Just wondering, has anyone heard whether TLG will release a second wave of 5 Mini Modulars just as they did for the first 5 modulars a number of years ago? I really enjoyed that set, almost as much as building their bigger brothers. Since we are now counting 10 modulars I can imagine the next 5 mini modulars are due...

Hello Townsfolk! We thought it would be nice to have a General Discussion topic. A topic where you can make suggestions to us, we can discuss things with you all, and where we can make small announcements relating to the Town Forum. This is where we'd love to hear about the things you like about the Town Forum, suggestions of things you'd like to see (or see more of), and where we can announce any changes to the Forum or give news about upcoming contests and events. We'd love to hear your thoughts! The Town Staff.

Hi All, I've been working and a big project over the last few months and thought it was time to start sharing. My plan is to build (almost all done) all the commercial buildings of my home town of Maclean NSW Australia. The town was established in the late 1800's early 1900's and has some beautiful architecture from all era's. There is really only one main street which make the task so much easier. Some of the buildings have interiors whilst other are just facades. All the buildings (complete with roads cars and other goodies) will be coming together for a BIG display at a local school Fete coming up in October. There is around 30 buildings in total but I won't bore you with all of them just the good ones. Hardware Store with interior. More detailed pictures of the Hardware Shop Click Here. Originally a Bank, now a solicitors and offices. Built in 1878 is the oldest building in town. Commonwealth Bank Building complete with ATM. Palace Arcade was an Picture Theatre in it's day. This one is a favorites and I'm working on an interior at the moment. Will post pictures soon. Here's a little comparison photo. A Pub with interior. That's all for now, but for those interested in the town I'm sure you can find my little site dedicated to the build. Regards Brendan

Hi Everyone, I am struggling to get the best out of the tables surface in terms of layout... and I am not very happy with this one, any ideas that could make it a bit more attractive??? The prerequistes are, the Town Hall should stand alone, the train is a must, water not (at least not yet). Actually I had layouts on smaller surfaces that looked more realistic, more dynamic, i.e the modulars created the impression of a bigger city, maybe because there were more "angles", more streets crossing each other.. Anyhow, thank you for your feedback and advises! photo (14) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (23) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (18) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (20) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (21) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (27) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (28) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr photo (25) par SwissBrick, sur Flickr Any ideas welcome, will post some updates if modifications are made following your advises, thanks again!
