  1. [pid][/pid] 255A Note to self: Throwing random stolen Artifacts into random pits on giant alters is never a good idea. Temple Boom - Skara Kikos by Takkata1, on Flickr
  2. (Update November 15th) Aloha! as Kabel is missing a decent pirate beach, here's an update: Some of my friends are having cake on the beach: And something that happened to Emmet seems to be happening to Kurigan: Have a nice weekend! - - - orginal post - - - - - - orginal post - - -- - - orginal post - - -- - - orginal post - - -- - - orginal post - - -- - - orginal post - - -- - - orginal post - - -- - - orginal post - - - Ahoy, following my aim to keep the forum alive and active, here's another post which allows me to roughly keep up with my recent posting frequency of 1 MOC per week. Coming out of an experiment of how to create a decent beach design, the beach suddenly found itself crowded - somehow looking interesting. So, here it is, for all you other island builders: The "Saturday Afternoon Pirate Beach": It's not the best day for Emmet: .. but luckily it was just a joke: :pir-grin: Other beings enjoy the beach and the fruit it brings: ... but LOTR-guys definitely have a hard time on PIRATE BEACH: Enjoy, and have a nice weekend, and I would be happy to read your comments. AND KEEP POSTING PIRATE MOCS!!!
  3. Hi, having seen vitreoleums reference to Monkey Island, I would like to present a Monkey Statue myself: I hope you like this - C&C welcome!
  4. Take a flight to the most distant galaxy in the Banananaship! Escape human pursuers or take them on with state of the art lasers and technology! Nothing will stop any monkey once he gets his hand on the controls! Dual missiles and reinforced yellow plating insures maximum protection for our little friend! Features detachable front perfect for spying on any pesky animals or humans! Well, this took me longer than I wanted it too, but I'm pretty happy with the result, especially since it's only my second Sci-Fi build! Comments and criticisms are appreciated!
  5. [pid][/pid]238C Hi There, sometime back I had promise to come back with some more "monkey-driven designs". So (drum roll) here it is: The Temple of the Monkey God. How did we come up with this? It all started with a few monkey statues that my (older) son and I developed. Then it made sense to find a place for them. This is why you will find three different types of monkey statues. .. and there is a secret treasure hidden within the main statue: (what else could it be?) Actually, I could still combine it with some minifigs from the latest series. As usual, a MOC is never done. I hope you like this - we're working on more monkey stuff! Yours Captain Braunsfeld
