This was developed from my A-7 Corsair II MOC, but with a redesigned and lengthened forward fuselage, new vertical stabilizer, longer tailpipe, and new cockpit canopy and control panel. I have created two variants thus far, the upgraded F-8E fleet air superiority fighter and the upgraded RF-8G photo reconnaissance aircraft. Features include a detailed cockpit with room for one minifigure and an opening canopy, opeing radome with radar antenna, fully functional landing gear, opening and positionable inflight refueling probe, positionable variable incidence wing, positionable airbrakes, positionable tail hook, folding wings, and fully poseable flight control surfaces including flaps, ailerons, spoilers, and all moving horizontal stabilators. These are some of my newer MOCs, starting with the A-7A Corsair II. I've created both the single and dual seat versions, and both the US Navy and US Air Force/Air National Guard variants. This also was the basis for my F-8 Crusader MOC, ironic as the A-7 attack aircraft was derived from the F-8 fleet air superiority fighter in development reality.
