  1. Dear Lego friends, I really just want to share my interest about Lego world, and show You some my invention to this nice playground. But I really don't understand how to start, when normal posts with images are not permitted for me... Every new member have to post 10 posts for to get some more possibilities for show own projects. But what about can I write? So, therefore the forum have to be full of such plain posts? Isn't it so? OK, If I can't place any meaningful posts, what can I do? Just only write something like this?... Or, is the reason for Eurobricks portal to make it hard for every Lego funs? Isn't it some better way how to prove, that anyone is not a spam robot or what? Seems, everything what has "EURO" in the name looks a little frustrating... Isn't it so? :-) OK, just my opinion... :-) Still I need such 2 posts to write normal nice things about my creation... Again, thanks for patience...
  2. Hi my name in Andrew I'm from the uk. I'm 62 years old. I have been a fan of Lego for a long time I like the big build kits. I have just got mindstorm EV3 set. I've built all the robots and run the programs so next thing to do build some robots of my own design & see if I can do some of my own programs. I have downloaded LDD and using that to design my robots. And help would be great full. If anyone has got any LDD files or designs I can have a look at to inspire me on I would be great full. Thank You Andrew
  3. I'm a new member and my username is Pertyn Sawk. I don't really know why am I using it, my real name is Max, I just find it rather amusing. I've been absorbed in Lego about 15 years ago. I bought quite many sets from different themes. But for the past few years, my favourite themes are Star Wars, Adventurers and Power Miners. I first found this forum 5 years ago and I've read it a lot of topics in this time and I'm happy to add one myself. I decided to make an account, because I like the Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka very much and I would like to contribute in the future. My other hobbies are swimming, cycling and I read a book or two once in a while. I also have a rather special hobby, I collect beer corks and my favourite beers are Saison Dupont, Brewdog Punk IPA and Orval - if you know any of these. I think this is more than enough for now. I'd rather post a build or two, so see you around in the forum.
  4. Hello person's! I'm Axelthestormer (or just Axel) and yes, I did play Lego Universe and its Beta. I've seen this forum quite a few times over the last 5 or so years, so I decided to join. Me being the socially inept person I am I prefer to be inside on a computer to being outside with others. I'm quite nervous of joining as I think I might end up doing something weird or "taboo". I've used Lego for quite a few years, about the time of Alpha Team's mission Deep Freeze. I've tried moving into stop motion and Minifig customization, but all I've done so far is change the colour of a few hair pieces to red (from blonde) with sharpie (which rub off after a few days) and took a few pictures which, when put together, look like a video from a camera strapped to a drill exploding (I have looked up a few techniques for stop motion, I just don't have much money at the moment to buy any new equipment or other stuff's). I'll probably try and keep posting over time but I might end up leaving for a few months at random times. So that's my paragraph. Thanks for reading! (If you actually did) -Axelthestormer
  5. Hello! My name is Tracer, I am 14 years old, and live in California, USA. My username was inspired by my dog's name. Quite simple, but understandable. I am a computer lover,K1 Speed racer, Roller coaster enthusiast, lego enthusiast, K'nex Roller Coaster enthusiast, and Drum and Bugle Corps (Impulse)/ Marching band member. I love to see new lego Technic sets released, such as the 42039. I know it's a love and hate relationship with most, but I adore it. I march with a DCI (Drum Corps Int.) group, called "Impulse". DCI is like a marching band on steroids, touring the country, sleeping on a bus or a high school gymnasium floor, practicing for over 10 hours a day. Check it out! I usually take long breaks from forms when I loose interest in building, but eventually come back with inspiration. I love F1 cars and Indy Cars. I hope Lego makes a 2012/ 2013/ 2014 Indy Car, as it would be new like the Le Mans. I hope to get to know you all, too! Happy building!
  6. Hello, New member John here. I have been a Lego fan for more years than I care to remember and was always delighted to find new models to build with my children. Now, the years have passed and they have children of their own. I haven't built a Lego model since about 1990 (8862 Backhoe Grader, then pretty well the state of the art in Technic, with pneumatics!). That was until last autumn. I had been in hospital for a couple of months earlier in the year and, while convalescing, I came across MOC Lego models on YouTube. I couldn't resist the Volvo L350F Wheel Loader (42030) and found it great fun to build. Since then, I have bought the 42009 Mobile Crane as a Christmas present to me, and got into the minefield of searching on-line for the additional parts for Jurgens' Ultimate version. This was a terrific and quite challenging build - very much a case of "if all else fails, read the *** instructions". My latest venture is a fairly heavily modded version of the 8043 Excavator. The original was bought on-line, another new departure for me. The main mods were to the crawler mechanism (based on the design by Andrzej N) with two XL motors, one IR receiver and a battery box in the chassis; a boom and arm design, inspired by Jurgens' Zorex, with two M motors in the first section and short UJ drives to the second section and bucket; and a much simplified body with just two M motors, for slewing and for operating the main arm LAs. Result - no drives or wires through the turntable and tons of spare gears and axles. It all seems to work very well, I will post photos if anyone is interested and if I can work out how to do it. I have also started on a Skeleton Clock, an MOC by KEvronista - something completely different, without a motor in sight! My next project is to have a go at the 8275 Bulldozer which arrived a week ago. Best wishes, John
  7. Hello fellow LEGO Fans! My name is Jacob and I love building. I have been reading the forum for a few months now, and I thought that it would be a good idea to join the site. I have loved LEGO since I was a child, starting with Bob the Builder Duplo at 2. I have more recently bought the Exo-Suit. I am currently in to all things LEGO, such as trains, cars, buildings, mechs, ships, and my favorite, a swoosh-able spacecraft of some sort. I am currently 15, going on 16 next month. I guess I would be what you would consider a "TFOL". I am working on a LEGO City at the moment and hope to fill the table by the time I finish High School. I hope I enjoy my time on this forum and hope to become a contributing member to the site!
