"Now, shall you deal with me, O Prince! And all the powers of Hell!" Herein lies proof that I don't just show up to adjust conversation discussions , but that I do, in fact, build things too! This Sleeping Beauty creation was built for, and displayed at, Brickworld Chicago 2016. At the convention it won the award for Best Vignette.

So, After having done my microfighter Hoth scene which went down quite well, I decided to do an Endor one. In a conversation that followed, I jokingly said I should do one with a Friends twist, and call it 'Friendor'. I wanted to create something that would, when on display, give girls something to enjoy looking at rather than something that could typically be perceived as what a male would normally enjoy. However my job position has taken a turn which means I won't be able to do anything to do with lego (or pretty much anything) for the next year, and so thought I would share this little start of it with you guys as I've no idea if I will manage to get round to it after I come back. So, I had planned to do a microfighter imperial shuttle. When I saw the Elves dragons the idea instantly popped into my head to crossover the dragon and imperial shuttle. This is what I came up with... I think you can probably see the slight nod to the shuttle The dragon could stand on its own 2 feet without the 2x2 boat stud on the bottom, but the 2x2 curved tile kept coming off as it has a weak clutch strength. So figured I would just use the boat stud, and have the tail help with stability while it is standing on its feet. In flight mode, it looks pretty good on a stand. It is generally a pretty sturdy build too. My only real issue i had with this was how to get a minidoll to sit in it infront of the main fin. This was the best solution I could come up with... I'm also not entirely satisfied with how the top of the main fin has turned out, but can't dedicate anymore money into this at the moment (surprising how expensive these colourful parts are!)More pics of it on my flickr. C&C welcome. Microfighter Star Wars/Elves crossover by Sam, on Flickr Microfighter Star Wars/Elves crossover by Sam, on Flickr Microfighter Star Wars/Elves crossover by Sam, on Flickr

As you escape from the dragon's onslaught, you find a mysterious device in the hills. It responds to your commands by moving around with gusto. With it, you hope to defeat the scourge that raised your village. However, to fight this fiend, you must trek across the lands, and the lands are filled with monsters. Monsters: A hydra in the swamp A nuckelavee in the waters. For those who don't know, a nuckelavee is a water spirit in the shape of a horse with a rider that spends most of its time as an intangible presence in the water. A manticore waiting for the right time to strike along the path A swooping cockatrice attacking from the skies A salamander in its slimey den A sphinx guarding the bridge A dragon surrounded by the burning forest Special features include an alternate path with special point spots, monster body parts that can be moved to block off paths (the hydra heads, the nuckelavee's horse head, the manticore's tail and the cockatrice's wings) and a swiping dragon's paw which can knock the ball right into one of the lava pits. Top view. The green spot is the starting point, the dragon's maw is the end and the yellow spots are optional bonus points. Yes, I checked, the dragon's wings fit in the maze. From this view, you can see the difficulties involved in choosing the bonus point route a bit better; amongst other things, you have to get out of the ditch formed by the salamander. I made various digital stickers for this project; the cockatrice's, the manticore, the nuckelavee and the sphinx's heads and the brick path. All in all, it was a lot of fun making this, and I hope you guys like it! Comments and criticism appreciated.

Hi. This is only the second time I've posted a MOC on Eurobricks, but I'd like to share a little scene I put together a few weeks back. "Investigate the old castle on your way back, there has been a report of smoke from it. It may be bandits..." An Unexpected Resident 1 by Magma Xenoliths, on Flickr An Unexpected Resident 2 by Magma Xenoliths, on Flickr I started putting together a dragon for our LUGs monthly build theme "mythical creatures", and having built the head realised I didn't have the time or pieces to finish it, so thought of a way to make the most of what I had built. I've wanted to try making a textured wall for awhile too. I have a lot of new-found respect for those builders who do it well, it was harder and more time (and piece) consuming than I thought it would be. Feedback welcome!

Parade of Chinese New Year celebrators with their fiery paper dragon. This was my entry on happening category in collaborative town display contest on our LUG Palikkatakomo Ry's exhibit on Model Expo 2016 last weekend. I won the category. As a (partially) Bionicle builder, I wanted to use some Bionicle pieces on my minifig-scale SYSTEM displays in this exhibit, and thus the dragon was born. More on Cyclopic Bricks.

I have finally completed it! Only issue is that eyes looks a little cross-eyed, but hey different posture from red and green. Picture is at bricklink forum https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=972034 (100k limit here is too small) Bricklink post also has details on parts changes if you wanted dragon in same design.

So, for a long time, there had been discussion about making a dragon for Macy here on the Eurobricks forums. I decided to see what I could do. Once I had figured out how to make the mace tail, it started to progress rather quickly, with the head and the main body being finished at the same time, after which it stalled while I tried to figure out the wings. Finally, though, it's done. This beast has 1400+ pieces, and is fully buildable. I expect the real life version to be done sometime in the summer. So here it is, Sir Chompsalot: Side view and size comparison: As you can see here, the legs have a great range of motion (using an internal gearing mechanism for friction), and the tail can be swung using the gear on the back. The little chest holds ammo for the two turrets. The mace tail tip is built around a LEGO Games die piece. The wing-rotors are built in more or less the same manner as the wheels of Jestro's Evil Mobile, and have a good range of motion. Two little blasters on the sides provide covering fire, and aerial assaults are handled by the dual six-stud shooters, which are mounted on turntables on castle turret pieces and can be manned by squirebots. As you can see here, Macy can sit either in the cockpit or stand on the dragon's head. Either place has storage for her mace and shield. Both the upper and the lower jaws of the dragon can move, and in general are supposed to resemble some kind of trash compactor. The forehead can hold a nexo power and the throat has a space to attach 2x2 round bricks for a flame/heat ray effect. The eyes are supposed to resemble giant versions of those the squirebots have. Hi everyone! I'm super excited for Nexo Knights, it's probably one of my favorite themes already. While we were discussing the theme in the Nexo Knights thread, someone suggested Macy (the red knight) could have a mace-tailed dragon. So I made my own version of it! As usual, I try to make my MOCs look like real LEGO sets. I apologize in advance for the photos, Bluerender's lighting can be a tiny bit shoddy and the bright blue was probably a bad choice. The minifigures I decided to include are Macy, a Flame Thrower, two Globlins, and a Scurrier. The entire set is 376 bricks, probably less if I were to build this physically due to the shield and Scurrier pieces not exisiting in LDD. Also, some of the leg joints would be built differently with new pieces. I believe they work for now. Macy's shield and mace are both "temporary" builds. The dragon has rotating stud shooters on each wing. The build is replaced because, again, no pieces in LDD. I'm sure if I were to build this physically I'd have to alter the end a bit, somehow add a knob that can be turned to shoot the studs. I tried making the dragon look as robotic as I could, so there's silver and all sorts of trans-neon reddish-orange bits. Macy's shield can be fit on the back with the two studs on the back of the shield. Her mace can be placed next to the beginning of the tail. Which, is the main reason I built this, the mace tail! It's hard to build a good enough looking tail that isn't too big and can be swung around to knock the enemy monsters off their feet! The monsters get a small Globlin catapult that can move around on its 3 legs. That's it for now, thanks for viewing! If you have any suggestions for some more Nexo Knights MOCs I could make, feel free to suggest them! Comments are greatly appreciated too.

Here is my Second part of the story and my second entry for the Frozen Beyond Contest : Mom is really Angry ! the first part of the story can be found in my first entry : Snow in the Enchanted Forest ?! GRRRRROWRH ! Noihe could not finish her sentence as a terrible beast made it heard. - AAAAH ! Screamed Faladrin, escaping with the egg. It is really a Frostbite Dragon egg ! And Mom is really Angry ! RUN AWAY ! - Run Away ! Yelled Noihe, dropping her weapons and running out of range of the frosty breath of the Mother Dragon. But only Walaheria stood up, facing the beast and using her magical sword she cut the deadly breath in two parts as simple as she would of an apple... - Run my Love ! I can manage her a short time... but, just enough to allow us to escape and be secure. Walaheria said to Faladrin. - We will need to reinforce our troups and be prepare for a bigger attack next. Said Faladrin, once out of range of the beast. - Yes, there is an abandoned outpost not far from here when we should hold position until the next Algus attack. Answered Walaheria. The beast continues roaming in the wild though... Beware if you are passing by her way ! Thank you for reading me and see you for the next part (and the end) of this story from The Frozen Beyond...

Was he greedy for power, or guided by higher though, or simply out of his mind? What made the old man, elder of the village, to leave behind the warmth of his house and climb up the mountains, to the moor cold and bare, which the cults of old had inhabited with ancient shrines, causes long forgotten? But there he went, and at the springs of the black stream he awoke what should not been disturbed. His fate remains forgotten; but since then has rain not ceased, nor have we had peace from the thunder and the lightning. The crops rot; The fields are flooded. Nothing will save us from the wrath of the Gale Serpent. Built for Palikkatakomo Ry's Monster contest. More on Cyclopic Bricks.

This MOC was built by my 12 year old brother. He's very happy with how this build turned out, there are full interiors in the buildings too. The dragon that Kendrick and Basil had heard about was ravaging the countryside. Targeting no specific kingdom his attacks were feared by all: More pictures can be seen here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=543185 He would appreciate any C&C

Fdrjornol is a legendary dragon to the Mitgardian clansfolk. They believe this dragon was responsible for clearing snow for the first clanspeople to build a settlement. It is believed that the dragon watched over them for centuries until returning to the mountain caves he calls home. The Elders of several clans prophesize that one day, when the clans are in grave danger, the dragon will return and save them, and scorch the lands of their enemies. I hadn't built a creature in a while, so I built this massive guy for the Tourney, a castle contest on Mocpages. Hope you like this little guy!

Here is our armored lego dragon. He is our final entry for our current Iron Builder which is centered around the metallic ribbed hose. We also used the ribbed hosing to go all the way through his body so we could hook him up to a propane torch! :D Here's a Video link to see him in action :) Thanks for stopping by!

For a Mitgardian Ranger, the taming of a dragon is a key coming-of-age and initiation ritual. The chosen dragon, who was assigned when the ranger was born, is starved for two weeks, then released into the wild. The ranger must then track and find the enraged dragon. The defining moment of the Dragon Trial is the actual taming of the beast. The Ranger must approach the dragon weaponless, and be judged by the dragon. If the dragon deems the ranger worthy, then the ranger has found a lifelong companion. If not... Well the dragon was REALLY hungry... Here Sir Infernum can be seen following in the footsteps of his brother, the head ranger, and taming a Snowvenom dragon. So this is a freebuild I made a while ago. Not much else too say! Thanks for looking!

Book II Challenge I Category A Dragon’s Blood The human Nimueh and her companion the Dark Horse have been traversing Nocturnus with warnings of the oncoming war. The Black Spire has spewed forth legions across the Darklands, destroying everything in their path. Very few of the smaller villages have any chance against the vial hordes. Nimueh: “They will be here before nightfall. You must leave now and make for one of the more defensible cities. Remain here and you will only meet death.” Village Elder: “We will not flee like cowards! We would rather stay and die then run!” “Wait…” a feeble voice whispered from the shadows. An old woman stepped forward and with a shaking hand held out a small vial. Nimueh took it carefully from her out stretched hand. “What is it?” With a gnarled finger, the old woman gestured towards Dark Horse, “The changeling can save us… with help from this, the blood of a dragon.” “How…?” Nimueh didn’t have time to wonder how the old woman new of Dark’s powers, the Spire horde was nearly upon them. The dragon’s blood would give Dark the extra power he would need to shift into something as great and powerful as a dragon. And with a dragon, they would decimate the Spire’s troop. Taking out her dagger, Nimueh approached Dark. He lowered his head in assent and allowed Nimueh to run the dagger along his shoulder, a small stream of blood flowed freely. She opened the vial and poured a single drop of the contents into Dark’s open wound. Drawing power from dragon’s blood, Dark’s form twisted and convulsed and stretched, black wings stretched above the villagers, and hot flames burst from his mouth. The old woman’s eyes gleamed “Go, crush our enemies and save our village.” Dark flew off to meet the horde. Nimueh and the villages followed to pick off the stragglers, and pile the burning bodies. C&C always welcome. Larger pictures on flickr.

I decided to give my previous dragon a nice makeover. (Especially since he didn't survive the drive back from BFVA13. ;) ) This version is much more lifelike and far stronger then the earlier version. I'm really quite happy with how this guy turned out! Just a free-build for Kaliphlin: Of all the various dragon species, Emerald green spitters are among the most tameable, and as a result have been hand reared in Peregrinus as part of their new aerial defense system. They are fast fliers, acrobatic and accept riders easily. Despite having no teeth, Emerald greens are fearsome in battle, as they spit accurate jets of highly corrosive acid on those unlucky enough to face them. (This is how they "pre-digest" their prey in the wild) However, even with these advantages, the training process is long and arduous. Both dragon and rider must exhibit total control and lightening reflexes in order to graduate to active duty. One of the more important tests is spitting accuracy and the ability to distinguish ally from enemy units on the battlefield. It seems that in this case, poor Daisy and Akmed still have many long hours of practice in front of them... Daisy should have concentrated on the targets on the left, leaving those on the right unscathed. Whoops... (I think she just sneezed) Assessor Harrod sighs deeply. "How about you wheel around and try that again, eh?" Some ex-target dummies. Daisy is determined to keep dilligently practicing until she is centremetre perfect with her aim, even on the move - she can't wait to take to the skies and pit her skills against the rebel Varlyian ships! Thanks for looking peeps! C & c welcome as always.

Just as the title says, would you like the vikings back? If yes, in what form? Like the last time with horned helmets and dragons and catapults? Or more realistic? I want them to be more realistic, with different helmets, different shield designs, of course the viking long ship, maybe a long house. And of course a lot of vikings, viking woman, kids, and more historical accurate stuff. I also don't mind the vikings comeback with the dragons and snakes and wolves, as long as they return! I love vikings! What is your opinion?

The Snowvenom Dragon is a mid sized winged dragon, of the Reptilim family. These large beasts are highly dangerous. Covered in venom filled spikes, these dragons are known for their razor sharp teeth, paralysis inducing claws, and a deadly stinger (located on the end of the tail). The Snowvemon Dragon, however, is a noble beast at heart. Some men of valor can tame the beast, but only if they are able to overcome the Dragon's steely will and prove themselves worthy. Mitgardian Rangers are known to raise and tame the Snowvenom Dragons. Here Sir Infernum's older brother, Rorark, is seen on the back of his dragon, who has been equipped with a saddle and razor sharp spears for battle. Yup, here's mah dragon! He's my entry to the Mount-up! challenge. He uses tons of Mixels joints, and is super posable! I also really love his color scheme. Hope you like it!

Stormbringer inspired this build and I borrowed a lot of his techniques. I'm pretty happy with how this guy turned out. Frost dragons are somewhat common in the northern sections of Mitgardia, but they're rarely tamed. They can breath ice and like most dragons, they continue to grow all of their lives. Those brave, or foolhardy, enough to try and train the dragons gain great respect if they are successful. The cost of failure, however, is death. A Frost Dragon is a terrifying beast to come across, as these Black Spire troops have found out. C&C welcome

At a gold mine in Gorr, peril strikes! A lesser Guylinea dragon is attacking this gold mine. Luckily, another famous dragon-slayer is there to save the day. (Because the pictures with my sigifg in them turned out terrible ) Well... to sorta save the day. I tried to make this a (fairly) realistic gold mine. From the mine-shafts further up the mountain, workers shovel the loose rock and ore into this chute. It slides into a barrel waiting below. The barrel is on a swivel, and pours the mixture into the spring below. The fast-moving water washes away the dirt and rocks, but the gold stays in the streambed. Workers strain out the filtered gold using a greased sheepskin. Yay history! (Yeah, I could have posed the miner better, but this was basically a last-second addition when I couldn't find a gold pan ) This waterwheel powers a set of bellows in the base of the tower, making the forge hot enough to purify the gold. Finally, the gold is shipped out to the major cities of Kaliphlin. The cave, with a stream flowing out of it. My apologies for the lack of water pieces inside, as well as for the un-pressed-down gaps in the rocks. The landscaping. Why is there a random wall of bricks there? Oooohhh yeeahhh. , baby(If you know how to embed videos here, kindly enlighten me ) UoP Credits: +1 Tree technique +1 Studs up rocks and cliffs +1 Manufacturing +1 Flowing Water Thanks for viewing!
