pictures either in mid - May or early June!

"Ah, it feels good to be in a bear's natural habitat... a Studebaker" - Fozzie Bear Here is Fozzie's 1951 Studebaker Commander from the original Muppet movie in its original rusty condition. It should fit Fozzie Bear and Kermit the Frog, but I make no promises on the banjo fitting for the “Movin' Right Along” musical sequence. Sadly, the roof is very hard to remove (and this being reddish brown of unknown vintage) that I fear removing the roof to place the two figures inside will shatter parts. The Muppet CMF's my dad bought will thus just have to stand next to the car. (Its not like you can see inside the car to see them driving anyway!) Even if I could get the roof off, Kermit has to sit in the backseat as there isn't enough room up front for both side-by-side. In fact, they have to be centered in each row of seats to fit at all, due to arm constraints. In a show I saw about this film they mentioned the following factoid: The car seen in long-distance tracking shots was an identical second car, while the one with the closeups / scenes of Fozzie visibly driving had the steering re-connected to a wheel in the trunk, along with the relocated pedals and shifter. They also mounted a TV camera in the nose of the car, and a monitor in the trunk, so the driver could see where he was going. ...and that's all I've got. But before I go, I'll leave you with this: “Someday we'll find it, The LEGO Connection, The Designers, the MOC-ers and Me"

Hello fellow EB members. I've been working on a mid-century house interior as I was influenced by the housing magazines from the time. There are many features you might find in a home of that era. Textures on the walls, a sloped roof and a open-plan feel. Anyway onto the pics; I've posted them also in my flick stream if you wish to view them there; https://www.flickr.com/photos/52656812@N04/ As always any queries or comments welcome!

This somewhat spooky, gothic-looking modular building was inspired by the tavern in Harry Potter set 76388 - Hogsmeade Village Visit, with a color scheme lifted from 75583 - Minions and Gru's Family Mansion. The car was reverse engineered from what I could see of the 1950's 'lead sled' in upcoming summer 2024 City set 60408 - Car Transporter. I added a back half to the building, built another level, plus I put in a conservatory and a fireplace flue. I also changed the coloring to dark bluish gray with a black roof, from the original dark tan with dark gray roof. The building folds open on a hinge, and as such lifts away from the modular compatible base to allow for you to open the building. The rear isn't that exciting too look at, but it does it's job well enough. Inside the front of the building, the lower floor has a dining room, while the second floor has a well-stocked library. The third floor is the attic space. In the back of the house, on the lower level we see the living room and conservatory. (this latter area flips open for access) Moving onto the second floor is the bedroom. (the black thing with trans-blue glass is a fish tank) Finally, the attic is located on the third floor and is mostly vacant. The modular base can also be removed from the building. I didn't have pictures of the rear (and obviously instructions were also a no-go as the City set won't be out until August), so improvised as best I could using what I thought looked reasonable for a fifties car. I managed to get 99% of the car built from one picture. The rear of the car. Admittedly, I stole the taillights design from this old Hachiroku24 MOC. The inside seats one figure at the wheel. Thoughts, comments, complaints, and questions welcome!

I finally took pictures of this MOD of Overwatch set 75972 I've been working on basically since the set released in 2019. It's been turned into a 6-studs wide 1950's-style tow truck, and seats one figure at the wheel. The front of the truck. The rear of the truck. The cab roof is removable to seat the driver behind the wheel. NOTE: The vehicle might get changed to black later on because a printed grille (the same part type I'm already using here) in CITY 4+ set 60435 is coming out, and I always wanted the grille on my tow truck to be more pronounced. Only time will tell if this truck gets color swapped or not... Thoughts?

I based this vintage dump truck MOC off the Moving Truck GWP (set 40536) from last year. I made the cab 6 wide and added a new back half. Two each of these brackets are missing from the LDD file: 36841 in black is needed for the front bumper 36840 in yellow is needed for the headlights The rear of the dump truck with the bed lowered. The MOC seats two figures, while the cab doors open and the bed raises to dump the load. Free LDD file available at Bricksafe. Thoughts?

Hello fellow EB members. My latest MOC is called Atom Bowl. It's inspired by mid century architecture. I had intended to make it full on Googie but couldn't quite replicate some of the wild shapes prevelant in that style such as boomerangs. I spent most of the my time working on with the 'ball return' and diamond pattern. Couple of pictures; They are also found as usual on my flickr page: here All the best for 2024! Andrew

I know this is probably a long-shot, but I am very interested in buying a wooden LEGO duck toy like the one below. I would like to find one in very good condition, with most of the original paint and the LEGO decal. An example like the one below would be good for me. If you have one you would like to sell, or you know someone who might be able to help, please let me know. I'm looking for this duck because I recently purchased a photo from eBay that appears to show a child playing with the same exact pull-toy. (See 2nd picture.) It would be nice to have the actual duck to display along with it.

(I'm not sure where to put this model, as it's town, but based off a licensed set in a classic space color scheme!) This classic car was inspired by my previous car for Benny the 1980-something space guy, and partially by set 21108. (that's the Ghostbuster's Ecto 1) With the Ecto 1, I removed the front hood, shortened the car's length and width to make it about the same size my usual CITY-scale vehicles at a acceptable 24 studs long and 6 studs wide. I then added the front hood and grille work which was originally inspired by set 4728 (Escape from Privet Drive). The rear of the car features twin exhaust pipes, and a license plate that in all likelihood is a vanity plate saying "BENY84". (as 1984's the year our favorite blue Classic Space astronaut was introduced) (picture from Bricklink) Also, the 4x2 slope should feature the print above (link to Bricklink: http://alpha.brickli...63pb021#T=C&C=7 ) Anyway, the car looks like it could fit a figure, but it can't as of right now... It probably could work but would require substantial body work MODs that I frankly don't want to do right now. (sorry!) The car will be built by summer, and will replace the car seen in the above picture. LDD file: http://www.moc-pages...1452458064m.lxf

I originally wanted to post this car model beside a building model, but since I've been struggling to come up with something new, I thought why not just let it be posted by itself. You can also build this car in red instead of tan, but since I've already made so many red vehicles, I decided on tan instead. This car was originally based on the car from set 10232, (Palace Cinema) along with a front grille inspired by set 70906 (The Joker Notorious Low-rider) and a rear partially taken from the SHIELD car "Lola" in set 76077. (Iron Man: Detroit Steel strikes) The rear features a spare tire. The car features seating for two mini figures, as shown above. (Bob and Rob mini-figures not included in LDD file) As before, but without the mini figures. The seats are built on 1 x 2 jumper tiles, and the panels allow for the mini-figure's arms and legs to fit with this odd spacing. The LDD file (for the car only) is available here. Comments, questions, & complaints are always welcome!

This three level autorack was originally found on LGauge .com as seen here. I redesigned that model and added tiny automobiles to fit into the racks. I also recolored the yellow parts to dark gray to fit better with my other freight cars. There is a single plate worth of clearance between the automobiles and the rack above. The automobiles are attached using 2 x 3 plates, put they are removable... if you take the roof of the freight car off first! As usual, comments, questions and complaints are welcome, and the ldd file is here. Thanks for viewing!

(Now how's that for good customer relations!) The model was originally built in 2012. It was modeled after the 2011 CARS set 8487, (Flo's V8 Cafe) but made larger and without the launcher and car wash. I recently changed the color scheme to OCTAN colors, (red white & green) plus I added a truck of unknown origin from 2014 (I think my brother may originally have built it.) I'm not 100% sure where it came from as it's been on my computer for so long. This gas station has eight retro-style stand-up pumps, and three lanes for cars to sit while pumping gas. As a side note, this part should go where the 2 x 4 x 3 brick is above the door while two of these 1 x 4 tiles should go on the stand-up sign. The model's rear swings open to reveal the the clock, four-flavor soda fountain, and the attendant's desk. Their is also a storage area under the soda fountain. The back of the model features a rear exit. I think my brother may originally have built this truck, but I'm not 100% sure where it came from as it's been on my computer for about three years. The rear of the truck. The driver's doors open, and so do all four storage compartments. The complete LDD file is available here, if you want it. Remember: Comments, Question & Complaints are always welcome! EDIT 1/9/17: added new pictures and an updated ldd file with tanker truck.

This is a set I made for LEGO Ideas, but I figured I'd share it here as well. I'm still very new on Eurobricks and this is only the very first MOC that I've posted, so I'm open any tips anyone has to offer about how to format these sorts of posts in the future. The set is based on science fiction classic Forbidden Planet and includes minifigs of all the main characters from the film, including a block-built version of Robbie the Robot, plus the weird unnamed space-car thing that Robbie drove around. I also included a minifig-scale lego version of the film's poster. I tried to make everything as accurate to the film as it was possible to get at that scale, including custom decorations for the uniforms complete with accurate rank insignias. Here's some various angles of the car thing. Sadly, I wasn't able to make it so the front opens like in the film. Here's some of Robbie. Funnily enough, he actually has greater range of articulation than the original Robbie costume/prop did. And here's some closer looks at the poster I designed for it Let me know what you think. If you like it, please take the time to support it on Lego Ideas.

This is a mod of set 40128, as seen here: http://brickset.com/sets/40128-1/Robot Fictional background info: The NIFT-E robot was designed in 2015 to compliment the thousands of Sentry (4416) series robots produced in 2006 by the X-POD corporation for the original Nexus Force founders. However, the newer robots produced by Yesterday's Tomorrow Corporation are coated with a hard-to-find mineral called Retro-nite to better protect from Maelstrom corruption. As a side effect of this mineral makes use of a retro-futuristic design which won over Commander Bob of the Neo Nexus Force. (He is seen in the main pic alongside the first NIFT-E) Thirty-four of these robots were produced as a test batch, called the Nexus Iron Friendly Teammate - Engineer class (NIFT-E) for use as spaceship ground-crew and basic engineering duties, including fueling and maintenance, computer updating, and guiding ships into land. They work alongside human counterparts who work on the harder to reach areas of a ship's engine and take care of life support systems and crew comforts. Each human crewman is assigned an NIFT-E counterpart, in which they are partners working towards the same goal: keeping the ships flying and repair bay as empty as possible in case of emergency. This robot requires one part not in LDD, AKA this printed part ( http://www.bricklink...sp?P=15068pb004 ) goes on the center of his chest. The Rear of the NIFT-E.... nothing to see here! LDD file for the NIFT-E and Bob: http://www.moc-pages...1473453461m.lxf NOTE: The robot's head will not turn no matter what I do to the file, even though it's on a turn-plate. If you do need to turn his head, remove it, and then replace it when the turntable is placed int he correct position. (Name of the robot provided by a good friend of mine after looking for a neat 1950's sounding name) This robot will go alongside two more spaceships, an enlarged landing pad and a new car for Bob on my Nexus Force Ice Station Destiny space base when built in real life. Here's what the base looks back in late 2015. Any comments, questions and complaints are welcome.

Here we see my MOD of the Brick City Depot (Winter Village) Fire station. I redid the color scheme in some places & added a different Fire Engine. I remodeled the top level (no tower) and put pillars in the corners of the building, plus I added a back wall with inside details. The garage doors open to allow the fire truck to back in. (it does fit, I checked!) The 4 x 4 bonnet right above the doors should feature this print. As you can see, here is the back wall with the chimney flue for the oven and roof top water storage barrel. The inside now features two bunk beds. a oven, table, chairs, reception area and rotary-dial phone. The fireman's pole goes from the upper floor to the bottom level, and stairs allow for you to return to the top. I was inspired to build this by set 9484, Red's Water Rescue. I replaced the eyes with window parts, while adding a grille where the mouth was. I also beefed up the rear, and removed the flick-fire missiles. The sides of the truck should have two of this print under the hoses where the blank 2 x 2 tiles are. The side of the truck features two hoses (one for each side) and the roof has a ladder. (The ladder can rotate 360 degrees and can go up and down.) The doors to get into the crew cab also open and close while the sides feature 4 hose hookups (that's the pearl gold 1x1 round studs) and two identical pump controls. The LDD for both the station and truck can be downloaded here. Comments, Questions & Complaints are welcome, and this model is on the to-be-built short list... maybe by December of this year(?) alongside the town hall. Any thoughts?

This model was recreated in LDD by Eurobricks user @Stephan, which I then took and recolored in my red and gray color-scheme. I also added the opening cockpit from my older rocket model along along with new tail-fins and two less rocket stages. The two astronaut figures and one robot are also included in the LDD file! NOTE: Some parts would not fit on the rocket according to Stephan due to tolerance issues in LDD, and are left to the side in the file. They are hidden in the pictures, but they are there, so be alert when building in real life. You have been warned! Fictional background info for the rocket: This ship is the forerunner for all of the other Lego space ships: in 1970, this crucial piece of history launched from LegoLand Space Port for a mission to the moon. This was very soon after the failed 1965 launch of 801 series Space Rocket, which killed the the brave crew of Kat Aclysm: female rocket science genius and designer of the experimental ship, and Abraham "Abe" Normal, the best test pilot in the academy. Their deaths at the Samsonite launch pad were not in vain though, as the newly founded LegoLand Aero-Space Authority (renamed Classic Space Command in 1978) rebuilt their reputation as the premier brick-built space agency by launching the "Innovator", also known as LL001 which in early August 1969 made history as the first mini figure - built object on the moon! This rocket and it's crew (Bill Fold, Penny Wise, and S1L-V3R the robot) made history with their two days on the moon's surface, providing the foundations for the Classic Space Moon-base series of missions. The model still separates into sections, but the top most one of these has been replaced, thus reducing the segments to three. The rear of the rocket features five engines, the middle section a smaller bank of five thrusters, while the cockpit section has one singular engine. The cockpit still opens, and as usual should feature this print. The rocket features enlarged tail-fins inspired by 1950's / 60's science fiction. The fins SHOULD be able to take the weight of the rocket when standing vertical, but I'm not 100% sure, so build at your own risk. You have been warned! The height of the Saturn V dwarfs the smaller rocket of the previous design. (The older model is NOT in the LDD file!) The robot is inspired by the robot customer in the 2007 set number 4981 (a Spongebob set called The Chum Bucket), while the astronauts were inspired by the Sandy Cheeks mini-figure in set 3831 (Rocket Ride). The astronauts should have this print on their torsos. Here is the LDD file for the modified Saturn V, which also includes the two bubble - helmeted astronauts and the robot. The model is 100% build able in real life, and should be built by me around Christmas this year. Comments, questions and complaints are always welcome! EDITED 8/8/17: added new pictures and updated ldd file!
