  1. I took my oldest set out of closet week ago. It's Designer set 4884 - Wild Hunters. ...and started building something cute out of it. I began with boobs, continued with body, arms, head and finally legs. I wanted her to be totally naked but I had to dress her little bit as I was lacking in tan bricks. Even she is not as curvy as I would like her to be she looks good and features good posability. So let me introduce you Woman in Bikini and High Boots. Do you like her?
  2. Firstly, I'm not sure if this belongs to the Sci-fi or the other themes, but decided the put on the latter as there isn't anything partciculary science fiction in the MOCs and they are not in minifig scale. I built these three steampunk girls partly inspired by the new ball joint system (ironically used only on one MOC). I have built many Bionicle characters and also SYSTEM Hobbit dwarves, so character building is kind of "my thing". These are in smaller scale than those, so it was quite fresh challenge. Miss Izzy Orchard is a coquette with adventurous mind and always useful utility belt. Gail Nealor Lyner is a heroine and adventurer. She always has her flinlock ready, and oh boy she's a fast puller. Cynthia Quegan Muskell is an engineer and airship pilot. She's the brains of the outfit and wears probably a bit more practical clothes than the others. Hope you liked the gang! There's more pics in flickr (1 2 3) and more stuff on my blog Cyclopic Bricks (1 2 3).
  3. From the depths of space comes...the Rogue Crew! Ostrich by masterdata449, on Flickr Ostrich is supposed to be the crew's navigator, but he they will get nowhere if he keeps turning his navigational sextant into a laser sword. Until the crew picked him up, he was second in command of the Ostrich Island Savages, but he gave up his position when the Space Troll offered to style his Mohawk. Venom Clown by masterdata449, on Flickr The Venom Clown is part cyborg, but that doesn't inhibit his behavior- he "clowns around" whenever he can! Even so, when the Rogues need to fight, he rushes to the forefront of battle...just to tease his opponents. He's quite shocked that most of his opponents find him freaky- all he wants is a good laugh! Gabooka by masterdata449, on Flickr Gabooka is the weapons expert amongst the Rogues. Although this makes him one of the most valuable assets to the team, he still wears the poor clothes of his home country. Probably so his expensive sets don't catch fire in battle. Captain R'o G'u by masterdata449, on Flickr Captain R'o G'u is the captain of the pirates...erm, Rogues. He insists on the the term 'Rogue,' especially since those with the title "Pirate" don't usually have a good ending. The Captain lost his lower tenta-tails years ago, but he replaced them with a robotic zero-G propulsion system and new tenta-tails. In space, no law-abiding citizen can stand in battle against R'o G'u! Space Troll by masterdata449, on Flickr They have a Cave Troll...erm, Space Troll! The Space Troll lost his left arm in battle on his home planet, but Gabooka replaced it for him sans the thumb, even with a built in blow-dryer for Ostrich's Mohawk. I ran out of time for the group shot, but I can always add it later if my entry gets picked for Round Two. EDIT:
