  1. Hello Eurobricks Sci-Fi community, i want to share my latest space creation with you. This creation was something completely new for me as I have never built someting in Micro Scale before and for my first try I am quite pleased with the outcome of this creation. I hope you like it too. This MOC is inspired by the "Ice Planet 2002" and "Blacktron Future Generation" themes from the early 1990s. I first started with building the micro spaceships as an entry for my LUGs christmas raffle/advent calendar, I liked them so much that I decided to build a MOC for them. I also showed this MOC at a LEGO exhibition in Austria last weekend next to the very inspiring Ice Planet 2002 - Battle Tank from my fellow LUG member markus19840420. Blacktron Research Base on Krysto by Jonas Obermaier, auf Flickr More pictures on flickr and Imperium der Steine. I hope you like it! Jonas

  3. I would like to present you my last two spaceships that I've made in micro scale. I've made them about a year ago when there was a space pirate contest here on Eurobricks. Cargo ship was more or less side product when I was building another MOC. Alien ship was built for the contest but afterward I decided not to participate, don't know why. Anyway here're the photos. Enjoy :) Here they are in a more fantasy look ;) Regards
  4. V-Galactic Racing: Midnight Bolt X by rolli A couple of weeks ago I posted my Crimson Hornet 3000 and my Scarlet Hare 20x, part of my fictitious space racing game V-Galactic Racing: Now I 'unlocked' the third racer: Its delicate front wings make it easy to handle and the low shaping with its long tail provide perfect aerodynamics. The Midnight Bolt X is a great choice for the crater hopping tracks! This was my attempt at a Vic Viper, although I'm a bit late to the game. It wasn't easy sticking to all the VV regulations but I'm quite happy with the final result. Loooove the medium azure As I mentioned when posting the first racer: I will add more racers in the coming months, whenever I feel like I need to build one or need another break - after all I need to unlock them all This time I just felt like building something inorganic and angled. Looking forward to what you think - let me know! Best Markus
  5. Hello, everybody! Let me introduce my new MOC: The Big Spaceship. It is not inspired by movie or video game, so it has not got Prototype. Dimensions received approximately 80x60 cm (length x width). In my opinion, the form is quite original original, so I am satisfied with it) Top view: Bottom view: To turn it had to remove part of the lining and the central turbine, so the back stick beam to which it is attached;) The two sides have open trapdoors: One of them opened: The back side, you can see the turbine;) Вид спереди: Thats all, I hope you enjoed! Comments are welcome. My Flickr
  6. As usually I was given the hardest job. I was floating above Suprosa with a bomb in my hand. I had to put it on, go away and when it explodes enter the ship with others. But the explosion will probably bring consequenses ... It was meant as a 1st freebuild for this episode, but since this is the last day I'm posting it as a build and I'll post other stuff in next few weeks. Thanks for watching!
  7. Hello to everyone, today I post my Telecommunications Satellite and Radio Space Telescope. For the Telecommunications Satellite I used parts from 6458 set and Discovery sets line (the photovoltaic panels). Above view illustrated the main parabola antenna and jointed photovoltaic panels: The rear with other antennas: The bottom with the hydrazine thrusters: This is the Radio Space Telescope, with radio sensor, parabola antenna, jointed photovoltaic panels, and on the bottom hydrazine thrusters. I used parts from 6458 set and Discovery sets line.
  8. One of the many companies Aardman Animations (the studio behind Wallace & Gromit and Creature Comforts) have made adverts for is LEGO. What is uploaded on YouTube by the Hall of Advertising channel is one advert done for Train... And one very impressive advert done for Pirates... But also, my Creating 3-D Animation book mentions a spaceman advert Aardman made that was similar to the Pirates one. I looked it up and yes, I found a Space advert with the same construction characters (2:30): But I've also seen listed in an interview a mention of producing advertising for LEGO Star Wars. This interview came out before Chicken Run and LEGO Star Wars came out in 1999 so it must have been in the franchises early years. http://www.telepathy.co.uk/aardman/culture/faqs.html Does anyone know of some early LEGO Star Wars advert with stop-motion in it?
  9. Today I post my Space Probe "Explorer", the design is inspired by Space Probe "Voyager 2". I tried to recreat it with the best possible realism. A detail of the Space Probe: the planetary radio astronomy and plasma wave antenna and the RTG on the right. In the middle the "Platinum Record", a hydrazine thrusters and the bus housing electronics. On the left sensors antenna and the low-field magnetometer. At the top, the telocommunications parabola; at the bottom other hydrazine thrusters. Detail of the other side of the Space Probe: high-field magnetometer, a second hydrazine thrusters and the '90 Lego Space Program symbol in the middle. Seen from above
  10. Hello everyone! I've been wanting to do a few Neo-Classic Space, Neo-Blacktron and Neo-M-Tron MOCs for a while now, I've already done a small Neo-Classic space MOC, so I decided to do a Neo-Blacktron MOC, and more... sinister So, it's basically a one manned Blacktron small mech-walker with two walking legs, controls in the "cockpit" and laser guns. *NOTE* I don't know if you can truly call this a "mech", but it's sort of a Mech-Walker. Neo-Blacktron Mech by Brick Capone, on Flickr Frontal view. Neo-Blacktron Mech by Brick Capone, on Flickr And the back view! I'd love to hear comments, criticism and overall good feedback on how you like this!
  11. Hello! After a short absence, I return with a few space theme creations. The first I want to show is my Space Scooter. This creation is inspired by 2009 set 5969 "Squidman Escape" from the Space Police series. I made several changes, I added wings and changed colours scheme with pieces from Alpha Team set "Tundra Tracker".
  12. Yesterday I've build this smaal speeder. It's called the Explorer Speeder. It can be used to explore planets. It's just a quick builded MOC. I'm busy with some MOCs which are more complicated, so it's also fun to build some easier MOCs 01_Explorer_Speeder by LegoMathijs, on Flickr 02_Explorer_Speeder by LegoMathijs, on Flickr 03_Explorer_Speeder by LegoMathijs, on Flickr hope you like it :)
  13. Recently, NASA's Hubble Telescope set its gaze upon the planetary nebula PK 329-02.2, AKA Menzel 2. Here's the image Hubble sent back to Earth. Looks familiar, huh?
  14. The Decadence - Class IV Fleet Carrier by rolli The Decadence is a Class IV Fleet Carrier and the home to hundreds of small star fighters, ten MK6 troop carriers and one SX Destroyer. Its unique shape allows for a big turbine on the side that, together with the array of thrusters on the back, provide the propelling power that make The Decadence one of the fastest fleet carriers out there. ----- A ton of saxophones, dark blue and orange and small star fighters and bombers entertained me throughout the last weeks. And yes, this SHIP is "sideways" - I wanted to break with the usual conventions. I had a blast building this and showing it in Skaerbaek last weekend. Hope you like it, let me know what you think! Best Markus
  15. Finally finished! I also managed to do my first edit job with Photoshop (I previously only used Lightroom). Bio: Orion class deep space cruiser have been used for years as a reliable way to transfer goods, passenger and other cargo on long haul space flights. Most versions of the cruiser carry two small shuttles to be used as an escape route for the crew in emergencies and as a way to unload cargo Length: 110 studs Parts: 1000+ Time To Build: One Month (off and on) Built for SHIPtember 2015. 16. Hi, at the Mad History Contest on ImperiumDerSteine.de the entries had to represent a historical scene with some little changes. So here is my MOC for the first round - I hope you like it :) Best Vaionaut PS: Sadly the sticker for the US flag exists only for one side of the flag. PPS: Wasn't shure where to post this (historic or scifi), but in my opinion it fits better here...

The Council of Five has assigned Pangolinus as his trainer as Spacer Steve has little piloting experience. The exploration fleet consists of three ships. The Sal class science vessel, the M.C.F. Firefly, and the M.C.F. Scythe exploration vessel. Chogg chart a course to the Jake Atter asteroid mining station. We need to resupply the station with goods and provide protection. There have been several Dust Demon sightings. Captain, Chogg thinks that is illogical. Chogg, I’d appreciate it if you don’t say that ever again…. Deploy Stinger Squad. 18. My entry for Cracker Inc. telephone starfighter game, round 7. Have been in semi enforced dark age, so first time back here in a while! This is entirely swooshable and stickered to within a inch of its life. Background edit by me buddy Steebles. The Sentinel is an Orbital espionage platform. Intel gained from both the Russian and American space programs has been utilised to develop next generation surveillance technology.. Armed with twin cowl rail guns and equipped for extended duration missions, the Sentinel is the British Empires first line of defence against hostile enemy forces. Capable of homing in on precision objectives, the Sentinel can eliminate individual high value targets with ease. The Sentinel is piloted by Operative code name Night Owl. Night Owl is a genetically enhanced soldier capable of near hibernation like sleep. This enables him to maintain a state of constant readiness, only roused when the ships sensor array wakes him with new orders or a proximity alarm.
  19. Hello Eurobricks. It's been a long while since I actually used a forum board. I used to manage and moderate forums but ever since social media step in I essentially went into dark age of using forums as well. Anyway I am an AFOL. I'm Asian and moving around places due to the nature of my work that's why majority of my collection are minifigures. I started MOCing this year due to a local LUG Star Wars event. The first batch of LEGO sets in my childhood are mostly City, Castle and Space. I mostly like Space and I still have my original Ice Planet set, 6879 Blizzard Baron. :) Then I went to a very long dark age.... then when I resumed my LEGO collection I picked up Star Wars almost immediately and then Ninjago. It's a weird combination but I find myself stuck in both Space and Action category. I may go back to Castle if there is a proper historical theme later but for now I am preoccupied collecting CMF and those SW minifigures that I missed.

  21. V-Galactic Racing: Scarlet Hare 20X by rolli A couple of weeks ago I posted my Crimson Hornet 3000, part of the fictitious space racing game V-Galactic Racing: Now I 'unlocked' the second racer: Crazy angles and a ton of flaps make the Scarlet Hare 20X incredibly agile and a good choice for the difficult asteroid tracks! As I mentioned when posting the first racer: I will add more racers in the coming months, whenever I feel like I need to build one or need another break - after all I need to unlock them all This time I just felt like building something inorganic and angled. 22. A few weeks ago I've made this micro-scale GARC spacehip. I was very busy so I didn't have had time to make some pictures earlier. A micro-scale GARC named X-GARC-01. A FAST spaceship for GARC races. It has four lasers in X-Wing position. Pitures: 01_X-GARC-01 by Mathijs Bongers, on Flickr 02_X-GARC-01 by Mathijs Bongers, on Flickr Pictures can also be found at my Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mathijslegofan/albums/72157671295471461 I hope you like it
  23. In the year 2561, a gas giant exists known as R7-55, or Gelo. The planet is inhabited by a rag tag society of aliens from across the galaxy, living on towns built on small low-orbiting asteroids in the planets sea-like gases. However, only an approximate 700,000 people live on the planet, spread out among the surface, making economy difficult. So what most inhabitants do to make money, is build boat-like transporters designed to "float" across waves of gasses. These are used to transport goods between towns, and look like this: (sorry you can see my finger in this photo.) These "boats" bring and trade goods at trade stores. You can make a trade right through an open window, or you can also buy something inside the shop while your transporter is being loaded. Transporters are created by building a hull out of pretty much any material you can get your hands on, then adding a "mast",with some pieces of fabric to catch the wind. Engines usually consist of a few gas tanks connected to a compression chamber, to create a small (or large) flame to propel the transporter through the gasses. A rudder is always added for steering, and occasionally an extra fin or two for stability. While most transporters are relatively small, this is the largest transporter ever built, owned by Arnold Henderson and is wife. In this picture, it's docking with Dragon Traders, the planets most successful trade shop. The trade shop is so successful, it had a crane built in 2558 so it could load larger amounts of goods in faster time. The transporter has been designed to go longer distances and hold more cargo, the engine is significantly larger, and also carries a water tank and a generator for the on board cabin. Even though the engine is much larger, you can still see the similarities it has with the other much smaller transporter. here you can see the ships cabin, and its detailed interior. I had some trouble getting a good roof with my peices, so it's a little flimsy. You can see my design though. Sometimes pickup trucks ship out goods to other planets. This is an old one way back from 2234! And here are some shots from inside Dragon Traders. Here you can see the shop level of the trade store. Funny, I thought they stopped selling alien weapons. And for fun here are some goods that are often shipped between towns. Gold, warp crystals, and carbon rods. And always, a transporter operator should be aware of the unpredictable lighting storms that happen in the planets gassy layers, as they can easily knock a transporter off course. hope you enjoyed the post, Th3_Br1ck_Kid
