Life is never easy at the Temple compound, but everyone is alive. I go riding with Gwendolen around the island sometimes, I had heard tales of ancient and powerful artefacts from the monks. They sometimes found objects they couldn't explain while they were digging in the catacombs. On one of our rides we came across an ancient statue, weathered, eroded and nearly covered by the sands. I don't know who built it, but maybe it's a clue to Historica and to defeating Revolword. Yours Aye, Rasputin

Most of Kaliphlin has a Mediterranean or North African climate, but the northern parts are more temperate and along the border to Avalonia there are lush forests. Deep inside the forest north of Eastgate, Kaliphlin soldiers are patrolling underneath the pine trees on a fine spring morning. What used to be a quiet borderland to the friends in the lands of Avalonia, nowadays is a dangerous area since there are both orcs and worse things hiding inside the forests...

Somewhere in the Siccus Badlands, not far from the Arkbri River, is an ancient watchtower is located on top of a spire of rock. It is now in the hands of the Arkbri Falcons, a band of mercenaries led by the notorious Ediz Falconi. Right now the AF are fighting for the salvation of Kaliphlin against the Hand of Corruption forces, or at least fighting them because Sir Gideon and his wealthy friend Emad ibn Sohail al-Haboob has paid them a lot of gold to do it. The AF are using the tower as a base of their operations in the area, and have so far been quite successful in stopping some of the Hand's smaller raiding parties. The locals call the tower "Falcon's Nest", both because of its inhabitants and because of its appearance. The tower is easy to defend as there is no way up except by a rope ladder which the defenders can easily raise, and they are also stocking up on provisions to be able to withstand some time surrounded if a larger enemy force would appear. The rope ladder can be lowered to allow access: Bringing in provisions to the small garrison: Steps hewn in the rock, once they extended all the way to the top but some defenders centuries back decided to remove most of them

The peaceful town of Groenby in southern Avalonia has been invaded by the Hand of Corruption, and even Victor Revolword himself is there to perform some dark rituals with his acolytes, involving the sacrifice of innocent villagers. The sturdy pallisade was no match for a well-aimed fireball from Victor. This is the town ruled by Sir Derrik of Groenby, who himself managed to survive the destruction with some of his men and join forces with his old friend Sir Gideon to continue the fight against Revolword. Right now they are going towards Queenscross, hoping to aid in the coming battle there. A peaceful town, but something is definitely wrong... A sinister gathering in front of a burnt-out house Victor is leading some kind of ritual, his staff glowing golden Meanwhile, Hand of Corruption forces are seeking out survivors I adapted this MOC a bit to fit in the GoH world, and since it is showing what has happened to the home of one of my side characters I am posting it as a Kaliphlin freebuild, even though the setting is in Avalonia.
