  1. I finally completed this Figure of Goblin Slayer & Priestess form the Goblin Slayer Manga/Anime Series. Obviously I used some alternative bricks that are not offered by LEGO, but there is no way I am building armor in anything but flat silver. The figure itself has been completed for a few months now, but I couldn't find anyone who would print on a 10x10 dish for the shield, so in the end I had to do it myself with spraypaint. This caused me problems since I had never spraypainted anything in more than a single color, but after a few tries and a few ruined pieces I got a decent result. The original idea was to make a half-circle base and place the two figures side by side. But as it turned out Goblin Slayer was way too heavy, and a support was needed to keep the figure from tipping over. In the end I placed the 2 figures back and connected them at the back to back so they can support each other. as you can see there is a support running from the Priestess back to her hair, and the Hair is connected to Goblin Slayers belt. To make both characters visible I placed the whole Base on a turntable so it can be freely rotated. it has little rubber track inserts at the bottom to stand secure. I originally wanted to place a motor inside (not from LEGO, too loud and power hungry) to slowly spin the MOC, but I haven't figured this out as I have no experience the electronics. Here are two more pictures of the base details: Overall I am quite happy with how this Project turned out, even if there were some unusually big annoyances along the way. I hope you like my MOC :) Greetings Gray Gear

Close Up of the first Adventurer to find the Treasure by mjfirefly, on Flickr Our intrepid explorer will certainly succeed and lay his hands upon the shield as it teeters on the edge of the ruins - and then, of course, it belongs in a museum.
