As the fierce struggle against the invading Algus continued, it became obvious that Mitgardia needed to strengthen its defense against the frozen beyond. Thus a new fortress was to be established in the north, to serve as the main bastion against this chilling foe. The construction of such a castle was no small feat, and troops and supplies were rallied from all of Mitgardia. Upon its completion, the great fortress Rekkrfell was manned by the Kylma Katsella. This was built back in April of 2015, and was really too big for the parts and time I had available then. Thus, while there are several sections I really like, I'm not very pleased with the MOC as a whole. There are more pictures available on my website, link. C&C always welcome

Here is my Barracks Phase 3 build for Age of Mitgardia. It was actually made in 2015, but it took me forever to get around to making the other barracks phases. I used SNOT 1x2 tiles for the stone walls, and quite like the stone block texture it gives. Daydelon barracks is a prominent barracks in Mitgardia, and houses from all over the guild send their sons there to be trained as warriors. In fact, it's not overly unusual for citizens of another guild to train for a time in Daydelon. Thanks for looking, your comments are always welcome

Micro Warcraft 2 I began working on each individual building a few months ago but finally finished assembling the display. The inspiration for this display began when I completed my Warcraft: Orcs and Humans micro last year. I figured it was time to go on to the next game Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. I started with the human town center and built out the basic buildings of the lumber mill, barracks, blacksmith and the farm. Of course, the build wouldn't be complete without the resources to harvest and the exploding sheep. If you are unfamiliar with the game here are some screen shots. [pid][/pid] 244A This is my first build in the Pirate theme. It was a lot of fun to build and I plan to do lots more Pirate builds. The barracks has a full interior, and the doors can open. The Imperial Barracks sits on a corner of the Imperial Fort. Any C&C appreciated.

After several months of construction, and a lot of hard work, the full barracks is finally complete. It comes with a full outfit of 12 soldiers, 2 Non-Coms and 2 Officers. Here it is in all of its glory. Here we see Lord Jakon, freshly arrived to inspect the facility, being greeted by it's commander. Here is a sergeant, surveying the yard. It was at this point that the dwarf realized that clearing snow with an axe would not be as fun as it sounded. The entrance, being guarded by two soldiers. Two mercenaries have decided to join up with a guild, and become legitimate soldiers. A sergeant is making sure that this new recruit is up to snuff. A soldier clears the roof of the armory/storehouse of snow. two logs, stacked, ready to be burnt. The inside of the top story. This is my axe, there are many like it, but this one is mine, my axe is my best friend... The inside of the bottom story, with two dwarves gambling. The bottom story with all furniture removed. The inside of the top story, with all furniture removed. Thats all folks! C&C please! UoP credits claimed: Architecture: Roofing Military Science: Fortification Anthropology: Life in Mitgardia

Sir Gareth left Avalonia in hope of uniting the four guilds against the Drow. He currently travels throughout Mitgardia in search of those strong enough and willing to join his cause. It was during these travels, that he discovered a small camp of Huns. Before the warriors willingly swore their loyalty, he challenged them to a test of their strength. While neither bested Sir Gareth, for he is a highly experienced knight, they did impress him. He cheerfully accepted their pledge of allegiance; delighted to recruit such skilled soldiers. I threw this together to show off my brand new Hun Warriors (I finally found a case of CMF Series 12 at Target ) I had a lot of fun building this and writing the story. My favorite part was posing the minifigures, but I enjoyed making the snow too. And finally, those Avalonians, Mitgardians, Kaliphlians, and Nocturnians wanting to join Sir Gareth's cause, please post your pledge of allegiance in the comments. For everyone that does, I will try to build a vignette of Sir Gareth meeting your character. The colours of Sir Gareth's flag are dark green, green, and red, as his army currently consists of Avalonians, Mitgardians, and Nocturnians. But as Kaliphlians join, I will add dark blue. Historica united can defeat the Drow once and for all! C&C are welcome!

A new MOC for my small town of Tolswick. As it is only a small farming town it has no walls around it, so it needs good guards. This is the first part of the Tolswick defense project. Also, as I haven't made a MOC in a while, I was just trying to use new techniques like the shield on the front and the grey brick pattern. FRONT: Note the gold studs round the window. I used a headlight brick backwards to do it. Another new technique for me. SIDE: BOTTOM FLOOR: Here is a guard training with a troll dummy while a Tolswick Ranger watches. The guard will be scared when he finds out real trolls move . UPPER FLOOR: Here is a guard having a quick nap while off duty. And yes those are beds from the burrow, that's where most pieces for this MOC come from.

The Mitgardian county of Stormhold was in turmoil. Following the mysterious disappearance of its ruler, Berelan Gryffen, three months ago, the land had quickly fallen into disarray. Mountain bandits and orc clans had begun to raid the villages and there were even reports of Drow in the area. Fear spread among the local people and many considered emigration to other areas of the guild. Crynis Elchafron, Berelan's old friend and trusted ally, finally returned from a scouting mission to report the bad news that Berelan had been abducted by a Drow nobleman, Lord Ravenshelm, and was en route to Nocturnus with an armed guard of Drow and Order of the Dragon soldiers. She had been unable to act on her own, but she was determined to somehow save him. Through messenger birds, she established contact with the Nocturnian Resistance against the Black Spire and its leaders, and pledged her support for the cause. Then the training began. The issue was, Stormhold was a small county of Mitgardia with a fighting force of less than sixty soldiers. When Crynis began recruiting for her army, almost two hundred and fifty hopefuls enlisted, but unfortunately most of them were peasants with little to no fighting skills whatsoever. Help came unexpectedly. A band of northeners arrived in the county one day, having been driven south by the Algus menace. They numbered about forty-five, but were fierce fighters, trained to survive the harshest conditions and willing to act as mercenaries for the small army that was gradually forming. To begin with, each hopeful was assigned to a brief one-on-one sparring session with one of the mercenaries or militiamen, using stout wooden staves as weapons. Crynis herself personally observed each bout to assess whether or not the man had any potential whatsoever. She was currently watching a young peasant, Bjorn by name, face off against a seasoned mercenary, Wilhelm. Bjorn showed some promise, but stood no chance against the experienced soldier. Still, this was only the beginning. And great things can come of small beginnings. [ Sorry for the lengthy backstory. C & C welcome ]
