Lego AMX 13 75 (RC) by Tommy Styrvoky, on Flickr I present my latest model, the French AMX 13 75. This is a rather unusual tank because of the turret design. The turret is called a oscillating turret, as the entire gun/turret elevates as a whole. This allows for mounting of a larger caliber gun in a smaller turret. The AMX 13 also features a autoloader system that loads a round from a revolving magazine. I had attempted to replicate the autoloader in the vehicle, but there wasn't enough space to mount in the turret. The entire model's hull is filled with power functions elements, and suspension components I had several cases where the wires were packed in next to gears.... that ended somewhat badly. A few minor scuffs and one case of a wire being exposed, but they still work fine. The suspension is similar to my GW tiger's, as it uses Lego springs instead of torsion bars, the width of the inner hull is mostly 10 studs, and 8 studs wide by the suspension though most of the model is 10 studs wide. This created challenges for mounting components, I had to mount the drive motors at a angle, and the mechanisms for the turret had to be very compact. The gun elevation is controlled by a small linear actuator at the turntable, and the entire turret is a mess of different technic connections to allow for SNOT work on the outside. I am pleased with how well this model turned out for being built in under 3 days during a small break from college. One thing I wish I could have changed would be if there was a slightly larger road wheels (around 4.5 studs in diameter). Hey guys, this is my latest MOC. Been working on this MOC for a long time. Apart from it's appearance the biggest difference with its predecessor is the integration of an EV3 in the turret. That took quite a bit of work because the EV3 unit and the Mindstorms motors are so much bigger than the PF ones. Had a hard time building a turret that was roughly the same size as the previous one. The main reason for wanting to include the EV3 was because I wanted the gun barrel to be self-stabilizing, that is keeping its elevation regardless of the elevation of the hull. Its implementation can be improved upon. While it does its job adequately, the mechanism should operate faster. At the moment it works like this: take measurement → compare measurement with previous measurement → adjust the barrel accordingly → take new measurement, etc. This cycle can take upto 10 seconds to complete, depending on the difference in elevation, which is too long really. But this time around the main objective was to get it working in the first place. It was my first attempt at making a program for the EV3, which was more difficult than I had expected. I have some ideas on how to improve it, but that will have to wait for a bit. Now I've made videos about LEGO tanks before. However this one is a little different because I also set out to include something of a story in this video. It's also my first video where I had multiple people collaborating with me on different parts. That is besides my best friend, Depipro, who has helped me before. Hope you will like it.

A couple years ago I built a Renault FT-17 for the Model Team contest. During the contest I created my first Ldraw model, this model was rather flawed, as lots of parts were misaligned, and lots of duplicate parts were present. I had received lots of feedback from people asking if a LDD or PDF format instructions were available, as it is becoming one of my most popular videos. At the time I had little experience with Lpub, so I didn't know where to begin with the PDF instructions. Earlier this month I received others having more interest in obtaining PDF instructions. So I began the process of fixing the model, there were lots of flaws with misalignments, duplicate parts, and even areas that hadn't been updated to represent the final version of the model. Since I am at college I began to work on the model, and convert it into further logical steps to rebuild the model. This process involved disassembling the model and ordering the steps backwards. I then decided to import the model into Blender and create a short animation to showcase all of the functions. This animation allows me to show all of the detailed internals with better lighting than I could in real life, though to render this 39 second animation it took around 60 hours. If only OpenCL rendering worked on my Mac... I also decided to make a proper trench for the Renault... in 4K, another 2 hour rendering process. I thoroughly enjoyed building this model in real life, now everyone as the instructions to have one for themselves. Location: C04, Aeristus Tags: Vehicle, Piracy, Land Vehicle, Military, Spying Job: Driver Start Log: Back to work again, this time as part of time on Aeristus, sent to weaken Octan operations there. Naturally this was a stealth mission, so our vehicles were equipped with a darker colorscheme than usual, allowing us to blend into the night. Most recently we came across an Octan robot, it fled, but stood no chance against the cannons on my tank. Good to build for MANTIS again! The printed brick was a gift from Lady K at BFVA

This is the sixth LEGO tank i've build. Technically it's very similar to my Mark 5-2 except that i included a turret-ring this time. I did that to give extra stability to the turret: in the previous build the turret was a little too unstable. I also tried to make the turret even smaller. I think this turret is about 30% smaller that the previous one. The hull is also quite a bit smaller. I believe this is about as small as it can be unless i manage to make the firing mechanism even more compact, which I seriously doubt. Finally, I tried to detail the model a little, and made it a little less blocky, although I still have to learn a lot about that.

Now a Lego Ideas Project! Please Support by voting at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/65675 "Your precious armory, gratefully accepted! We will need it." - Bane The Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan gave us a fresh and realistic reboot of the Caped Crusader, and with it many of Batman's iconic vehicles. These are my renditions of the Tumblers in camouflage versions, reproduce with lego bricks in 2 seaters minifig scale and staying as close to the original movie design as best I can. The base design of these of course are similar to my Tumbler and Bat Pod project. Each Tumbler measures about 19cm(L) x 12cm(W) All three versions have been faithfully recreated: The original Camo Tumbler, the Tumbler with a Turret/Cannon and the Tumbler with a Missile Launcher. In this case, only the original Camo Tumbler can be a 2 seater as the other 2 versions both have a weapon occupying the space where the passenger seat will be. Both the Turret and the Missile Launcher can be retracted to an inactive position. The set can be launched as a single camouflage tumbler with additional parts for the other 2 alternate builds. The set can also include different variations of Bane's outfits as seen in the movie. Now a Lego Ideas Project! Please Support by voting at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/65675

ADU version of German wwII tank sd.kfz.234 Pucelabricks Heavy Industries is pleased to introduce the new PB-43 light tank Puma. It is a lightweight vehicle designed to move quickly form both front and reverse and support infantry fighting no heavy tanks on the enemy side. It has a crew of 4 and its main armament 75 mm cannon. The high mobility provided by its 8-wheel drive also makes it very convenient to get around on the ruins of an urban combat there to support where needed There are some pictures of the day of the official presentation of the first units to the Governor Eslava, Commissioner and Captain Lothbrock Freyja: A typical training squadron assigned to each vehicle for urban patrols All vehicles and historys of Lothbrock commisar in:

Lego Jagdpanzer 38(T) Hetzer (RC) by Tommy Styrvoky, on Flickr I present my latest armored vehicle, a German built tank destroyer on a Czechoslovakian panzer 38(T) chassis. The model that I have built has 2 L motors with a 1:2 reduction that propels the model. It has fully suspended road wheels that use torsion bars (even though the real vehicle uses leaf springs ) to suspend the rugged chassis. It has a dual axis trunnion that controls the gun's elevation/depression. The trunnion has a mini LA that powers the left/right traverse, and a 1:64 reduction that elevates/depresses the 75mm cannon. Rebrickable LDD/Ldraw instructions soon to come... I have been working on these constantly, so far the model is atleast 1000 parts, and that's with only half of the casemate built. MOC Bat-All Terrain Vehicle This is my latest MOC, a cross between a 66' Batmobile and a Tank. I was trying to think of a way to incorporate tracks with suspension that I had designed. I looked at the 66' Batmobile I had built and thought that would be an interesting project. The tracked suspension is full independent on both sides and works great. I've added all sorts of launchers and equipment, so now the villains of Gotham City have no where to hide. The storyline for the existence of the vehicle goes thus: “It’s 1968 and Bruce Wayne decides that he needs an extra vehicle to help control the villains of Gotham City. He contacts his friends at Gotham City Engineering and asks them to build him a new vehicle loosely based on the 1966 Batmobile but a major feature has to be its all-terrain capabilities.” Let me know what you think. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87749

Hi, Today I'd like to present to you my latest model. M24 Chaffee - american light tank developed in the later part of WWII. Served also during several pastwar conflicts like Korean War, in Alegeria and finally in first nad second Indiochina wars. As usually my model is made in 1:40 scale. It's very simple build' done only during two evenings, no special fatures except rotating turret. Some thumbnails - click for larger images. I hope you like it. C&C are kindly apreciated. Cheers, GabryS See also others of my MOCs on my flickr photostream.

Hello, here is my first MOC, a tank! I've always wanted to make a tank, I finally got the parts from Bricklink and built this! It includes a machine gun with flashing lights, suspension and a working gun. I didn't have enough remotes and motors, so I just used a hand crank for the machine gun and a switch to the main gun. I used the help of gear ratio a lot here! Special thanks to Steve Nesta and Pawel "Sariel" Kmiec. Here is the video-

'Steelbug' MMT by skapunkplaything, on Flickr 'Steelbug' MMT by skapunkplaything, on Flickr 'Steelbug' MMT by skapunkplaything, on Flickr In an advanced age of powered battlesuits and radar-invisible gunships, many strategists posited the end of the tank completely. However, the relatively low cost and simplicity of the internal mechanisms of a tank - compared to, say, a walking exo-suit of death - means they have some use, especially with the less affluent paramilitaries, militias and mercenary forces throughout the galaxy. The 'Steelbug' is very small, with a crew of one. Most of it's surprisingly effective armour is situated around the sides and top, with it's treads vulnerable to all sorts of attack (some things never change). Even so, it's size is one of it's main assets. Any skilled mechanic can mag-lock the tank to a ship and drop it into enemy territory accurately from a great height. In this sense, it is favoured by paratroopers, marines and other intrusion forces who have to travel light.

For my next build I am planning to make a high-speed RC offroad tank with 4 buggy motors, similar in design to a Ripsaw. This will be my topic for any questions/discussion that may come up during the build. My recent BL orders have yet to come, so for now I only have one question. Are drive motors located at only one end of the vehicle? Or can they be placed at both 'axles'? It would seem simpler to have only the rear end driven, or would it be better to evenly distribute torque and avoid stress at one end?

Sorry for my english Twenty-ninth year of the war of Ragnarök , after the victory in the Battle of Sirius B6 and death of the caudillo Gorfan Roftgut at the hands of the commissioner Lothbrok and 8th Mechanized Infantry Regiment of La Vera , when she finally believed that the war had completed, the master assassins of Gorfan Roftgut , nicknamed " the rat " , took refuge in the deep galleries of numerous karst formations on the planet offered . To get out the rats from their nests It was necessary heavy drilling machinery and the nearest was in a distant system. Meanwhile in Chima system where animals evolved to intelligent forms coexisted with humans in peace in a difficult balance after a war of liberation against their former oppressors and tyrannical rulers. The arrival of a self-proclaimed messiah prodded all the tribes of animals against humans, and a fierce persecution against them was initiated . The human empire decided to lift several armies to begin the reconquest of the system, and falls within the 2nd Army Chima was newly promoted to Division level , the, 8th Mechanized Infantry Division Commissioner Lothbrok , in which numerous regiments from La Vera system were included. Can Any one help me mod my 8098 Clone Turbo Tank (Clone Wars)
shrak posted a topic in LEGO Star Wars
So can any one give me some ideas of what I should do to modify my set. I would like to keep some what the way it is as it is modeled after the version seen in season 2 of star Wars the Clone Wars Holocron Heist. It would also be nice if they could be done medium to minimal requirement of pieces as I would be using the spare pieces I have already not going to go and buy new pieces just to mod it. Thanks to all who can help me! -
Here is a small MOC tank I've recently created. Small enough as it is intended to 'fit in' with my 1980s style 4-wide civilian vehicles. Currently in the process of tweaking and rolling a few off the production line. Hope you like it.

Sector: A04 Tags: Military, Vehicle, Spaceship, Land Vehicle Begin Log: I travel over the surface of Mynderis in the new M.A.N.T.I.S. Fly Class Flyer, searching for the "special package" I'm supposed to pick up. I've found it! Switching from Fly mode to Raven mode for landing. Secured the M.A.N.T.I.S. Tank. I'll drill around the perimeter until a driver reports in. Some back and front detailing. I've found a quiet lava spring to drill into. Group shot: End Log This was my first attempt at more detailed vehicles and landscapes. I'm very happy with how the tank's cockpit function turned out, how much detail I packed in, and how complicated a build it was. It's hard to see them, but I've even added a few car fenders/bumpers to the tank. Comments welcome!

I prepared this model for Brickworld Chicago couple weeks ago. It is quite playable on a table, and was a great show material. I build a slope with books and make it go up and down. The winter livery was due to limitation of available Lego pieces. However few stickers I made are based on my memories of a monument I saw in Russia, rather than pictures online. The model has 4 motors and Sbrick for smartphone control. RC functions: drive left and right track, turret rotation and gun elevation. Also the model features authentic Christie suspension.
