Would like to show you my smallest MOC that was parked on my table for a year and a half now. About a month ago MajklSpajkl saw it on our local exhibition and was thrilled :) He told me that I have to show this little monster here. So here it is :) Actually it's nothing special except that is tiny and can be played with. Regards

As soon as I started modding the Model A Hot Rod that comes with 75875, I knew I couldn't stop there. I decided that I needed to hit all of the different body styles for a Model A (Coupe, Sedan, Roadster, Pick up). This was an interesting challenge because there were some serious part limitations, but some of the best results come from that type of challenge. Here's a link to the black with flames coupe: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=134717 Other Speed Champions Mods: 2016 cars http://www.eurobrick...opic=122188&hl= 2015 cars http://www.eurobrick...36#entry2154620 As I built them, I experimented with different ways to handle the front bumpers, headlights, engines/exhaust and tail light treatments. Each one also has a different solution for the windshield. So here's the coupe for quick reference: Model A Sedan This one uses a "suicide style" front end treatment that puts the wheels farther out front. It also incorporates the little visor look that Model A's have over the windshield. Model A Roadster I opted to slam this one so the body is almost on the ground instead of the "hot rod rake" stance of the others. It also is intended to look like a Buick Nailhead V8 with a roots supercharger. Model A Pick Up The main thing for this one was to get away from basic primary colors and go for something that looked more vintage. To spice it up I went for Hemi gold accents on the engine and a wood plank bed. The air cleaner is made from a wheel and I used extra white border from the sticker sheet of 75875 to mimic an air filter element. Lastly, some shots of the Hot Rod garage.

Once again, I just couldn't be more pleased with this year's Speed Champion sets. As some of you will recall, I've been widening the standard Speed Champion cars to be 8 studs wide. I just prefer the aesthetic, and now my drivers aren't centered in what is supposed to be a 2 or 4 seat car. 2016 cars http://www.eurobrick...opic=122188&hl= 2015 cars http://www.eurobrick...36#entry2154620 The Model A was a special case because while it surely wasn't the scale that would necessitate 8-stud width, I didn't think it needed to be 6 studs either, so I went with 5, which keeps it a small old hot rod size, but is still more to scale than the tiny 4-stud configuration that comes with the set. In addition to the change in width, I've done a lot of detail work, from the engine to the back of the car. I didn't change much on the Raptor but did add to the garage pit area. This was so much fun I immediately began building more hot rods in this style and scale. Edit: Here's a link to the other hot rods. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=134719 Enjoy! For comparison, here is the stock version:

"Okay guys, this is a cool ride, you can let me down now. Guys? Guys!" We had a large modular town on a LUG exhibit couple of weeks a ago, and had some contests inside the collaboration. This was my entry in the vehicle category. It got the fourth place (with a tie). A gang of car fanatics supposedly saw Fury Road and got inspired. Unfortunately poor Larry ended up in the front. But someone got to do it, right? More on Cyclopic Bricks.

A Full Blown Engine, Visible Transmission, Retractable Hood, Adjustable Wheel, Repair Tools - these are just some of the specs of the new Hot Rod 27! If you enjoy my project and you'd like to see it on the shelves, please support it here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/129293 The Story: I've always loved inventing new Lego toys. A few years ago I began building a custom hot rod. I wanted to make a car that would not only look good, but that would also be realistic. That's how I gave it a transmission that goes from the full blown engine to the front wheels, as shown in the video: A few days ago I found out about Lego Ideas and I wanted to submit my car, but I had new ideas. I wanted to make it more playable. That's how I came up with the retractable hood and the adjustable wheel. I made it so that a minifigure is able to enter the cockpit and drive the car, and even wear a helmet. Furthermore, I added some tools near the cockpit, in case the engine malfunctions or there's a flat tire. It also has front lights and tail lights, a radiator in the front, lateral exhaust pipes, adjustable engine pistons, rear-view mirrors, a big gas tank and slick, wide tires in the back. Dimensions: 14 x 7 x 4 cm ( approximately ) With about 140 pieces, the Hot Rod 27 can become an affordable and easy to build custom car!

I'm hesitant to post this after sm 01 showed his Hot Rod - Lucky 13. That being said, the Skunk Hot Rod my first MOC with Power Functions. Two large motors provide rear wheel drive through an adder (differential). The steering is done by a servo motor. The elements are placed asymmetrically to lower the COG. The battery box is in the trunk and its switch is accessible through a swivel door. Suspension is independent in the front, trailing arm (is this the correct term?) in the rear. I used the small shocks for two reasons: the travel is supposed to be short, and I wanted the suspension to be preloaded about halfway. Because of this, you can see the car bounce up when you switch the travel direction rapidly. The car drives very well although the steering is very slack because of the multiple gears. If I were to rebuild this again, I'd place the servo where the engine should go and would hide the two L motors. Here are some pictures and a video:

I'm not entirely sure if this belongs here or in the Town section, but here goes: I knew from the moment that I first saw the carriage set, I just HAD to make something cool with those fancy golden wheels. What came to my mind after a few days of thinking on it was a Rolls-Royce/Dusenberg-styled Royal Roadster: A modern Princess needs a car, and one that can get her where she's going in STYLE! Those Brickforge printed shields sure came in handy, didn't they? ;) (Note: I couldn't find the license plate tile I could have SWORE I had, so I decided to use one of the money tiles, since it looks kinda like some of the classic car license plates I've seen in different places) Interior view showing the instrument panel. I couldn't fit in a floor shifter, so I'm just going to say that the gearshift lever is on the steering column, like most old-school cars. ;) Another interior shot, taken from the front to show the plush, pink interior. :D Pic of Laura, my Friends sig fig & Cinderella standing beside the car. I think the color scheme worked out pretty well, especially considering how poorly things were going early on in the build process... Finally, the first annual Friends Road Rally. Our contestants this year are Laura & Cinderella in her Royal Roadster, Jane & Stephanie in Stephanie's Cool Convertible and finally, Olivia in her glorified ATV, er, I mean Dune Buggy. :D Hope you guys like the build.

My very first Lego Cuusoo project got just published! Ed Roth´s Mysterion Show Rod http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/58699 Please give me some feedback and comments. I will tell you more. And please go to see and click the "Support"! :) ************************************************** Here's some details about making of the "Mysterion". I have tried to learn new techniques. The frame with holes is 3-wide while the front section is 5-wide. The body is 7-wide but the interior is 4-wide and the bubble is 6-wide. There's also some SNOT design, for example the mismatching headlights, V8-engines, side panels, rear lights and top hinges. And as in the many recent creations there's no visible studs. It is also kind of "modular" as seen in the picture. This was fun to build and The Mysterion is also so far my most advanced creation. Hope you like it! :) *********************************************** Additional pictures of the real car.

Hello everyone! I'm Proud to show my latest MOC. A 1932 Ford Hot Rod, black with red interior. Almost 7 months in the build! I'm very pleased with the results and achieved everything that I wanted to do. My goals were: Tudor style with removable bonnet revealing a detailed engine. Opening doors and boot (trunk) RC Realistic chassis and live axles all round Black Powered by 2 x XL motors, 1 x servo for steering and 1 x PF lights. I used duct tape to make the 5 spoke rims. Hope you enjoy the video! Any questions or comments are welcome. Here are some more pics.

This is my second Cuusoo project. The first one is also a hot rod, which you can see here. That one is a large scale classic American hot rod. My latest design here is a much smaller pickup truck, which I think will appeal to a wider market. My goal was to come up with something that hasn't been done yet and would fit well in the Creator theme. There are, and have been, many vehicles, but no Creator hot rods (to the best of my knowledge). You can see a full description on the Cuusoo website and a detailed gallery of pictures on my flickr page.

Hi all, some of you might have seen this already on Flickr or on Brick Town Talk but I thought it might be of some interest so I decided to upload it here, too. This is the first step of a bigger project which is meant to feature the cars. This part (I've called it "ER0L's Garage 1.0") consists of a 50s style Diner with a sign and a small gas station (rather part of it). And there is a new Rod, too, which is called Baby Blue. The project will be continued, but since this part took such a long time (being my first non-automotive stuff) I rather won't tell any details. I'll add it here when there is a "2.0 version" or something There are some traces of different stuff ("Cars", "Friends Park Café") in it which I tried to melt into something new. It's not meant as a design study, but as a functional thing - something being used by minifigs. That means that if there is a barstool they must be able to sit on it - even if more beautiful barstools can be imagined. The diner has a detachable roof and a detachable back. The main point here might be the slanted columns to get a 50s appeal. Surprisingly this can be done without stressing the structure in any way. Some details: Wurlitzer (refers to several known designs, but the upside-down front is probably a new aspect) “Cars” Bar with snotted napkin dispenser (own design) some "Cars" furniture which I designed some months ago V8 Diner sign (own design, the V8 idea is taken from 8487 Flo’s V8 Café, but modified) another sign above the entrance door gas pump (bracket-based, rather looks like something already known, but I couldn’t find an exact reference) The fridge is taken from 10197 Fire Brigade (slightly modified, I couldn't think of a better design), the bubble-gum machine from 3061 Friends Park Café, just like some of the little things a diner needs. Some more pics: The Rod named Baby Blue is based on the Vintage Truck (see http://www.eurobrick...25#entry1416045), but turned out to something quite different. The main point here is the sun shield which is fixed with some upside down technique inwards. Using the red crowbar as an exhaust might be a new aspect, at least I haven't seen it before. That's about it so far, thanks for looking, C&C welcome as usual. Pics are linked to Flickr, some more pics of the rod you can find here.

Hmmm, posting this in the scifi or the town section of the forums...? I'll let karma decide. Anyway, enjoy. "Fukushima, karmacrazy! Warboys! Warboys!" Karma; a Hot Rod inspired by 'Mad Max: Fury Road'. More on my Flickr photostream.
