Location: E11 Fascini Cluster Tags: Exploration Last time, in Ender's story: A Space Saga Begins Is it Mine Mine? Okami Bike Kawashita Hummer Where Was I Supposed to Be? After being buzzed, attacked, chased, and otherwise humiliated by a group of Emboians with advance technology; Ender was tired. He headed back to one of Kawashita's capital ships stationed in the Fascini Cluster to take a break. He met up with Jack who told him about a new piece of equipment that had become mandatory for all Kawashita cruisers to install. It was called a holodeck, and Kawashita had purchased a mass order from Octanmart and had been installing them over the past few weeks. The board had received complaints that Kawashita employees, in their allowed one-out-of-every-fifteen days off, had a hard time actually relaxing. They found that the holodeck allowed the employees to feel like they were relaxing more efficiently in the short time they had. That, and Octanmart had a very convincing sales person... Ender loaded up what was listed as a "classic" space adventure. Our hero, the intrepid Spaceman Spiff found himself stranded on a desolate planet... 24 hours later Ender was back to work, looking forward to his next holodeck session.

Name: Meeting the Team P1 Location: E11 Tags: Civil, Spaceship After much discussion the Kawashita Main Branch has decided to send reinforcements to support the Andromeda Branch. Dispatching the Guardian of Desires, a new science-class research vessel by Kawashita's R&D subdivision Murakumo laden with new prototype tech to be field tested. Come in, ah yes the new security officer, Gattsu wasn't it? Aye sir, I was told to report by your office as soon as I arrived on the Guardian. Do excuse the mess, we had to leave a.s.a.p., well then I believe I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Kasshu Domon, Captain of the Guardian and second in command of Kawashita's subdivision Murakumo. I'll be assigning you to one of our R&D teams, Ypsilon, you'll provide security to the team both on this ship as well as when they're send out on field excursions and you'll be under direct command of the team leader Dr. Wei Fu. I'll also be signing you up for combat training, while I'm aware of your past as a Mercenary we do need to make sure your in top condition. Of course sir, I understand. Good, then head for Hangar bay 5 to meet your new co-workers, your dismissed. ... Sir permission to speak freely? Granted, what is it? Shouldn't he be informed on his real assignment as well as the true nature of Murakumo? Soon, when the time is right. Also did you manage to get access to his file yet? Yes sir, but... something is wrong, the majority of his file is scrambled. With the exception of his most recent venture as member of the Mercenary Unit, Taka no Dan, all other information is unreadable. Hmm, let me try my executive password *1L0v3H3ll0K1tty*, this is peculiar indeed only the Main Branch's board of directors could close of access for Murakumo executives. Mission: To search the Awesomnium rich asteroid belt of the Fascini Cluster. Tags: Kawashita. Pilot. Spaceship I've chosen a extremely small ship for this scout mission. I though about taking one of the larger class ships but with the corporation in a downsize mode right now and Aweseomnium being a little tight I figure I'll take the Firebat scout ship So small and maneuverable it can zip around the asteroids as if they weren't even there. It's also really, really comfortable. I can lie down and take a nap while the autopilot does the work. Oh, and folding wings, every ship should have folding wings. A tiny rear engine keeps it moving along at a decent pace Thanks for looking! I have been building a giant GI Joe display with Lego the last few weeks so my MOC's here have been obviously sparse. I finished the Firebatand thought it fit in really well here. Hope you like it

Location: E11 - Fascini Cluster Tags: Spying Log #005 - 30 Novembrinali 3815 After attending our new CEO's board meeting, I went to communications on asteroid PK534 to gather new information that might help me out planning my next planet to target. Down in the server chamber of communications, I asked around about the utmost interesting and strange messages that have been intercepted for the past three months. What I got was a very precarious message that came from F08 Raduon. One of our communication beacons have been hijacked by a transceiver sponsored by Octan Corp. But wait a minute. Since when do we have access to F08? This is very unusual to my understanding and could be a propaganda like diversion, which I will report. Looking for other subjects then Octan Corp. eavesdropping on us, I gathered some intelligence from a planet I will certainly have interest in… Complete view:

After the Commodore made his escape, Koro followed him through winding corridors. He spared no thoughts to Raven or her men, all his concentration was bent on not letting the Commodore escape yet again... Dust Demon Base The Hamilton Belt - 3185 Tags: Special Operations Koro came upon him in the access corridor for a small hangar. He stood there, surrounded by his goons waiting for the transport that would put him in the proverbial wind. He was confident, Koro gave him that much. He'd ditched his armor and didn't even bother to raise his pistol. He smirked when he saw Koro enter view. "Why bother, tin man? You know there's no prison in Andromeda that can hold me." "This time, we're going to do this my way. No prisons." "You're completely outnumbered. Even you can see the futility." "Just who the quasar do you think I am?" "Well, if you insist. I may as well enjoy some entertainment before my transport arrives." "Time for a..." There was a hiss and a click only he could hear as Koro's faceplate slid into place. Full battle mode, no holding back. One of the Commodore's goons turned and spoke to his boss. Koro barely heard as his microfilament-edged katana slid through another suit of cheap power armor. "Boss. Permission to deal with the enemy cyborg." Koro was done with the goons. He sized up the Commodore's last two bodyguards. "Yes, they're cyborgs. Like you." "Not like me." "Get him!" "Argh! What do I have to do to get good help in this megablocking galaxy!" "Some cyborgs. It was cute that they had matching haircuts." "Maybe we can--" "Don't even start with me." "Fine then. See if you can dodge a shot at THIS range!" Koro knocked the Commodore's pistol away and then decked him in the face. "You're finished." "No! It can't end like this!" "Die with some dignity. Andromeda won't miss you at all. All the pain you've caused ends right here." Sometime later... "Holy crap." "Raven. Took your time. Nice hair." "Shut up, Koro. I was just blown up. I'll be in a med bay for weeks once these stims wear off." "Well, you're just in time to pay your respects to the Commodore. I finished the job, just like I said I would." "You killed him. I expressly forbid that. You're going to face the music for this one, Koro. This time, Narbilu and your record won't protect you from learning a valuable lesson in loyalty." "Don't bother. You're also just in time for me to tender my resignation from the Kawashita Group." "Well I don't accept it." "What!? Shouldn't you be throwing a party or doing back-flips or something?" "You're a good agent but you need to learn some manners. Besides, we own too much of your body for you to quit. You belong to me and the company and you're going to go where I put you." They stared at each other over the bodies of their enemies, as if those very bodies told the story of the vast difference in philosophy and methods between these two former colleagues. Now, Raven was the boss and Koro still just a cog in a vast machine. She willed him to let go of his stubbornness for once. He willed her to realize he was more trouble to her than he was worth. It was a stalemate. "Fine. Where?" "What?" "You said I'll go where you send me. So where is that going to be Raven-sama?" "I'll figure out what to do with you later. Like I said, you're a good agent. Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Land Vehicle - Great work finding and securing Commander Turtle. – What will you do with him now. - He will be transferred to Cell block B until we can arrange some kind of exchange with the Kawashita Group. Walk with me I would like to show you something. AG Week 25 by Steven Jeseritz, on Flickr - Before we return Turtle to the Kawashita Group we are planning on using this opportunity to spy on them. Our intelligence tells us that Commander Turtle loves vehicles with large engines. Down there we are working on The “Kawadillac”. It is an old hover car we captured during the first Sorn conflict. - Wha…. - Lets go down and take a look. - What do you all think? - Looks great. Would you please show SpacerSteve some of the upgrades? - Well first off we upgraded the motor with some unnecessary chrome details and more horse power then anybody needs. - We also attached a device that converts the normally clean exhaust into carbon emissions. It seems that Commander turtle wanted each Kawashita vehicle to emit this carbon to gradually warm the planet. - Truly a noble act! - That seems a bit…. – Now lets look over here - What is this? - oh that is you spy suit! - We spared no expense on the mask. - Here is you mission. Location: Marden Tags: Science, Kawashita I arrived on Marden and despite being over 50 meters away from my ship I could still smell the unmistakable stench of jet fuel. I made a mental note to get my ship repaired. I turned on my newly constructed Space Mining Probe (SMP) and it slowly started penetrating the thick, abundant layer of snow. I secretly prayed that we would hit as it were "the jackpot" and find any resources that would be useful to my corporation Kawashita. The SMP made the same whirring noise as it had done when I tested it back in the lab. It was the sort of whirring noise you would expect from a computer that was on its last legs.

Location: D10 - Hamilton Belt Tags: Vehicle, Military Log #004 – 12 Novembrinali 3815 I've been absent for months... Let's say I overslept when I was in hibernation... Together with Oswald, an assistent and co pilot of mine, we're assigned to the new Robo Drill Truck program. Our jobs are to see If nothing goes wrong and meanwhile scout ahead for space pirates or unfriendly aliens that want to put a hold on our program. The RDT's work very fluently for their first job. Their AI is very keen yet straigt forward; they keep track of undiscovered Awesomnium and drill and collect where nescessary. Oswald's seems to be serious, but he has some humor as well. He's stating why I don't wear the orange suit, hence my family name. He's also wondering why there are no robots taking our duties of guarding and exploring. I'd rather trust humans then military AI programs that can go haywire by a virus or overcomplicated and riducilous reasoning. Maybe turning against us, you know... Mission : K-D10 The Hamilton Belt Trying to get back to work after a long hiatus I have enlisted some new employees to help with supplies. They work harder than the red shirts I have and don't seem to die all the time. Easily identifiable as not Octan or MANTIS, these orange and white uniforms should confuse everyone. They are clumsy at times though.... I don't know what is in the rocks, but I've been told it is worth something to someone I sure hope the corporation is ok with my little extended vacation I went on.

Okami Bike Kawashita Hummer After his less than fruitful time in the Fascini asteroids, Ender decided to pursue some sightings of odd aliens on Marden. He would have asked Hiro to accompany him, but Hiro had seemed pretty reluctant to pursue the aliens without some tougher tech. After running into another one of the alien's robots, Ender was inclined to agree. Maybe he should have stayed in the asteroids. OoC: Credit for the robot design again goes to flickr user markwisski. Also, no one is driving the robot so if it doesn't count for vehicle I understand.

Location: E11 Fascini Cluster Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle Last time, in Ender's story: A Space Saga Begins Is it Mine Mine? Okami Bike As Ender rode across the desolate asteroid he sent off a background request on Hiro Nakamura to Shinra. He figured he'd need help chasing down these aliens and he knew Hiro would be up to the task. Almost immediately his request was returned with a positive note granting Ender permission to bring Hiro on as part of the Okami Force. It seems Shinra had already been looking into Hiro as a likely candidate to help them figure out what the aliens were after. After searching for a couple more hours and coming up with nothing he rendezvoused with Hiro. After parking his bike in Hiro's ride, Ender joined Hiro in the atmospherically sealed cockpit. They set the scanners to locate alien life and set off across the asteroid. Soon their scanners had picked up something worth investigating. It looked like the aliens were cornered and Ender was just about to put on his helmet to go confront them when something jumped over the rocks. The robot had super strength and pushed the hummer away from the aliens, allowing them to escape. After dumping the hummer on it's side, the robot ran off leaving Ender and Hiro stranded until someone could come and help them right their vehicle. The answers they were looking for regarding the aliens would have to wait... OoC: Credit for the robot design goes to flickr user markwisski.

Location: Sorn Tags: Science, Exploration Mission Log Recording - "This is Dr. Steven Quin Livingston with my thirteenth weekly mission in Andromeda. For this mission I have been asked to go back to the waters of Sorn and continue to work on understanding how Awesomium interacts with the environment. While swimming in the open water letting the built in instruments in my suit collect data, my eye catches a possible Awesomium vein directly below where I was swimming. My passive scans so that I am not alone. It appears that Matris also has interest in this Awesomium vein. Time to head back to the base."

Location: E11 Fascini Cluster Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle Last time, in Ender's story: A Space Saga Begins Is it Mine Mine? After Octan had finally agreed to continue expanding like parasites on a different set of asteroids, and after M.A.N.T.I.S. had been thrown down the mine shaft (the only way to keep her from killing everyone in sight), Ender headed out after the alien craft he had seen. Being a part of a super-secret branch of the Kawashita company had it's privaledges. He was able to call in an airdrop of one of the new bikes one of the Okami scientists had come up with.

Location: E11 Fascini Cluster Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle, Civil Last time, in Ender's story: A Space Saga Begins Hiro had been working the winch at one of Kawashita's mines on one of the larger asteroids in the Fascini Cluster when he was "approached" by an Octan employee. "Excuse me," Octan said, "I'll be claiming this asteroid for Octan now, you need to leave." "Sorry Octan," answered Hiro, "You've been in-system for too long. It's our turn to be here now." "No, no, no," Octan continued, "That's not how we work at Octan. Once we've expanded to a planet or asteroid belt, we never go back. So you can leave, or you can join Octan. We are always hiring" he said with a smile. Another voice broke in, "You both need to drop your weapons and leave!" "I'm here to claim this asteroid in the name of M.A.N.T.I.S." the newcomer continued. "You don't understand!" shouted Hiro. "Octan is the enemy here, not Kawashita! Octan is the one who controls half the galaxy!" "I don't care" answered M.A.N.T.I.S. "Do I look like I care about strategy? All I care about is killing you both!" Meanwhile, the winch had finished bringing Ender up from the bottom of the shaft. "Um, guys? Do you think we could figure this out so I can stop hanging here?" Things seemed to be at a standstill when they all heard an odd engine noise approaching. The strange spacecraft was flying low over the asteroid's surface. Really low! Everyond threw themselves on the ground, except for Ender who could only hang and watch. Ender had never seen a spacecraft like that one before. Maybe this was the alien race that had been causing Kawashita so much trouble. He was going to have to do some more investigation... right after he helped Hiro regain control of their asteroid! OoC: I am not happy with the alien craft, but I didn't have time to design something better. It looked a lot better in my head! Nevertheless, here is another picture of it if you're interested:

While swimming outside one of our long term underwater bases a Propeller Fish, which is a local creature of Sorn similar to an Earth octopus glides by the spot that I am working. Some time ago... Koro had waited until the Skip-Speeder stopped and Jackson got out to take a wee. The poor fool had never even known anyone else was there. He didn't watch as Jackson bled out. He was too busy getting an earful from Raven over how he chose to deal with the treacherous bugger. "We needed him alive. Haven't you ever heard the word 'interrogate'?" "Do you spell that with an 'I'?" "I'm serious. There's tying up loose ends, and then there's this. There's "eliminating traitors with extreme prejudice" and then there's whatever it is you think you're doing." "I'm eliminating traitors with extreme prejudice." "Dammit, Koro. I know you don't answer to me but you seriously need to think before you stab. Next time, call me first... not after." "Yeah we'll see-- oh, she disconnected." Weeks later... Secret Mountain Hideout Marden - 3185 Tags: Special Operations Koro liked to come home every now and then. Because he kept all his stuff in a mobile bunker, he could plant "home" wherever he needed it to be. These days, that meant Marden but he had a funny feeling it was about to change yet again. All he'd wanted to do was log in to World of Roawia for twenty minutes to run some dailies with his Level 75 Lenfaldian Knight. But it wasn't meant to be. There was a call coming in. "Hello Koro. Long time. You miss me?" "Yeah. I miss all my old friends." "Then you're going to be happy I called. You remember the Dust Demons?" "Yeah. They've been quiet for weeks now. Something new happen?" "The Commodore went into hiding after what happened last time we took a run at them. Now he's back." "Please tell me we're going to finally close the book on these quasars." "Quasars? You been hanging around Bonnie again?" "Uhhh. No comment." "Whatever. Anyway, yeah, we have a go order on the base. We're going to take it and hopefully the Commodore along with it. Then it's over with the Demons. I know I'll sleep easier... but Koro? We're going to do this one right, you understand me? That means it's my Op and my rules." "Your Op. I get it. Can we get to work now?" "Absolutely. Get to Goshi Junction. My team and I will hook up with you there." "Understood." BUILDER'S NOTE: The first build is just a flashback to reconnect Koro to where things with the Dust Demons left off. My actual build for the week is Koro's "apartment" on Marden. I didn't claim Spying this week because even I can't make the logic of that work. This is a "connective tissue" build and story.

Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Spaceship, Driver, Vehicle, Land Vehicle Within Kawashita there are many branches that make up the larger whole of the company. Some of them are publicly known and act as the face for Kawashita, selling robotics, space ships, and other technological goodies. Other branches are only known within the company because they handle tedious paperwork or other menial jobs. But there are other branches that most people, even those of Kawashita, don't know about. One of these companies is Shinra. After his last mission, Ender found himself summonded to one of Shinra's command ships currently located in the space around Sorn. On board The Limit Break Ender entered the conference room to find Cloud standing against the wall and two Kawashita executives staring at him. "I hope I have not done anything to dishonor the company" began Ender. Since he had never heard of them before, and did not know if Shinra was the branch that handled quite, permanent dismisals from Kawashita, Ender thought it best to play it safe when meeting with them for the first time. "Not at all Ender" began the man, "Quite to the contrary. Cloud has told us of your many skills." "Including single-handedly stopping M.A.N.T.I.S. in the Hamilton Belt recently" chimed in the woman "We need people of your caliber." The man jumped back in, "That's why we want you to become a part of the Okami Force." "I am honored by your offer, but I've never heard of them before" stated Ender. "That is good" said the woman, "for else we would not have done our jobs properly. You see, we act in secret whenever the good of the company needs to be done, but perhaps would not be publicly accepted. Those who call themselves Okami are in every sector of Kawashita. We all have different talents and levels of skill, but we are all dedicated to the good of the company above our own personal glory." "Your present duties or assignments would not change" stated the man. "You would just need to be ready to be called upon when needed. Specifically, we have been facing a threat from a certain Alien race found on many of the planets under our control. They have been causing almost as much trouble as M.A.N.T.I.S., but we have been keeping it from reaching any of the press. We have no target as of yet, but when you are needed we would call for you. Can we count on you?" Ender bowed deeply and said, "For the good of the company, yes." "Excellent," the man continued, "Cloud will show you to your quarters and brief you more on Shinra. We will drop you off at your next assignment. While we travel you will find plenty to occupy yourself with in the labs." Ender turned to go but was interrupted. "And one more thing, we ask that you recruit anyone else you think would be helpful to our cause. Just send us a message after making initial contact and we will run the usual background tests. That is all." On the way to Ender's quarters Cloud had given him the rest of the facts about Okami Force. It was a branch to be reckoned with for sure, Ender concluded. It gave him much to think about as he traveled on The Limit Break. He spent the rest of the time working on a new mech he called the Banshee. Working on it gave him time to think about who of his friends he would try to recruit first. OoC: I counted this as a "Driver" build since Ender is "driving" the mech. If that's too much of a stretch, feel free to remove it.

In addition to exploring, Rose had been teaching Ender how to fly. Now it was time for a crash course in attacking and evasive maneuvers!

Undisclosed Location Guinevere - 3185 Tags: Spying, Special Operations Koro was glad to get away from higher society for a while. Back out in the field with a hot ride and a new planet to sneak all over. And would you look at that, he planted his listening post just in time to sit back on his bike and watch the Tsurugi-Gs do a fly by in low atmo. Beautiful sight. Good to be back out there.

Location: A06 - Guinevere Tags: Science, Exploration Mission Log Recording - This is Dr. Steven Quin Livingston with my tenth weekly mission in Andromeda. For this mission I have been asked to go to Guinevere and explore a network of caves. I entered into the caves loaded down with all kinds of sophisticated mapping equipment and tools to detect small quantities of gold. Within about 90 minutes I found a large vein of gold ore that was begging to be removed. I left the equipment in the cave and returned with all the gold that I could carry. I would need to return with different tools. Comments and criticism are welcome.

Beltar; Yeah, yeah yeah, my arm is gushin’ out blood if you haven’t noticed! Robin: Shoot. Kraig: We are surrounded! Jeb: Everyone stop. Just wait. All of them would be branded criminals in Kawashita…if they weren’t already. Jeb: I’m sorry, but- *Poof* Beltar: Screw Octan. And Mantis. And Kawashita. Lauren: That sonuva- Robin: Look my friends, a mustache-man approaches. Beltar: Doctor Markam, and your little slave, Mr. Petere. Markam: Silence. I helped save your life! All of the guards near them grabbed all of their equipment and threw it in a pile… Markam: Madame, would you please remove Lauren from this… disturbance. Madame Kawashita: As you wish. Location: D08 Angornal Tags: Vehicle, Driver, Exploration While pandas of a different kind had been spotted on Arium Major, Ender tested out the new Red Panda mech the boys in the Kawashita lab on Angornal had cooked up. It came equipped with all the tools needed to cut through the forests found on many of the islands on the planet. Which was perfect since Ender had also been tasked with exploring one of the chains of islands near the main contingent of Kawashita colonists. And while the alien activity on the plant was said to be sparse, it never hurt to be packing a little fire-power. All in all, Ender felt the mech was ready for use on any suitable frontier.
