Elna and her son Bjar lead Eindrin, a Chobo rancher, to an abandoned nest. "What happened to the mother?" Eindrin asked. "No trace of her," Bjar said. "But mother has kept an eye on the nest in case she returned." "No chobo have come," Elna confirmed. "But I've kept away scavengers and predators until you could arrive." "I see," Eindrin said. "You were right to send for me." Elna and Bjar live a secluded but full life, hunting game and gathering what edible plant life grows wild in the deep forests of southern Mitgardia. They are happy to show Eindrin the eggs, knowing that he will see them to a safer place.

The Luftwolf resides in the Lone Mountain and can be seen gliding the skies around the Dune Sea. They feed on east, dying, or already dead animals and are very aggressive. Their ears are capable of hear noised from very far away to hone in on prospective meals. The people who reside near Lone Mountain who had previously tried to fend off the Luftwolf from their livestock stumbled upon a Luftwolf who had bloodshot eyes and seemed distant and subjective. It was later found going through it's massive droppings that it had digested one of the local's recreational plants. This Luftwolf named Redeye remained obedient and the residents of Lone Mountain were able to train Redeye and used him for travel across Historica. Instead of trying to fend off the Luftwolf, the residents set bait filled with the recreation substance, once a Luftwolf eats the drug, they are sent to a camp for training and for living. The trained Luftwolfs are fed livestock and are given lots of time for play. They are used travel most of the time or warfare if necessary, by attaching weapons to the saddle. Stats: 30 feet long/tall 36 foot wingspan 500 pounds eye turn a permanent red after digestion of a recreational substance Flight Equiptment: bit chains saddle chest backpack LDD file: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legoman19892/LDD/luftwolf.lxf

Note: I know this is a day past the deadline so if it's really too late to join I understand! The Darklands are known and feared for the foul abominations which roam these lands, both in the wild and in the captivity of Nocturnian warlords. Perhaps none however invoke more terror than the black wyverns of the Rakarth Mountains. Their numbers are not known but the black wyverns have long been the horror of the surrounding lowlands, where they go to feed on anything unlucky enough to be caught in the open. The black wyverns are twisted cousins of the noble beasts seen rarely in Avalonia. Because of their size and ferocity, black wyverns have often been the targets of enterprising warlords who wish to use the beasts in battle. This endeavor, of course, carries tremendous danger and has resulted in the deaths of many would-be captors. Black wyverns are not often seen in the front ranks, where they are still vulnerable to enemy arrows and ballista, but instead fly high above to provide commanders with an aerial view of the battlefield. Nocturnian warlords also find the black wyverns useful for interior policing and instilling fear in the border towns of rival commanders. Black wyverns are extremely powerful beasts and even a bite from their venomous maw can cause death to larger creatures. They are often fitted with simple plates of iron or steel armor to enhance their survivability. Main shot of Senurhem and his armored wyvern: A few other angles: About this MOC: I've been so busy last month I didn't have time to pick up a brick - that is, until yesterday when I remembered the Mount Up challenge deadline. So here I am, a day late hoping y'all will show me some mercy and still let me enter! I started and finished this yesterday but too late to get some pics so I had to wait til the morning. In any case this is based a lot on a fell beast built for a Lotr MOC. I built a couple years back. Hope you enjoy and of course any feedback is welcome!

Just in time for the deadline :D I know it will not be a winner. The complete mount is build with the Mouse & Kitty Creatorset (for a small challenge on Brickmania Limburg this weekend) The Struysbird by Maxim I, on Flickr Sir Arof Slanga is one of the few Alleenridders who doesn't love horses. So that's why he choosed a rare Struysbird. Struysbirds are real Kaliphlin desert birds. They may look very stupid or cute, but au contraire, they are very fast, strong and dangerous! Even they are family of the birds, they can't fly long distances. Anyway, I originally wanted to build a bat for the IAMS but as Stedor took too much time this month, I didn't have the time anymore. C&C ofcourse welcome! edit 1: another picture edit 2: I like to claim the UoP credit for brickbuild animal
