"Monotone Motel" is my 4th 48x48 modular building, completing a district in my city that includes Apple Square University, Tall Tower, and Lawyer's Laundromat. As with the relatively smaller Black Cat Cabaret, this project started as an attempt to replicate a Sakura Taisen locale in Lego. The headquarters in the video game was based upon the Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall in Japan. It was supposed to have several bedrooms plus a theater, disguising a giant mech hangar in the basement. Alas, as usual, I gave up halfway through, and the building became its own thing. Several elements remain, however, like the front window above the entrance which has become a clock, the circular windows, and turrets in the corners. Enjoy the photos below and in my flickr album! Exterior: Interior: Bedrooms: Ballroom: Clock: Until next time~

Somewhere in Asia, Johnny Thunder finds himself in the jungle looking for a hidden Pagoda. While Mike is crossing the rope bridge, the old bridge gives way under his feet. Dangling on the old bridge, Johnny tries to help him before the crocodile can get him. Be sure to also look at the movie for all the rope bridge and crocodile movements powered with a 9V motor: Build for the 20 Years LowLUG competition.

This is it, iv'e finally managed to post this forum about my latest MOC, my IN N Out Burger Restaurant! It has been built on a 48x48 baseplate and features a Main restaurant, outdoor seating area and drive thru! P.S. Its not a great MOC but it was a free build with no plans and its turned out fine. I would love to tile the floor but don't have the tiles for it Comments and criticism is verymuch appreciated! Sorry about the quality of the images! P.P.S This MOC has no roof, when i was young i never put roofs on my creations because i didn't have the money to buy roof pieces but mainly because i played inside my buildings! The whole restaurant and sign ( I would love to make the sign from Lego but i didn't have the parts needed! Someday i'll do it!)) The Front Exterior Outdoor Seating The Drive Thru & Pick up window and Custom made menu! Interior Overview Main Restaurant Area Ordering Counter Restroom The engine of any restaurant, the kitchen! Grill And Fryer Preparation Area Coffee Machine and Behind the Counter And finally Staff Photo!!! Thank You! Comments & Criticism Greatly Appreciated
