  1. Hi, here's my LDD model of Captain Baloo's famous plane. I hope you like it :) Best Vaionaut Edit: @Mod: Please correct the typo in the Title (Disney's). Thx!
  2. "Now, shall you deal with me, O Prince! And all the powers of Hell!" Herein lies proof that I don't just show up to adjust conversation discussions , but that I do, in fact, build things too! This Sleeping Beauty creation was built for, and displayed at, Brickworld Chicago 2016. At the convention it won the award for Best Vignette.
  3. We wanted to try to animate LEGO at a different scale, so we brick built fish puppets and created a mashup of Disney, Pixar, LEGO and Finding Nemo. Happy to answer any questions you may have. Our LEGO ideas project can be found here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/147252
  4. Get "a-head" in life with advice from Shrunken Ned. Let Esmeralda predict your future, or let Fortune Red direct you to your fortune. All three can be found in Disneyland. Disneyland Fortune Tellers by Karen Metz, on Flickr Fortune Red by Karen Metz, on Flickr Fortune Red by Karen Metz, on Flickr Esmeralda by Karen Metz, on Flickr Esmeralda by Karen Metz, on Flickr Shrunken Ned by Karen Metz, on Flickr image by Karen Metz, on Flickr I haven't built the buildings where these mechanical tellers are located but have plans to do so in the future.

  6. I'm an old video gamer. I'm always playing with my old video games, such as Quackshot Starring Donald Duck, one of my favorite games on Sega Genesis. Today, I would like to present you a small MOC (Size 16x16) inspired from the game: MOC - Donald Quackshot by yannoch06, sur Flickr
  7. Donald only gets bills in his mailbox, and his neighbor Jones is standing in the background smiling scornfully. I tried to make the visual style similiar to the style I have seen in the Donald Duck comics I read during the 80s. The car is up as an LEGO Ideas-project, so I would appreciate if you had a look at that as well and gave it your support.
  8. Guys I am back! Probably no one remember me after my long gone from my last, which is also my first post around It's me who built the Stark Tower last year: http://www.eurobrick...opic=112042&hl= First off I would like to thank everyone who enjoyed my last post and all the nice words, I should have given more response on that post, but I don't wanna feel like "pushing my own post up" after a year... Anyway, I finally got time now, so I would probably be more active in posting MOCs, both new ones and those I have not shared before. This time, I have chosen one that is relatively new, built from last year, during the release of the amazing 21303 official set. I love the official set VERY VERY MUCH, but after all the budget taken by the two Super Heroes lines, there wasn't any left for me to get this adorable pal. Of course, one of the best thing about LEGO, is that you can build whatever you want, so like all the other AFOL would say: Let's build one ourselves! This is probably one of my favourite MOCs of all times, I am not sure what do you guys think yet, but personally i LOVE the result. My favourite part of the official set, was those realistic eyes of Wall-E, that really give the model a spirit, so that's also where I started. Then I thought, it wouldn't be as fun if it's just a small rendition of Wall-E that does nothing, after all, this character has been popular among the AFOLs for the past few years and there were already a lot marvelous takes on the characters, in all sort of sizes. Therefore, I decided that the belly must be able to be opened like the big one. And if it can open the belly, why not also do the sliding and ball-joint arms, with movable fingers? Of course, I would left the back of it without any detail as well, I mean, how can I? With a single night of hard work, I made this satisfying MOC, the only thing I wished I could have improved, is to include the treads, but I simply don't have the pieces. What do you guys think about it? Comments & Criticism are welcome as usual!
  9. Imgur gallery here! http://www.imgur.com/GPXJTBl,FiQqKyo,JHIVTpf,fD2PQFF,kFDNazV,NE4T119,FsSolmO,NWsKFcU Comments? Criticisms?
  10. This is my version of Donald Duck's car in LEGO. It was a challenge to build eventhough it is so small, but of course a fun challenge! I would appreciate if you also had a look at the LEGO Ideas-project here. Some history Donald Duck´s car made its first appearence in the movie "Don Donald" from 1937, and in 1938 it was introduced in the newspaper comics by Al Taliaferro. The design is originally based on an "American Bantam 1938"-car, but has changed slightly over the years and varies from different cartoonists. Its name "The 313" comes from the license plate that has number 313, which also is the day when Donald Duck was born (13th of March). The design is mainly inspired by the original fictiv car "Belchfire Runabout", which you can see in the last photo.
  11. Hi Can anyone supply the darkened Disney background please for a home made frame? Cheers

  18. So with all of the desired minfigures for this series, and only 18 slots, there will obviously be some left out. Who would you guys like to have? This also serves as a means of keeping the actual theme thread less cluttered. Confirmed characters are: -Mr. Incredible -Syndrome -Mickey Mouse -Genie -Ursula -Peter Pan -Captain Hook Rumored are: -2 unknown Princesses
  19. I've been meaning, since the Disney minifigures were first revealed, to make a few builds to go with them. Here is my first: The ticking crocodile. Never Smile At A Crocodile by Kodiak Sanders, on Flickr More details on my Flickr page. Let me know what you think!

  22. Click any image for a larger picture. Tinker Bell is an extremely popular character, originally created by J. M. Barrie, and currently owned by the Walt Disney Company. I believe fans of Disney and LEGO would love to build this rendition of her. In my concept model, her arms, legs, head, and wings can be moved to achieve various poses. I had thought about buying the pieces to build Tinker Bell in real life, but most of her 199 pieces do not yet exist in the colors I chose--such as the Light Nougat (a.k.a. Light Flesh) in her head, arms, and legs. If my concept of Tinker Bell were to be produced, it might be possible to use Brick Yellow (a.k.a. Tan), a more common color, in place of Light Nougat. However, after trying that in LEGO Digital Designer, I noticed that Tinker Bell's skin looked unnatural. In real life, Brick Yellow might look better than it does in LEGO Digital Designer. While designing my concept, I tried to preserve a realistic appearance while still allowing for movement of joints. The arms and head were especially challenging. Although my concept has brick-built eyes, I think custom decals would look better. Feel free to inspect my concept in LEGO Digital Designer. Here is the posed model, and here is a straight standing version. Please vote for my concept on LEGO Ideas. If you have friends and/or relatives that might like this model, please tell them to sign up and vote for it too. Thank you in advance for your support! -Toa Of Justice
  23. First off, I don't know if this is in the right place to discuss this in Lego Sci-Fi, but thought that as no one has discussed this before in a topic, that I would make a start. (Pics of my own Jim Hawkins custom minifig from Treasure Planet will be added soon) Right here goes. The reason of this appreciation/discussion topic about Treasure Planet (2002), is because I thought that any fans of the movie (like myself )might like to add their own thoughts about the movie, and may have created MOC's of the characters from the underrated Disney movie from 2002, and maybe the many different loactions used through out the movie but have yet to share. Another reason is for a nostalgia appreciation for anyone who watched, and likes the movie back then and now, and wants somewhere to come together on EB. To kick off Treasure Planet appreciation thread, is just the many morals used and showed in the 91 minutes of running time, and the many things covered from the comic side of the script, and the moments that always adds a tear whilst watching the movie on your own or with others. Share and discuss away. Edit: any chance of this topic moved to Culture & Multimedia forum
  24. So, there has been some Disney news lately, so I thought it would be time to start a general Disney discussion thread. The biggest news for me is that there is a new DuckTales series coming in 2017! Official announcement: http://blogs.disney.com/oh-my-disney/2015/02/25/this-is-not-a-drill-were-getting-new-ducktales-in-2017/ DuckTales was my favorite show as a kid, so this is great news for me! I'm glad that a whole new generation of kids will be able to enjoy this awesome show. But at the same time, I'm worried how they will update it. Disney hardly produces any traditional animation for their TV shows anymore, so there is a good chance that it will be CGI like Mickey's Clubhouse and some of their other shows, or even worse, Flash animation like 7D *shudder*. If they put enough effort into it, I think it could actually work in CG. For example, I quite liked Scrooge's rendition in Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas, but of course traditional animation is always preferred. Also, I really hope they don't change the theme song. It's one of the best and catchiest theme songs ever and I feel that any deviation would ruin it. With this and the live action Chip'n'Dale: Rescue Rangers movie next year, it seems that the Disney Afternoon is making a comeback. What other shows would you like to see return? I'm hoping for Darkwing Duck next (which I'm surprised they haven't brought back yet considering the superhero craze right now). Oh, and we got a trailer for Frozen Fever yesterday. I'm not interested in Cinderella (I don't see the point in making live action versions of Disney cartoons), but I wouldn't mind seeing this short film.
  25. After a non-stop 22 hours of work, I proudly present my version of the full first Star Wars The Force Awakens teaser trailer in glorious LEGO. 4 hours to shoot more than 1500 frames of animation at 29.97 FPS. 3 hours to build the landscapes and ships/vehicles.
