Ready to supply any budding adventurer! This thread is for sharing about parts, prints and sets that are currently available from 2021 onwards. (Of course if the thread lasts a long time, some sets and parts/prints might be retired in future). Johnny Thunder and his friends better watch the skies - Lord Sam Sinister has a deadly new biplane! This former racing plane is armed to the teeth with two machine guns ready and waiting to shoot down the Island Hopper seaplane or strafe the Adventurers' tramp steamer. I really hope that Thunder has good insurance on all their stuff! In reality, this model is based on 2020 Hidden Side set 70429 - El Fuego's Stunt Plane. I recolored the model from dark blue / bright light orange to black / yellow, removed the AR play features, and added two guns by the cockpit, WWI style. I also have Lord Sam Sinister in his pilot garb standing by, waiting to fire up his plane to go after some hidden treasures! The plane seats one figure and has a control yoke in it's proper place. As previously stated, the plane is armed with two machine guns. The model will be built in real bricks soon. Thoughts? -
This building is my Adventurers' headquarters building, and is used by Johnny Thunder and his friends to store and research recovered artifacts from all over the globe. (and beyond!) The model's framework / basis is half of set 76108 - Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown from 2018, and much like that fictional building, is filled with secrets and dangerous artifacts. The building is built to modular standard on a 16x32 baseplate, and is also infinitely stackable - the two middle floors can be repeated to be as tall as you want without changing anything, just like Cafe Corner from 2007 was able to. Sadly, the lamppost is not placeable in the proper place because of practically no clutch on the baseplate in the correct spot. (the baseplate is pretty old and worn) The rear of the building isn't very pretty. It has a basement entrance (purely for looks - it goes no where) and a back door to the first floor. This floor is the lobby / reception - it's where Johnny and co. get info on lost treasures and also the whereabouts of Lord Sinister and his cronies. This floor features a large cabinet, radio, desk, telephone, bankers lamp, and two chairs. A clock hangs on the wall by the door near a hat stand. This level is the break room / reading room for the upstairs library. We have a couch, standing lamp and table on this floor. Trophies, treasures, and weapons adorn this level. These include: the Storm Amulet from Ninjago, the Golden Shield from Orient Expedition, a Trident from the lost city of Atlantis, Thor's hammer (Dr. Kilroy is worthy), the fabled Re-Gou ruby, a T-Rex tooth found on Dino Island, among a few other, more puzzling items. This floor features items that can alter your mind and corrupt your soul, such as The Ice King's Crown, the One Ring, and a strange crystal skull. (Do NOT look it in the eyes!) Also on this floor is the library on everything archeology, the occult, myths / legends and somethings better left unsaid. This car is named the Scorpion Tracker, named after set 5918 - Scorpion Tracker - but styled after set 2995 - Adventurers car and skeleton. It was also heavily modified from a model by BricksAA and these free MOC instructions over on Rebrickable. The model features a spare tire hanging at the back of the vehicle and seats three figs - one in the back row and two up front, as shown. I'll leave you with this parting shot of Johnny Thunder, Dr. Kilroy, and Pippin Reed off on another expedition into the unknown... where are they going now - who knows? But wherever they will go, ADVENTURE awaits! Thoughts?

I originally built this 103-stud long 1920's Adventurers tramp steam ship from two Adventurers sets: I enlarged the ship from set 5975 - T-Rex Transport and modified it to resemble the vessel from set 5976 - River Expedition. The resulting ship (which is named the Eastern Star) features a lifeboat, steering wheel, and a smokestack plus I have the bridge with removable roof for the top deck of the ship, and captain's quarters for the lower floor. Currently, an ornithopter (inspired by set 70913 - Scarecrow Fearful Face-off) is being transported, as well as a live T-Rex in a cage. The ladders hanging on the side of the lower deck lead the way to the ship's bridge on the upper level. The life boat is also located back here. This T-Rex (from set 6720 - Tyrannosaurus Rex) looks none to happy about being caged! The bridge features a nautical telegraph / engine controls and the wheel. The lower level features the captain's quarters, with a table full of priceless relics and ancient maps... plus a dynamite plunger. NOTES: I built this ship in 2018, added the dinosaur and cage in 2022, and finally got around to taking photos in 2024... sorry for the 6-year long wait! Thoughts?

Are you confused by who is who in LEGO Adventurers? Why were the heroes' names changed between 1998 and 2003? And is the bad guy Baron von Barron, or Slyboots, or Lord Sam Sinister? Then this is the video for you! Join the LEGO Detective as we solve the infamous Sam Sinister Switcheroo! Adventurers has been my personal favorite LEGO theme ever since I started collecting the Dino Island sets back in 2000 and got infected with incurable LEGO mania. But it wasn't until I played LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge in 2004 and wondered "Hey, why is Sam Sinister called 'Mr. Hates' here?" that I first experienced the series's long and confusing history of naming characters differently in various markets and publications. Originally inspired by the popular Adventurers fan site on Geocities from 1999-2008 and kickstarted by the release of 10273 Haunted House in 2020, I began researching and compiling every alternate name and source I could find so I could one day present it all in an easily-accessible guide for fellow LEGO fans. This video is the finished culmination of the past four years of research. In this video, I make sure to cite and show every source I could find, but there are a few missing sources that remain unidentified. Note that one uncited name, Ulrich Unhold, has already been very quickly identified by viewers within a day of the video's release: it's in the German instructions for the Orient Expedition board game, which is the only language that changes Lord Sam Sinister's name (honestly, I'm not sure how I missed that!). So I'm hoping that someone here on Eurobricks may be able to help me track down the remaining names. The first is what I believe to be a Swedish print ad from 1998, which I saw once on Brickshelf but I can't find it again. This would name the characters Hjälten, Rita Reporter, Professor Påläst, Lars Looping, General Galning, Knock-out Berra, and Faraoh Hotep. As shown in the video, here is a rough mockup of what I remember it looking like: The second is a publication (presumably a catalog, but could have been a magazine or a print ad) from the Netherlands in 2000, described by LFB.nl on Lugnet. This refers to the villains as Alex Gluipstra and Alexis Gluipstra. I believe that this may also be the same as the third missing source, described on the aforementioned Geocities page, which refers to Mr. Cunningham as Sluwe Jacques. EDIT: The primary source has been verified! See my post below. If you're able to identify (and better yet, provide scans of) these unknown sources, or if you know of any other alternative names that I missed in this video, please let me know! -
My very first Lego set was the Scorpion Tracker set with Johnny Thunder. Without it I might have not become a Lego fan. So after tinkering around in LDD. I've come up with an reimagining of said vehicle. I built this 103-stud long 1920's Adventurers tramp steam ship from two Adventurers sets: I used the boat from set 5975 (T-Rex Transport) and modified slightly to resemble set 5976 (River Expedition). The ship features a lifeboat, steering wheel, and a smoke-stack plus I have the bridge with removable roof for the top deck of the ship, and captain's quarters for the lower floor. I also have signs on the front of the ship spelling out the name of the vessel: the Eastern Star. Built in 1915 for the Octan Petroleum Corporation as an ocean going tramp steam ship (made for hauling huge pumping gear out to remote oil fields in the Middle-East), the Eastern Star ran aground off the coast of southern Italy in mid-1916 while heading to England. Captain Karloff (who now owns the ship after buying the wrecked hulk), with help from mechanical genius Mac McCloud, rebuilt the vessel to be sea worthy once more. This ship has been an great help in getting huge treasures, such as the lost golden dragon of Marco Polo, back to western civilization and into museums where they belong. The ladders hanging on the side of the lower deck lead the way to the ship's bridge on the upper level. The life boat is also back here, just in case of emergencies! Here you can see inside the ship's bridge (upper deck) and captain's quarters. (lower level) Some of the recent cargo of the Eastern Star includes: - a gyro-copter (set 70913 MOD) - silver ingots and coins - silver and gold nuggets - Dynamite (the accompanying plunger is in the Captain's Quarters / map room) - Ancient spears - the Maltese Falcon - the Burma Chicken (long-lost cousin to the Falcon) - two halves of a long-lost pirate's treasure map - Money - large rough-cut ruby - poison bottles - antidote bottles Here is a closer look at the gyro-copter model which was heavily modified from set 70913 (Scarecrow Fearful Face-off) from the LEGO Batman Movie line. I added the classic two seat Adventurers cockpit piece which is usually used on land vehicles, plus a new set of vintage 2003 landing skids. This model also comes with red and green navigation lights and two independent propeller blades. The gyro-copter is usually used in tandem with the Eastern Star steamship, scouting ahead for signs of villainy and danger and reporting back to the Eastern Star and / or home base at the supply depot. The copter is nicknamed the Lightning Rod, for it was Charles "Lightning" Kilroy who designed it. When not in use, the copter is stored on the cargo deck of the tramp steamer. Greetings, adventurers! This is my entry for the 60th Anniversary of the Brick contest on Brickset, a microscale version of the classic Adventurers set 5988 The Temple of Anubis. Here is a picture of the original set for comparison: Here is a closer look at some of the more detailed parts of the set such as one of the Anubis statues, the truck, and the hot air balloon. Fly farther and higher than ever before with the Adventurers and their Pontoon bi-plane! This vintage style airplane features two re-purposed kayaks for floats, and dual shotguns for forward-facing protection from the forces of Lord Sam Sinister, while the rear of the vehicle has a gunner's seat with rotating machine-gun turret. (Just be sure to not shoot off the tail of the plane while flying!) In reality, this model was heavily inspired by 2018 set 31076 (Daredevil Stunt Plane) with a gunner seat from set 7186 (Fighter Plane Attack) from 2009. The pontoon floats from kayaks were my own idea, and I think are used in a new and unique way. This model comes with rotating prop, seats for the pilot and gunner and swiveling machine gun turret. Hi everyone, We (me and my brother) have created a landscape based on the Adventures theme from 1998 and 1999. The landscape was shown at Lego World the Netherlands 2017. The landscape contains a piramide, a temple, a lake town, a village and many vehicles. You have already seen the development of the vehicles and landscape in Various Adventurers Creations The piramide was build by my brother and it contains many rooms with traps, treasures, mummies and action. The Jungle was created by me and for the first time we added trees and more plants to make it look like a real jungle. I am glad that the water worked out fine. Someone told me that the river should be bigger compared to the ship the river is small. He had a point, but it was already expensive to purchase all the transparent pieces. To create this steampunk-like Adventurers vessel, I added six studs of length to the Destiny's Bounty (set 70618), removed the sails, lanterns, flags, plants and assorted details. I then put twin smokestacks on the deck, and dual paddle wheels amidships. I was inspired to do all this by this picture of a prototype of the Destiny's Bounty from the "Making of the Ninjago movie" book. (Pic courtesy of legozeba's Flickr page) The rear of the ship is supposed to feature "Deja Vu 2" in printed 1 x 1 tiles next to the telescope on the balcony. I'm still working on the inside details, which should hopefully have an engine room with boilers to power the paddles. I haven't thought up a backstory for this ship.... yet. (I'm still working on incorporating it into my Adventurers / Monster Fighters / Pharaoh's Quest / Alpha Team shared universe story-wise.) Any thoughts, ideas, criticism, or complaints are welcome, and are helpful in making the ship better, so please, post away!! EDIT 101/10/17: I just added restyled and enclosed ship's bridge with actual windows, plus a new name: Deja Vu 2. I bet you heard it somewhere before...

(NOTE to the mods: This model could go in the adventure forum, but since it's origin is a CITY-like set, I placed it here in the town forum. I hope that's okay!) Heading out for parts unknown, searching for lost treasure, discovering ancient civilizations, fighting the mysterious forces of evil and finding helpful allies, all in far-way lands not on any map! Check your compass, secure your gear and plot your course: It's all in a days work for the ADVENTURERS! (and yes, that was supposed to sound like a early TV / radio drama intro. ) I took the "Old Fishing Store" Ideas set number 21310 and turned back the clock on it from a rundown fishing shop in the modern era to a modular 1920's supply depot for Johnny Thunder and his friends, also known as the Adventurers. I added a set 7596-style freight Crane that's a part of "Trash Compacter Escape" (a Toy Story 3 set from 2010). I revised the color scheme of the mainly yellow building instead of the original sand green, and removed a ton of the mixed bunch of colors that were used a "patch jobs" on the dock and building proper. I removed the roof and redid it completely to be brick-built with slopes instead of plates and tiles at an certain angle. I also stripped the many windows styles off and replaced them with a single type. I added a warehouse section to the lower floor by sending one of the walls about 16 studs back, allowing for storage space for various equipment not yet designed. The back wall of the building shows off the new wall art placed on the roof section of the building: a giant propeller from a ship of some kind. I also am going to use the "Great" and "West" printed parts for the sign out on the front of the building where the "Anton's bait shop" 4 x 2 tile originally was. The back wall still opens in two sections, but the inside is a rough estimate. Some parts I already have from my previous depot model from almost 1 1/2 years ago, such as the safe, radio and various maps. Also, the two freight loading doors actually open and shut quite nicely. The model comes apart into four sections, with the main roof, tower, tower roof, and main building + dock all separating from each other. The crane was totally copied from my previous depot model, which itself was duplicated and color-changed from the dark green / white one in the Toys Story 3 set I mentioned earlier. That's all I've got so far with the building (which is coming soon in real bricks)... any thoughts or ideas for this model? As usual, Comments, Questions, & Complaints are always welcome. NOTE to the MOD: First off, I am sorry if this is in the wrong place. I wasn't sure where to place it, as it is a model using both System and Technic parts / techniques. Please move this as you see fit, if you need to move it at all. I just finished turning an elongated and enlarged version of set 42064 (Ocean Explorer) into a Adventurers style tramp steamship I call the Great West. The lift-away roof and bridge sections come off easily for access to the inside, and all the cargo is removable / interchangeable. Here is the original model, set number 42064, Ocean Explorer. I stripped the deck clean of all play features and attached models to give me a good foundation for my modifications. I also got rid of the helicopter and submarine. This ship is missing a few parts such as one of this for the bow in red, and two of each of these parts for the ships name, the Great West. The ship's name plates are located on the front of the bridge and the rear of the ship. I made the ship a whole section taller and longer to make it more proportional at mini-figure scale. The ship also feature wheels on the bottom for rolling along the floor / table / whatever. The two inside sections are mostly empty, but the captain's quarters goes on the lower deck, and the command bridge on the higher level. I'm not sure what to put in the lower section, but the upper section is mostly done except for the missing chart table. Any thoughts? Technic-heads, Ship-builders and Adventuresome fellows please chime in, as I am seeking feedback on this model. The LDD file is available here. Comments, Questions & Complaints are always welcome!

Adventurers Resupply Depot This building was mostly built from my own imagination and a slight inspiration from Toy story 3 set number 7596. (Trash Compactor Escape) I also used a old 3D base-plate that my brother gave me to give the building a bit of height. The dock is just a little taller than my tramp steamer, but it works great with the rotating crane to load / unload the ship. Also, the second floor and roof top (with the dual skylights) come off for access to the inside details. There is a sliding freight door to get cargo in from outside, and I'm contemplating putting a ramp pieces outside where the large rock piece is to get things down to ground level. Downstairs is the cargo drop-off area. Thing are strewn about the place, with barrels, buckets, chests, and an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus just laying about. (Don't worry, it's empty!) Also on this floor is the armory, with weapons and gadgets of all kinds safely stored on the walls, with the accompanying ammunition in a securely locked safe located upstairs. Upstairs is the nerve center of the Adventurer's exploits around the globe. money for buying supplies is stacked near the radio, while the ammunition safe sits nearest the camera. Opposite from the stairs is the research desk and lounge area. (even globe-trotting explorers need some downtime!) Seaplane ISLAND HOPPER What do you get when you combine an Adventurers seaplane, a Indiana Jones DC-3, and a Creator rip-off of the Seaduck from the TV show Tailspin? This model of course! The seaplane seen here is based off the 2008 Indiana Jones set 7628 (Peril In Peru), the 2017 Creator set 31064 (Island Adventures), along with inspiration from 2000 Adventurers set 5935 (Island Hopper) thrown in for good measure. The idea behind this model is to depict a updated version of one of my favorite classic LEGO themes: "Adventurers", but with modern techniques and parts using two of my favorites plane designs smashed together. The rear of the plane makes use of a Toy Story 3 printed 2 x 4 tile for a registration number. The plane has a interior that seats six people: 1 pilot and five passengers. The seats are accessible thought the removable roof / wings. Auto-Gyro LIGHTNING ROD In reality, this model was modified from set 70913 (Scarecrow Fearful Face-off) from the LEGO Batman Movie line. The good guys: Adventurers (good guys) figures from left to right: -Madame Blue This Alaskan husky is the unofficial mascot for the Adventurers team. -Captain Karloff Owner and operator of the "Eastern Star" tramp steam ship, this captain has an eye for spotting the historical value in something that looks worthless. He always has a bag of cool items he's collected on beaches, sea-side markets, and ports around the globe on his person or nearby on his ship. -Jake Raines This young lad is a American student of Dr. Charles Kilroy's and expert at 5 spoken languages and 3 more written. Also has a knack for defeating ancient booby traps and disarming modern explosives. -Johnny Thunder Australian adventurer extraordinaire and friend to all those in need. Thunder first met Sam Sinister in 1917 when Sinister was in a field hospital for his hand amputation and Johnny was recovering from slight case of shell shock. They have been against each other ever since then. -Dr. Charles Kilroy Eccentric and slightly absent-minded English professor of history, archaeology, ancient languages, and about five other things including medicine. Kilroy is known as "Lightning" to his friends, as he enlightens the team in his own way and serves as a friend indeed. -Miss Pippin Reed This former lead reporter for Adventurer Times was reporting on a Dr. Kilroy's 1920 discovery of a copy of the Book of the Dead when she met Johnny Thunder at a dig site near Cairo, Egypt. They have all been good friends ever since. Also, Ms. Reed happens to be an better aviator than Johnny, a fact which she takes great pride in. She also operates the Island Hopper seaplane on most expeditions. -Mac McCloud Mac may be slightly clumsy, but is a genius when it comes to things of a mechanical nature. He keeps things working for the Adventurers team, such as lowering the steam pressure in the old and worn boilers on the tramp steamer "Eastern Star" and knocking loose engine parts back into place on the sea plane "Island Hopper". -Major Quentin Steele Former British Army officer (and Sinister's former commander, whom Sinister still hates today) This Monster Fighter lost his eye in 1912 due to a fight with a certain Werewolf, whom he later tracked down and defeated. He has signed on to Johnny Thunder's team as of 1925. Not Shown: -Clutch Powers As a former resident of the neighboring realm of Ninjago, Powers is a stranger in a strange land... no, better yet, a strange time. Used to the modern ways of Ninjago City, this waylaid movie star got himself stuck in the bridge-realm of the Monster Realm in the Earth year 1912. When he got seperated from his filming group and the portal back home closed, he was stuck in the perpetual darkness for about a week until the Monster Fighters group (led by Dr Rodney Rathbone) found him. They led the culture-shocked Clutch back to Earth once they defeated the Lord Vampyre clan. He has been making black and white silent movies of his life on the "World of the Ninja" ever since. A good friend of Jake Raines, as Jake is a fan of his "Temple of the Snake People" adventure film series. The forces of evil Characters from right to left: - Lord Sam Sinister Brother of Alexis Sinister, and Lord of Sinister Manor and owner of his own steam train. Sam lost his left hand in World War I while in the British Army. He later replaced it with a polished steel hook which is as cold as his heart. - Alexis Sinister The sister of Lord Sam Sinister is completely evil and slightly unhinged while being crack shot with any weapon. She hates Johnny Thunder to an extreme extent after he refused to join Sinister in his diabolical schemes. Last seen on Dino Island escaping to places unknown while the island was sinking. - Senor Palomar This South American crime lord is an associate of the Sinister family. He helped Sinister try and get the Sun Disk from the Amazon jungle, before losing it to Achoo, the ancient guardian of the disk. After that adventure, Palomar has fallen out of favor with Lord Sam Sinister, but he hopes to be in his good graces again soon. -Mister Graves A mysterious man of whom little is known. He sometimes is a ally of Lord Sinister and company, although are also enemies at times too. He is always seen with a gold lapel pin in the shape of a badge and a little black book of which he is almost constantly writing in. What is he writing? None have dared ask. (I have put the older pictures of the previous model in the spoiler tag below. This way, you can compare the models of the building and car.) This Adventurers model was inspired by my original Johnny Thunder office building from 2015. I modified it into a corner building with a tower like in set 10255 (assembly square).The building is modular, and comes apart into three sections: roof, second floor and main floor. This model is my actually second tallest creation, as it's shorter than Sam Sinister's Mansion and only slightly taller than my Saloon. Here you can see Johnny Thunder and his car (the aptly-named "Treasure Raider") outside the building. The rear of the building is blank, as it it would be sandwiched next to other buildings. The vent on the roof leads from the stove on the second floor. The lower floor features a cabinet from set 10228 (Haunted House) and a 1920's style ivory phone borrowed from set 10218 (Pet Shop). A hat rack (also from the Pet Shop set) is next to the wall opposite the desk. The far wall features some treasure from Johnny and his friends many adventurers, such as the Golden Shield from "Orient Expedition", a T-Rex tooth from "Dino Island", a trident from the "Quest for Atlantis", the replica hammer of the Thunder god from the "Age of Ragnarok", the helmet of a dwarf from "Middle Zealand", and many others artifacts. The upper floor features Johnny's bed, a stove, table with root beer bottle, and a radio / record player. This model was inspired by the tan car in set 7628 (Shanghai Chase) from the Indiana Jones them. The car now features a hard-top roof instead of the original fabric one, with one section of the roof being removable to allow for two figures to be seated inside plus a rear-mounted spare tire. The model also has a rear-mounted spare tire, located right next to the taillights. The inside of the car seats two figures side-by-side. 3/4/17 Major update complete: I added new pictures of the updated house and car, plus i put the older models into a spoiler tag for you to compare between old and new. (This may apply to the Action & Adventure theme forum, but since it's just a bunch of vehicles I put it here. Sorry if this topic needs to be moved!) Tramp Steamer I built this ship from two Adventurers sets: I used the boat from set 5975 (T-Rex Transport) and modified slightly to resemble set 5976 (River Expedition). The ship features a boiler, steering wheel and a bigger smoke-stack. I have also added a complete bridge with removable roof instead of the open topped one on my previous version of the ship. The top floor of the ship is the bridge - this area contains a nautical telegraph (to control speed) and the wheel (to control direction)... and yes, there is a piece out of place. I fixed it after taking this photo. The lower floor features the boiler room. It is empty right now, but could be re-purposed into a captain's cabin. Island Hopper seaplane This is a seaplane based off 2008 Indiana Jones set 7628 (Peril In Peru), along with inspiration from 2000 Adventurers set 5935 (Island Hopper) thrown in for good measure. This part goes on both sides of the tail: http://alpha.brickli...=87079pb006#T=C The plane now has a interior that seats five people: 1 pilot and four passengers. Treasure Chaser - Johnny Thunder's ride This model was inspired by sets 7622, Race for the Stolen Treasure, and 5918, Scorpion Tracker. Ford Model AA truck This one was heavily inspired by set 10222, Winter Village Post Office. I originally built it from the pictures before instructions came out. 1922 MOON Automobile This car was originally a Rolls Royce Phantom MKII first designed by Carl Greatrix that got transformed into a MOON Touring car. (no, the the jalopy from the Apollo Moon missions, but the car company from St. Louis MO!) once I realized how close they were to each other in style cues. I guess I did the usual car building process backwards: build the car, then find a real life counterpart, instead of building the car off a specific type. Roaring 20's Gangster Sedan This model was modified from set 7682, Shanghai Chase. Perfect for smuggling illegal alcohol or setting up a drive by for friendly meeting with the rival gangs. Gasoline tanker truck Built from set 7683, Fight on the Flying Wing and modified to have a radiator grille and a better fuel tank. Island Racer mark II I modified my copy of set 5920 to have a longer wheelbase and a spare wheel. I also modernized the engine area with special attention paid to the grille. Lord Sam Sinister's personal vehicle This model was inspired by the recent announcement of the Super Man "Action Comics Number 1" exclusive San Diego Comic Con 2015 LEGO set, which I then extended and improved into the model seen here. Down periscope, prepare to fire torpedoes on my mark! Help the evil Lord Sam Sinister stalk and sink his nemesis Johnny Thunder with the cutting edge submarine S-13, nicknamed the Killer Whale, by firing torpedoes and diving deep to avoid depth charges.* *Sub does not actually dive, fire torpedoes, or float on real water. This sinister vessel comes with two propellers, a rudder, a ladder from deck level to the conning tower, and a periscope for seeing your enemies before they see you! Remember: Run silent and Run deep! The ship comes with detailed interior and removable roof. This is so you can plan Sam's next devious attack on Johnny in the war room, pilot the sub in the control area, or try to coax some extra speed out of the motor in the engine room. You can even watch the sea creatures go by with the massive windows in the side of the sub! NOTES & LDD FILES: Here is the LDD file for version 1 (above): http://www.moc-pages...1466873891m.lxf It is based heavily on set 4888 and the sub Nautilus from the 1950's movie version of "20,000 Leagues under the Sea". This is version 3 of the sub's LDD file: submarine version two LDD file This model (v3) was more inspired by the modern subs from 1990's film "The Hunt for Red October" than the Nautilus, though it still retains the large porthole. It features an enlarged conning tower and revised engine room. I also moved the tower four studs closer to the front of the sub. Both models are able to be built in real life. Once upon a time in Egypt... I proudly present my latest creation :) I've been wanting to build something in the adventurers theme like forever and now that it's finished I don't really know what to say so I'll let the pictures do the talking. As to not overflow this topic with too many pictures I hid some in a spoiler. And I still didn't manage to get everything in there that I wanted, should have built it three times this size for that.

Dear adventurer, this is the tale around the Temple of the Black Panther, follow the map and you will probably find it´s secrets... Deep in the south american jungle a shadow strikes through the thicket - the black Panther. It is worshipped by the native people and therefore they build a temple in his honour. To honour the god of the panther, they worship him with gifts of gold and blood... The adventures Part1: Clash of cultures After the landing of the spanish armada, they set forth into the jungle, seeking for the gold around the myths of el dorado. They made contact with the people and shared knowledge and goods so they could make a deal to get a map to the famous sectret temple in the jungle. With this help they managed to reach the tempel and made conttact with the prist of the panther. They have been welcomed friendly but it did not take long before the obsession for gold took over their minds... Part2: The black panther Years later, the ruins of the temple still resist the nature. A native strives through the jungle and came across already forgotten tempel. Suddenly the panther himselfs shows up and the native fled back into the jungle. Part3: Indiana Jones Getaway A shot bursts through the jungle! In the last second Indy jumps out of the way of the bullet across the big ants with the help of his whip. The russian agent has the choice, let him escape or confront herself to the dangers of the jungle? Hello everyone, I've been thinking rather recently of Infamous adventurer Johnny Thunder's Australian hat, as we all know, one side of it is lifted up. However, sometimes the side which is lifted up is represented differently, sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left. ^ Here is 3055 Adventurers Car, which is a promotional set from the original wave. As you can see, Johnny's hat has the left side lifted up, however, some of the other sets from the same wave show his hat having the right side lifted up: And so on, only 5988 The Temple of Anubis (name depends where you live) shows his hat with the right side lifted again: Next two waves have similar pattern going on, with few exceptions, then we get to Orient Expedition, the fourth and last wave, here we see his hat lifted on the left side in every set: Even 70815 Super Secret Police Dropship shows his hat with left side lifted. So, after this long introduction, my question is - on which side is his hat considered to be correctly lifted, left or right? All answers, theories and so on shall be greatly appreciated. This wall painting depicts a scene based on this youtube video. Anyone who has a feline companion may have observed the knocking-down-cups-from-the-table syndrome many cats seem to be showing. And while there is probably extended scientific literature around to explain this behaviour, the general consensus seems to be that cats are monsters but we still love them. I reckon the ancient Egyptians knew this long before we did so I thought it to be a funny Idea to make a painted wall fragment displaying precisely that. At the same time I grabbed this opportunity to do an extensive SNOT study. I wasn’t able to include this in my Egyptian temple, it is too big and the yellow background doesn’t match the rest of the temple (some constructions required a specific part that is not available in tan). I did like working in this scale, it allowed me to put in some more details such as the golden anklet, the striped hair and belt on the female figure. Incase anyone would wonder, the hieroglyphs are printed tiles originating from the very first Star Wars Naboo Fighter. Building instructions available at Rebrickable!
