  1. I'll start with mine. I would take a 1x1 brick with 4 knobs, and take one knob away, leaving 3 knobs. I would use it mainly for micro vehicles.
  2. The Title should pretty much tell everything, but heres a short summary: Today I wanted to buy some unique pieces from Bricks and Pieces. Manly Star Wars pieces like Sabine's Helmet. I made my order and got an E-Mail shortly after which said: "We offer a free service to replace LEGO® bricks that were missing or faulty in a new set. After reviewing your account history and parts requests you’ve made over time, we’ve decided to no longer offer this service to you. As a result, we’ve cancelled your order. Any future orders will also be cancelled. You can still buy LEGO bricks and sets elsewhere, but orders placed through LEGO.com, for both Shop and replacement parts, online or over the phone will be automatically cancelled from this point on." I know they assume you abuse the system if you order too much, and I admit ordering some pieces 2 years prior (I was really nitpicky back then about slightly misplaced printings, but anymore thank god). But the point is, I wanted to BUY the pieces. Not get them for free. I entered my credit card informations and they still cancelled it. Why feels like a giant "Screw you" to me. I wouldn't mind if it was an order about missing bricks, but no, I just wanted to buy them and they still treat my like this. Reading this sounds like im ranting really hard, but it isn't really, since they have a reason to be suspicious to me. But what actually unsettles me the most is that they told me that ALL Orders from the Online Store will get cancelled. Every.Single.One. I tried to contact them once because I really had a broken piece to be replaced, but they ignored my E-Mail. Edit: Sorry for the late answer, but I finally asked them about this issue per phone. It did NOT get solved. The woman I talked to explained me that the decision came from a person on an higher position than her and she couldn't do anything about it to change it. Well, now I feel like I just got a giant middle finger shuffed in my face... So I don't really know what to do know. I think a phone call would come in mind, but let me hear what you say about this messy situation.
  3. This fits in so many threads I think it deserves it's own.
  4. I recently went to the lego store and have never really bought bricks off the PAB wall. As a newcomer to buying peices for my own creations, what tips do you guys have for buying off the wall? I got a large cup of just random pieces (Ive heard large bins are better priced) that I think I could use and that was my only guide really. But do any of you have any past experience or wisdom to share? Some questions I have are: 1) How does lego decide what pieces to put on the wall? 2) Are pieces off the PAB a good deal or is it better online at like the online pick a brick or brick link? 3) Is USD $16 a large cup too expensive? 4) Are there bricks in the really high up containers lol? I couldn't even look all the way up there. 5) What time do you guys go to the store? This is kinda weird but when i go there, there are so many kids running around and its usually pretty hot and im trying to figure out what to get. 6) How often do they change what pieces are on the wall? 7) Essentially is the pick a brick wall the most effective way to get lego pieces for your creations? For now buying the boxes of pieces stores sometimes sell is not really necessary for me as I am not building such large things currently.
  5. A situation arose when, in the middle of an intensely productive building frenzy, that I discovered that I had none of these pieces in my inventory I did, however, have a bunch of these Therefore I took a Dremel with sanding disk and modded four of these to fit. It took less than 30 seconds to get four hacked pieces. So, my question is Would you modify a piece to make a MOC work?
  6. Hello, I have ordered bricks for 60 € at "Pick a Brick" and uploaded a Haul-Video to show, which 410 pieces I've got. I wrote down my experience (in german) - but the video is in English. Do you prefer bricklink.com - or do you use PaB, too? I found most of the bricks I need for my new MOC, I've got those in just five days. But PaB is "not cheap", I think. Best wishes Andres

  8. Hi there everybody. The Prime here. Name: Hafeez Age: 28 (14th March) Country: Malaysia My hobby, well I think like everybody else is collecting toys. My primary collection is Transformers. Lego is my secondary collection. I only collect Lego City stuff and also Lego Batman only. I like Lego City because it is kind of realistic. It's fun to see big displays of Lego City. I have some of the big sets already such as Passenger Train, Police Station, Fire Station, Garage. But I have no place to display them :( And also prices of Lego here in Malaysia are very expensive. :( For instance the Lego Police Station in retail is RM560. RM3 = USD1. Nice to meet you all. And I love the reviews of Lego sets here. :)
