Hello all, For my latest MOC I wanted to build something totally different from what I'd built before; both to confront new challenges and to avoid comparisons. (not to mention a serious depletion in bricks in a lot of key colours after my last build hugely limited my colour selection!) So this is my LEGO rendition of the Fortress of Solitude, based on its depiction in the original Superman movies. For anyone not too familiar with superhero lore, the Fortress of Solitude was created with a shard from the Planet Krypton and hidden in the remote Arctic. It's Superman's home-away-from-home. The model used 18,684 pieces, took 160 hours to build and was completed last week. To see more of this model and my other models, go to: Janet VanD's Gallery

Hello All, I started with a creation of Batman II. I lost a bit of inspiration to keep going. It is a building that serves as a hideout for the villains of Batman. In the basement to find the loot. On the ground floor the villains meet and there is a commotion going with catwoman. On the first floor, I am trying to create an illusion that was created by Scarecrow. I need to find some ideas for the inner wall to make it more scarier. Here is the link to the pictures. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=543225 Now I'm a bit of my ideas around. I hope you like it so far. Greetings, Sander

Lex Luthor has improved his LexBot and is ready to take on Superman again! With a fully loaded K-Cannon and a supply to last, he is ready to take on the alien once again! I did like the set from a while back, but mostly because it supplied some parts I could use to build something better. I can't recall if it stands taller than the original, but I have bulked it up and added armaments and armour. Then I swapped the figure from the set with the one from the promotional polybag from LEGO Batman 2. Comments, critique and etc welcome.
